Csgo broken ranks fixture

#Csgo broken ranks fixture how to
It will take a lot of time, but the reward of being one of the best in the world will be worth it in the end. If others did it, there’s no reason to believe that you can’t do the same. Take it as a challenge, and motivate yourself to join the exclusive club of The Global Elite rank that only a few already managed to do. Anything is possible if you have the right mindset. However, don’t let that discourage you from trying. It might not come as a surprise that reaching the top rank and becoming The Global Elite might take you forever to complete. How Time-Consuming Is It To Get To the Top? They’re a valuable source of information, and you can learn a lot of tricks that you can later use in your own live matches. Check out some of the streamers and learn by watching their videos.
#Csgo broken ranks fixture how to
Each weapon has a different spray pattern, so learning how to work around it is important if you want to get better. This might sound obvious, but use the game’s practice mode. Calling out “sandwich” on Mirage is a lot more helpful than calling out “the area between connector and tetris.” 3. And of course, make sure you know all your callouts. Learn how to express yourself clearly and concisely, and keep the comms clear unless you have something valuable to say for the team. This won’t be the same as dealing with random teammates in pub games, but playing in a familiar setting does help regardless. Play with friends in a relatively structured setting to practice executes and strategies for specific situations. To reach the top ranks in CSGO, you must get ready to invest a lot of time practicing your skills and developing a winner’s mindset. There are a few particular areas to focus on if you want to maximize your chances of climbing. Like anything else in life, climbing the rank ladder is not an easy task. What are the best practices for ranking up? It’s still a generally strong system, though. There are plenty of people who get around the system, either by smurfing to intentionally play against those who are worse or boosting by using some method of getting one’s account ranked higher than it should be. The matchmaker will later use the ranking system and match up the players accordingly. It’s the best tool for categorizing the player base and separating the pros from the newbies. The system follows your live matches and analyzes key stats such as kills, deaths, and assists. Glicko 2 is the main tool for ranking the players in the same groups that will later be used for better matchmaking. There’s still a debate about how this ranking system works, but it’s not all covered in a veil of secrecy.ĬSGO uses a system called Glicko 2 to analyze data that will later be used for ranking the player according to his performance. It won’t be easy, but no one can ever stop you from trying. To do so, you’ll have to grind through Master Eagle and Supreme Master First Class if you want to join the top 0.7% of the player base that rank as The Global Elite. Going from Master Guardian all the way to The Global Elite will be much more challenging, even if you’re an experienced player. The first ten ranks might not be such a challenge to complete, but the next eight are a completely different story.

Modern!Davos Blackwood headcannons (pt. 1?)
— SFW —
I’ll hit it from the back, just so you don’t get attached — i like the way you kiss me // artemas
I can definitely see myself making more of these. Adding to the modern! Davos lore. Not proofread. LMK if y’all have other ideas or headcannons too!
Tumblr media
Benjicot Davos Blackwood. People call him Davos. Only close friends call him Ben. Only you can call him Benji. Although, he goes by his middle name usually. Now, bloody Ben? That’s a story to be told later on how he got... (There is no story. It’s just people saying “Shit.. there’s bloody Ben..” or something like that. There’s no violence to the name, only pure exasperation when people see him)
This is the boy you need to hide away in your closet or under your bed when your parents come checking in on you randomly. You could’ve been working on homework, or just hanging around. And somehow this “annoying” guy appeared outside your bedroom window—and you just had to let him in. “C’mooon, let me in sweetheart.. you think I can’t climb up there? Stand back, I’ll show you.”
He is the type of person to rant about how the education system is rigged, set up to fail students, or rant about it in general and as a whole. Anyway he’s got a 4.0, and makes it onto the dean’s list every semester in college. However he is always late to class—complete with either a Monster or Red Bull drink in tow.
He invites you over to his place like a gentleman. Ignore his “annoying fuckass” roommate.. (it’s Aeron.) He does the whole (“it’s a little messy :3”) as he leads you down the hall of their apartment. “Hello MTV, welcome to my crib.”
