The significance of Akutagawa appearing in Atsushi’s mind after Francis, when the fight with the Guild was when Akutagawa told Atsushi that the words of his past have no hold on him anymore, the way the vision of Akutagawa is literally doing that now, showing up and telling Atsushi to ignore that and move forward
