when Reki is suddenly swept up in the tidal wave that is Langa, a freakin real life mermaid (--er merman, boy? he keeps messing that up), his life does a railslide into the ridiculous. but if the impossible is, well, possible, then letting the merdude hop on a board couldn't hurt, could it? something about Langa makes Reki absolutely ready and willing to test that theory. aka if you give a fish a skateboard... he's going to fall head over fin in love with you.

I’ve been really into MLP recently after like 4000 years of forgetting about it, so here are two of my newer OC’s, Strawberry Railslide and Chocolate Ganache! They are Lesbians and are in love :)

I’m bored. Heres some info about the type of boards and style of skating by rider. This is from my own observation of watching the anime and not at all anything canon.

Reki kyan:

Style: freestyle/street

Deck: traditional skateboard - probably around 31in

Langa hasegawa:

Style: snowboarding/vert

Deck: customized freestyle longboard - probably around 40in

Miya Chinen:

Style: freestyle/street/downhill

Deck: old school skateboard (maybe even a cruiser) - probably around 28in

Hiromi Higa:

Style: downhill

Deck: customized downhill board - probably around 36in

Kaoru Sakurayashiki:

Style: street/downhill (his obsession in optimizing terrain and beating Adam’s time implies this)

Deck: customized downhill board - probably 37in to 43in

Kojiro Nanjo:

Style: Downhill/Street/Cruising (his deck, fish motif, and sharp turn implies hes good at carving—maybe a surfer?)

Deck: customized downhill board (??) - probably around 36in

Ainosuke Shindo:

Style: Dance/freestyle/park

Deck(s): traditional skateboard, customized dance board - probably around 45in

Tadashi Kikuchi:

Style: freestyle/park

Deck: traditional skateboard - probably around 31in

Again, take this info with a grain of salt since it’s based off what I’ve seen so far (up to episode 8).

EDIT: with episode 9, ive updated joe and cherry since they were originally street skaters. And to go into further detail, I use park to describe the inbetween for street and vert since both Adam and snake show prowess in both.