Tumblr media
He cooks at that desk, game-wise. Faceit level is between 5-6. CSGO rank is Master Guardian II (He does tell you he once hit Global Elite. But he stopped the grind to focus on school, not because he’s washed or anything—maybe you could be his Valorant duo? Or be his support in League; he’ll have you know he makes a mean ADC.. do you do overnight discord calls?—)
If you play more casual games (Minecraft, stardew, etc) he will play with you, HOWEVER, he will either ruin the aesthetic of the minecraft world via automated farms OR speedrun the mines in stardew (he passes out so much it starts to affect the money you’re trying to save for farm upgrades). Every time he goes fishing in either game he puts on a country accent and makes “gone fishing, getting away from my bitch wife” jokes. “I’ve uh- carved out an area for the iron farm. Nothin’ too big—just something to get started.” (Shows you an utterly decimated and leveled biome)
Davos Blackwood fun fact no. 43; he does rallying (rally racing). He went to a rally school for fun over the summer. Ignore the price tag; yes he saved up for that! no it’s not dangerous! Regular driving wise he does donuts in empty parking lots, and takes corners way too fast. He is the type to street race a random ass pickup truck or some other car that pulls up beside him. It is thrilling, and he knows you enjoy it too despite your protests and how you grip the handle above the seat. “No it’s fine.. pfft—don’t worry don’t— I’ll smoke him. Just watch.”
Speaking of cars. Do not complain about his car. This is his baby. His one and only. It’s an old car; it’s so old it’s bordering not being considered street safe anymore. Ignore the anime girl stickers with their tits and ass out, that was there already he didn’t do that. “It’s safe don’t worry—I’m getting the bumper and everything fixed like Monday I swear.. no I did not hit anything why would you say that-“
Tumblr media
He’s oddly in-tune with his emotions and emotions of others despite appearances. He’ll KNOW if something’s bothering you. Maybe you’re just a little too quiet, you laugh at a joke a little too late or even if it sounds unenthusiastic. Whatever it is, Davos is on the case. A hug, some pep talk, he’ll let you punch his palms to get any anger out. He’s your ride or die, of course he’d do anything for you. And maybe if it’s a person who upset you he might pay them a visit.. “Who was it this time? Oh—that bitch? Ugh. I’m sorry about that… I have a gun just saying—“
Needs your hand in his. Or some part of you touching him. Whatever works. If he does not get a modicum of affection in 5 minute intervals he shrivels up like a plant—no he’s not being dramatic. Is the type to whine loudly about it regardless of where you’re at. On occasion he lets out bloodcurdling screams as a joke, lamenting about being denied tender love from you. You think it’s funny in private, you do not think it’s funny in public. Which is why he always does it in public. “Gimme your hand. Wha? What do you mean ‘it’s too hot out’? I wanna.. I wanna hold your hand… I don’t care if you’re sweaty—LET ME HOLD YOUR HAND”
I do believe his brain would be.. a little rotted. He sends you tiktoks, niche memes, shitposts. He will watch twitch streams or league/csgo content creators on YouTube. His vocab is normal, but does consist of slang from the gaming community. This can be good and funny, or sometimes bad if he uses it during serious moments. However he’s at least a normal human being and knows when to talk ‘normally’. He says joever unironically
Shadow boxes you. No matter what’s happening or where. You could be looking at something in a store and you just see slow, dramatic punches going toward you. He makes the whooshing sound too. This is how you know he’s bored. He’s also the type to tackle you to the bed. Not in a sensual or cutesy way but in like a WWE way that initiates a caged fighting match between you two.
Regardless of your mastery level of skateboarding he will hold your hands and pull you around on his board. Late at night when the parks or lots are empty, you both will be there. And he’ll be a smiling goof as he gently steers you around on the board. He usually says fuck helmets (his one big flaw), but carries one around just for you. His safety be damned. Yours? No question about it, you’re wearing all the gear required.
