Whats ur opinion on Lana? Usually when i see people mention Cia it's them saying she's a creep for the photo room wall(which. I cant defend... love u tho cia..) or her "crush" on Link/The Hero's Spirit but Lana is the "good half" of the Time Sorceress, making her the "good half" of Cia whichh i never see ppl talk abt. But i think Lana also had a "crush" on link/hero spirit... sorry for the not-sensible ramble im eepy🤕

AUUUGH i have wanted to collect my thoughts on Lana for a Good While.

I have a some personal interpretations abt what it actually means for Lana to be Cia’s “good half”, that rely mostly on what i personally find more interesting than black and white “good and evil” arguments LOL.

(imo i see lana as less of her “good side” and moreso cia’s concentrated rationale, compassion, and contentedness. cia spirals because she cant/Wont access these things and be Truly happy anymore. allegory for mental illness i won’t lie to you)

But in terms of her crush on Link then u should know that it is absolutely there !!

not to mention the Many instances throughout the game of her doing the Worst Job of acting like she doesn’t have a crush.

The thing about it is that having a crush doesn’t inherently make you a creep, it just leaves you prone to acting kindof cringe (said lovingly). Lana makes me cringe a bit, and i think everybody forever should lean into this. she’s a loser and it can be endearing and funny as long as you understand that for every moment that lana is a loyal, smart, determined person, she’s also a bad liar (on several fronts) with a frankly embarrassing attachment

a final note is that it’s obvious both lana and cia have a deep emotional attachment to link. I like to think that in the future what would be considered a fruitless crush would blossom into a long standing sense of (platonic) love and care for a dear friend 🫶

Im gooood !! I was gonna post a ramble about my day bc it was so lovely but got. Too tired to lol bc it was a long day

But I'll give u some deets!!

Basically i went on a hike to a river out of town bc i wanted to take advantage of the last few days of summer before it gets super rainy slash busy w work

It was sooo nice

I played uke and did some writing and just... Enjoyed being outside:)) and then after bc i was surrounded by trees, it got cold so i left and went to the beach and laid in the sun while listening to music and Sighs i wish i couldve stayed there forever

And then got home, chilled for like half n hour, and then went out for a very later dinner

So amst eepy!!!

Just transferring the writing i did on my outing to my phone (it was handwritten in me notebook) and then ima sleeeep!!!

EMOTICONNIE EMOTICONNIE EMOTICONNIE I WILL NEVER SHUT UP ABOUT EMOTICONNIE AND I HAVE A RAMBLE SPOT NOW >:3 OHKAY so emoticonnie has gone thru a lot both creation/redesign and lore wise bbygirl started off as an object show OC for an object camp i almost participated in before falling off the face of discord for a while and shelved her, theeen about half(??) a year later my sillyass found her in my art folders and I was like holy fuck!!!!! emoticonnie!!!! so I grabbed her and turned her into a lil ASCII art girl & realized i had nothing 2 do with her until I remembered "holy shit!!!! text doctors!!!!" and gave her a text doctor form then roleplayed with a pal (rp still going on but ngl im 2 eepy rn) and uh boom!!!!!!! she alive now!!!!!!! her storie is a taaad silliebillie (tragic and sad) but to summarize it mostly cuz its not fully done yet; Renelle Jennis, a 5yr kindergarten kid started having an imaginary friend named Nicole Rain, she was nice at first, a 9yr who wanted to play dolly and dress-up with Renelle whenever they could. It was like that for several years, but when she started to grow older than Nicole she (Nicole) disapeared suddenly, and at 11 Renelle nearly forgot she existed at all; until she found an old newspaper...

"Nicole Rain McRae-Willers found dead at ---------- at ----AM"

It was dated Jan 24th 19--, the exact year being redacted, but from what surrounded it it seemed to be from the mid-late 90s, why was this here? She didn't know, but she assumed nothing of it until that name fully clicked: it was the Nicole, her friend, Nicole. She went 2 years carrying this mystery in her head, until she met her one and only friend since Nicole: Kolette Cae (who preferred to be called by her lastname Cae), she seemed to have also seen Nicole as a kid and even remembers playing dolly and dress-up with the two despite Renelle's deniance of that ever happening, but she just accepted that she mis-remembered and has a new friend now. Cae kept trying to convince Renelle to investigate into Nicole with her, and after months of denying she finally caved in when Cae became more distant and shallow. Leading them both to discover more and more about her, and when they finally cracked her specific location, a now-abandoned labratory, they went there. Cae was nervous while Renelle took the lead, despite Cae being the one who begged and begged for them to see it she seemed scared and even backed out when they got close to the room she died in, Reenelle didn't though; she persisted and got to the exact spot Nicole died in, feeling the cold air of her death run through her...until she heard footsteps...they were running to her. "Oh..hey C--" shoved down that bottomless pit that once had a machine deep below. By her own best friend..... Many years later she woke up, a void of code engulfing her...where was she? Who was she? She couldn't quite remember... There was something deep in her though, a feeling of dread, as if she wasn't meant to be here. That feeling suffocated her for ages as she lived and found her new identity, a disguise if she ever escaped, and even..a new exit, maybe she should go out, whats the worst that can....huh? Theres a....guy there....maybe she should go say hi?

oh wow this is all really interesting!! i was really drawn in reading that they all have such interesting events surrounding them!
