Had he known she’d been standing there this whole time trying to figure out exactly how to approach someone like him? Possibly.

leave it up to his mom to think of something so odd to send him on his birthday, but well, it’s the thought that counts, he supposes. she was always on some spiel about supporting local businesses, and this cookie company must be the latest beneficiary of her support.

so now, he’s carrying a huge basket of cookies with a baby photo of him imprinted on it. at least the photo is cute, he thinks to himself, but whoever thought it was a good idea to be putting faces on cookies ... he’s not too sure about that bit. “indy!” he yells, needing to find ways of getting rid of these cookies. “would you like a cookie? they’re super cute,” he exclaims, flashing a big smile as he holds up the basket higher.

It’s a warm morning in Agrabah, and the street rat is ready to begin a new day that’s dawning beautifully. Of course, it has to be done with such a thing as stealing, because hey... he needs the food if he’s gonna live. Thus, he and his little monkey companion start the morning out by quickly jumping rooftop to rooftop and stopping on the awning above the melon cart. They haven’t stolen from here in quite a while; you know, best to kind of... shift stealing points every few days. They never know where to catch you if they never know which cart is next.

And Razoul wasn’t exactly the best at figuring out which cart the young thief was gonna steal from next. So... what to do, what to do...

Whoops! That’s it. He signaled to Abu, who jumped onto the head of the nearest resident of the Marketplace, starting up the distraction that led to the melon cart salesman leaving his post quickly to see what the hullabaloo was about. That left Aladdin open to grab two melons, and then two more for later today, when it was lunchtime.

It wasn’t the best existence, but at least he had a home, a friend, and food. That was the best he could ask for.

Jasper aveva deciso di indagare e sarebbe arrivato fino in fondo alla questione, volente o nolente, lo sceriffo poteva poco, dai piani alti volevano insabbiare la cosa molto probabilmente. Non giocava portare il panico alla luce, quindi la loro speranza era quella che i cittadini dimenticassero, ma il dolore tuttavia permaneva che non modo forte negli animi di chi era stato colpito. Jasper non aveva più fiducia,non ne aveva dei piani alti della Polizia e non si trattava di suo zio ma di persone ai piani superiori, non si fidava del consiglio, che ogni anno insabbiava prove e tirava avanti nonostante morti e dispersi. In se stesso aveva di sicuro più fiducia, specialmente da quando i poteri era o aumentati e non poteva fare a meno di pensare che adesso avrebbe potuto contrastare chiunque. - No, andrò in fondo a questa storia!-

Quella determinazione, quello sguardo così acceso tradiva un ferrea voglia di scoprire ciò che stavano tenendo nascosto a lei e a tutti i cittadini di Ravenfire. La linea sottile tra vendetta e giustizia era ormai un ricordo, e il ragazzo di fronte a sé sembrava essere più che determinato a venire a capo della situazione. Genevieve non poté fare altro che serrare le labbra in una linea dura, facendo un lungo respiro, incamerando così più aria possibile prima di poter parlare. « Stai attento, okay? Non credo che sarà facile e soprattutto potrei perfino farti male. E' meglio che vada ora, ma davvero Jasper non farti prendere la mano... » Con quel semplice avvertimento diede un rapido sguardo all'ora prima di salutare l'amico ed allontanarsi con ancora più dubbi riguardo a ciò che fosse successo.

I stand corrected - by a WEI officer, no less!"  He held back a laugh, slipping his shoulders under the water.  The hot springs were his newest addition to the castle of Hefei, at the behest and suggestion of the Wei officer he had taken on behalf of the coalition.  As Wu continued to maintain a presence at Hefei  (and Wei was unwilling to advance and retake the outpost, for fear of being the first to break the coalition), there were a few concessions made to allow a select few Wei officers to maintain the area as well.  This one in particular was rapidly becoming one of his favorite officers... and not just Wei.

"The Japanese clearly knew something we did not with these Hot Springs.  And with a cup of wine, I dare almost FEAR I might melt here on the spot."  So he'd had a few saucers already of the clear liquid.