Smoker. Red flag. Marlboros, sometimes he uses zyns. It’s bad. Yes he knows he’s going to get lung cancer and succumb to nicotine. But he just can’t help it—it helps him relax. It’s why there’s a plethora of gum and also a cologne bottle in his car. Does it help? That’s to be determined. Does not smoke near you however if you don’t like that, he’s not that bad of an asshole.

I’ve seen many people reblog a post which contains tweets that, in my eyes, amount to a single complaint that is only half true (but that I agree with for the most part). But anyway, here’s a longpost:
Tumblr media
(tweet in question)
I think it’s mostly wrong to say FPS multiplayer “peaked” ("was most fun for the playerbase"?) with Source games in the way presented. Believe it or not, you can still join a server with 30 people playing on a user map with fucked up assets everywhere, and some of the 30 people playing will be 14-year-olds with bad mics getting mad at being spawn killed by someone with 20,000 hours in the game. In fact, there are servers like this in most Source games, including Garry’s Mod, TF2, and CSS and CSGO (but honestly I think TF2 is most representative of the above scenario). I just launched Valve’s community server browser and have found an unending list of silly-sounding servers for TF2: Minecraft trade, Murder at the Mannor, Zombie Escape, Medieval Mode, all full or near-full. I checked Garry’s Mod: SCP-RP, Zombie Survival, Clone Wars Roleplay, “Swamp Cinema”, 1980’s Mafia Roleplay, DarkRP (x20), again, all well-populated. Admittedly CS2 was mostly deathmatch servers (due to it being Source 2 and not Source and so missing a lot of plugins that would allow for “fun” servers), but CSS still had surf, bhop, minigames, and jailbreak servers still going and full. My server browser won’t show CSGO for whatever reason, but up until CS2 released I know for a fact that these silly ass servers still exist there too. The implication that these servers and their conditions are gone is wrong. You don’t want a server with the exact same conditions though, I think you want to relive the specific memories you’re having and feel happiness again. But maybe I’m going too far there.
How about this. I’ll give it to you, Dusk developer, that for you FPS multiplayer peaked with insane TF2 trade servers, but you also make boomer shooters for a living, so I think you’re biased towards enjoying an older generation of games anyway. Modern FPS games are fantastic and in their own ways contain a lot of fun. Modern games in general fill the spaces that, for you, TF2 servers filled. Have you seen Roblox minigames and Minecraft server plugins? They’re actually crazy and decently well made. I’m excited that kids have grown up in such a good environment for games. They have tons of options that we didn’t have back then. It’s awesome! Like, don’t let your nostalgia blind you to the fact that kids are having just as much fun as you now. TF2 and Garry’s Mod are not the be-all, end-all of FPS multiplayer fun. That sentiment I completely disagree with and think people should get over.
But like, how the hell does competitive gaming play into this? I truly don’t buy the wording of “Esports and competitive ranking ruined multiplayer”. It’s just not true. Not only are the servers you’re mourning still exist, they’re still well-populated and their “golden age” coincided with some of the greatest heights in competitive FPS gaming. You know what’s funny? When CSGO released in 2012, TF2 saw a drop of almost 10,000 average players. It recovered basically the next year. Besides a small dip in 2018, TF2 had held around 50,000 average players since its release, until 2019 where its average player-count has risen to about 80,000 players. Garry’s Mod wouldn’t peak in total concurrent players until 2015 and has had a dedicated core of players averaging around 25,000 since like 2013. Seriously, these are incredibly consistent player-counts throughout the release of Overwatch, PUBG, Fortnite, Apex, and Valorant. In fact, contrary to the tweeter's implicit assumptions, it seems like nothing much has changed, and that competitive gaming did not, at all, ruin or depopulate these “fun” spaces.
So, again, how does competitive gaming and esports play into this? Only thing I think is valid is the fact that a few popular modern FPSes don’t do the whole “community-hosted server” thing: Apex, Fortnite, PUBG, Valorant, and Overwatch all do not have native community-hosted server support. Which, to be frank, is bad for their competitive gaming scene too! Esports has ALWAYS used self-hosted servers for practicing to get better. I don’t know the argument for not having these sorts of things, maybe not developing the toolkit for these things is easier than developing them. IDK. But I agree that it is bad that many popular games don’t support this sort of thing. The “self-hosted netizen” is a category of person that’s been declining for a long time regardless of the effect of competitive first-person shooter games on the casual first-person shooter games self-hosted server market. But again, for the topic of the post, I think this is a completely nonsensical implication. As far as I can tell ALL Valve-made Source engine games have active and popular community servers still, and the popular games ALL have very populated servers with “fun” gamemodes and atmospheres. Competitive has grown very popular, yes. It's true. It's fun to compete, everyone knows it. But esports has taken very little if anything away from the casual playerbase of Source games.
(Also, for the record, during the actual multiplayer FPS golden age of the time, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 shooters, there were no self-hosted servers for us, and it was still the most fun anyone ever had playing casually on console. It was the age of trickshotting and montages, man! For the intent of this post that exact restriction counts as “keeping players from interacting with one another” yet these games, especially COD, were, uh… infamously social. Not to mention these games had competitive scenes alongside the casual scene perfectly fine.)
I think, really, ignoring the actual content of the tweet, these tweets are just about nostalgia for your childhood. Which is fine! You can miss things you used to do for fun and no longer do. Probably every human that’s ever existed has gone through this. I mean, again, it is kind of popular in current culture to be nostalgic. The 90s aesthetic, early 2000s media, retro games, super hero movies, cartoons being consumed by adults to a greater degree than ever, et cetera. I think to some extent the complaint itself isn’t like, a completely unclouded judgement of the Decline of The Beauty of Multiplayer Gaming throughout the years. The concrete complaints in those tweets seem both a little rose-tinted and unnecessarily doomerpilled to me. But like, regardless, it’s kind of your fault for not returning to these things, man. Go join one of those servers if you’re not busy being an adult with a job and friends and other obligations that may keep you from doing things that you’re not used to and have fun like you did in childhood. Or is that what's actually the problem…? I don’t know. A suggestion. I just think in the end the complaint isn't valid.
This post is long and I had a LOT of thoughts that I may have missed or chopped off at the incorrect time. I think the picture I'm trying to build has probably been communicated, though? Maybe I’m not considering something, maybe I overinterpreted implications, maybe the fact that the playerbase of TF2 and Garry's Mod being highly consistent for ten years or whatever is not indicative of anything I've said, but I hope regardless you understand that like, at least part of this tweet is weird to say in the ways I've attempted to untease. People young and old are still having crazy times in video games and esports has done, as far as I can tell, absolutely nothing to change at, ever.
Turning off reblogs because I have a feeling anyone who doesn't follow me might become annoying about this

Can you go into a bit more detail on like the purpose of an esports league for a game?
it's loss-leading marketing to draw the casual playerbase into being more serious players. online competitive games of the types that have esports scenes -- league of legends, DOTA, fortnite, csgo, rocket league, valorant, etc. -- have the same basic economic model as mobile games, where a small percentage of very invetested players account for the vast majority of revenue. the games are free so that the playerbase can be as large as possible -- this is the first stage of marketing. the second stage, which esports is a part of, is marketing to that casual playerbase to try and turn them into serious, dedicated players that produce revenue rather than costing it.
someone who plays a match of league of legends or two every week with their friends isn't going to buy a battle pass -- someone who grinds out several hours of ranked ladder every night is. esports generates a small self-contained entertainment ecosystem that gets people to spend their time outside the game thinking about the game -- this converts them into more serious players who are more likely to become the big-spenders and regular purchasers of in-game items that keep these game spectacularly profitable.

Pawpaw for the tree ask game?
How do I name my characters? Straight vibes.
What I remember from naming Izjik is that I wanted that ž sound in there. I wanted her name to sound foreign to a western audience, so I pulled from what sounds I know go into Polish. All of Halawema’ishi actually, is a mix between what vibes a little American girl like me gets from Polish and Hawaiian. The rest of the Outcasts were named arbitrarily. Which maybe wasn't the best idea. Writer's, always google what you name your characters. You might’ve accidentally stolen a handle from a ranked csgo player, some guy on Spotify, and a 1940s era derogatory term used by Australian soldiers for American soldiers stationed on the island.
For Mortal God, I had a hard time coming up with Astra's name actually. For a while, she was just Dust of the Road. Mashal was named Mashal because it fit with the Shuari vibes, since he's from a largely ethnically Shuari city. Ivander's whole family had vaguely French names for no reason. I usually save French for Skysheer, though I guess he's got some Skysheerian in him.
I keep lists of side character names from Illarian cultures not vaguely based on an Earth culture. Halawemavira, Nabafyrian, and siren most notably. Maybe I'll put those on here someday. For a lot of Illarian cultures, I'm usually able to use the city names to come up with something. I've always been pretty good about pulling names out of thin air. This was a very valuable skill when I used to run dnd.
Thanks for the ask!

the theatre kid joel post is so funny to me bc in my eyes hes literally just a gamer. thats how gamer guys act. set aside the fact that he has a really cutesy build style and youll find someone like him in most discord servers, gay jokes included. compare him to jimmy and grian and youll See (oli too but. well. very easy to not seem like a theatre kid next to oli). his csgo global elite ranking is just too integral to his character

I actually think Fortnite is the most entertaining shooter game they play, so I’m excited! My ranking is 1) Fortnite, 2) CS, and 3) Valorant. I honestly won’t even watch valorant most of the time because I find it so incredibly boring.
i like csgo > fortnite > valo but theyre close now. only when the dteam play it tho

Modern!Davos Blackwood headcannons (pt. evil)
— the bad —
Me and my husband, we’re sticking together — Me and My Husband // Mitski
We’ve explored the ‘good’ of modern! Davos. But now it’s time to explore the bad.
cw — toxic behavior within relationships. Possessive behavior.
Tumblr media
Davos is a gamer. And does have gamer rage. But it’s not the type where he’ll cool off after the game or where he’ll laugh about it. These fuckers are throwing his ranked games—they deserve the death penalty and to get doxxed AT LEAST. A bad night on league, csgo, or valorant has a chance of making him violently angry. It’s like you need to leave the room for safety type shit. He has punched his monitor, and he does punch walls. He snaps out of that behavior when he gets with you. Or tries to at least. He doesn’t want you to see that but you do, once in a while. He just can’t stand it! Idiots—idiots with keyboards in front of their fucking blind faces. Goddamn—not to mention you- … just—just get out! He’s fine just—! GET THE FUCK OUT! Close the fucking door behind you Jesus Christ—.. can’t do the simplest shit…
Temperamental. Almost to a startling level. The smallest thing can set him off sometimes, but that’s only if he’s already in a bad mood to begin with. Someone looking at you a little too long? He’ll glare at them, maybe even take an intimidating step toward them. On the road and some fucker’s going too slow? He will lay on the horn and curse them out. Once he did get out of the car to “deal” with “this jackass”. Someone wanted to fight? He’ll stand on business too don’t worry (he did win, but a win that didn’t make you feel good watching it). Laying a gentle hand on him cools him down a little, but what really stops him is the look of disbelief and fear on your face. What? He was just showing that guy what was up—you honestly think he’d kill someone? It looked like he would, are you dumb? That wasn’t even a full fight—don’t be stupid..
Don’t look at his Twitch dashboard. He will still follow people who’re ‘problematic’ or are just straight up cringe. Yes, there are also essentially naked egirl streamers too. Oh what? He can’t follow them? Why? They make good content, plus he was following them before he was with you. He doesn’t even watch them anymore! Don’t tell him you’re policing his media consuming now too—wha? No no! He didn’t mean it like that—
If you fight, he will not let you leave. He wants to settle whatever it is right then and there, no cooling off or whatever. It does stem from a good place somewhat; he doesn’t want to prolong the argument, or revisit it ever. So he wants to just figure out the solution right there. Which means he’ll do anything to stop you from leaving. This behavior makes the argument and situation much worse. Grabbing your wrist, pulling you toward him. Blocking the door… what? You wanna go? You can’t just walk off like that! You’re just ignoring the problem! He’s not letting you—Get back here!
Davos’s apologies… are technically sincere. He’s more so scared of being left alone, without you. So he’ll say anything to make you stay with him. Sweetened words, kisses against your skin and face. Spamming texts, repeated phone calls. You know he didn’t mean it! He’s just got an impulsive tongue, he says things he doesn’t mean. You know this already.. he’s trying to be better! Better for you! Won’t you come back? Please? He’s sorry, really. No take backs. He’ll be better this time around..
He is loyal. Which is good, but also that means he’s clingy. You could be the toxic one of the relationship, but he would stay regardless because of his unwavering commitment and love to/for you (and fear of being alone). He stands on business with you, whether if it’s your fault or not. If someone’s gonna swing at you, he’s gonna be there to take the blow and swing right back. But his devotion can turn suffocating, smothering. He needs you to respond to his texts and calls, he needs you to check in with him throughout the day. He’s loyal to you.. but how does he know you’re loyal to him..? He just missed you! ..you texted him ten minutes ago?—so what?? You’re his! he should know what’s going on with you. Plus he’s bored, can’t you do something with him? …you don’t have time for him? What?! Why?! …are you with someone right now—
That leads to this. He will absolutely be in your business. Where’re you going? Who’re you texting? Hey who was that? A guy friend? Hmmm he looks suspicious.. the way he smiled at you… maybe you should drop that friend. Davos doesn’t like his intentions. Yes, there are always intentions—why can’t you just listen to him for once? God didn’t you see the way that guy looking at you? Davos would be the type to get into a fist fight because he deems someone’s glance toward you as making a move. That fucker’s been staring at you the entire time you’ve been here! He had to do something. What if that guy had bad intentions hm? God—you just aren’t aware of things are you? ..he didn’t mean it like that c’mon now—
Returning back to his gaming habits.. Davos will ignore you if he is gaming. If you’re not someone who plays the same as him? You’re getting ignored for at least five hours or more at night. But if you are a gamer and you both play together? He’s the guy who “kindly” criticizes your every move. Backhanded comments, mansplaining basic gameplay mechanics. Yeah… he’s that guy. Hm.. he guesses that was a nice move. He would’ve made a different play that wasted less resources however. It was good enough he supposes. Do you even know how this mechanic works? You do? Oh.. well you act like you don’t understand the basic macro of the game—

Holy shit, yall need to realize that it's a VALO GAME, and this is the reactions that you get when you don't play well or be a HEALER. SHE GOT UPSET OVER NOTHING THOSE TWO GUYS ARE IN GOLD AND WE ALL KNOW GOLD VALO LOBBIES SUCK. we get it that chamber and iso want to rank up but oh my god, the chamber was ACTUALLY FUNNY IN A RUDE TONE. YALL ARE JUST FUCKING PUSSIES WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO TINA. YOU BABY HER SO MUCH THAT SHE CANT DO WANT SHE WANTS. LET HER BE HER OWN PERSON AND GROW FUCKING THICK SKIN. yall need to stop defending her when she has issues that don't pertain to yall if she shakes when she plays valo then she needs to stop playing valo. and yall if she ever played CSGO o7 to yall who defend her because she'll rage right left and center with how many assholes there are on that game.
And Dylan was an antagonizer for the iso and chamber
ALSO WHY DID HER MODS UNPUBLISH IT MY GOD DO YALL SUCK UP TO HER THAT MUCH THAT YOU CANT BEAR TO SEE HER IN TERMOIL SHE NEEDS TO KEEP IT UP TO SHOW THAT SHE IS ONLY HUMAN AND THAT THESE MEN ARE ASSHOLES. what if a girl was just starting to play an FPS game and was very nervous about it. They go and find her twitch channel, sees that she plays valo and the girl gets excited because, a woman is playing valo. Only to find that her most recent vod is a highlight that doesn't have the valo content in it. So the girl goes to her duos channel and sees this NORMAL VALO GAMEPLAY happen and wonder why she got rid of it, because it shows how shitty guys are when it comes down to FPS games like valo.
