-the three nerds from Rayman Legends. I SORT OF took creative liberties with Barbara's outfit

-BETILLA REDESIGN. HER ORIGINS DESIGN MAKES ME SO MAD WHAT DID THEY DO. WHAT WERE THEY DOING WITH HER AND THE NYMPHS. WHY DID THEY DO THAT. I'm pretty happy with my design tho,, don't ask where the rings came from I just thought it'd make for a silly magic design trait

-An assortment of Captain Laserhawk doodles. aka me finding my new favorite gay people (a limbless wonder and a frog assasin). hey also does anyone else imagine Ramon/Rayman going back to the Glade of Dreams after All That Shit In Eden. Because I Think About It. if there's anything left there after what happened anyway,,,,

Remember how I said I might turn that horror Rayman art into an actual Infection AU? Here it iiiiiiiisssssssss~~

Designs maaaaaay change, but I'm sticking with these for now.

There's a plot for this, so I'm going to give a quick synopsis for it.

"The heart of the world has corrupted, Polokus has become inactive, and a deadly infection has run rampant. It is altering the lums of the world, making them sick. Many have taken matters into their own hands, while many of the Glade's heros have fallen ill to the sickness. There is no clear solution, but many have a feeling that a certain missing nymph may have the answer. Polokus needs his muse back; they just need to find her."

That's enough to not be too spoilery. More to come tho :)

Progress and Rayman stuff under cut:

The infection impacts thingamajigs differently from other creatures of the Glade. Most being (dream and nightmare) turn to mossy stone statues. Others, like the nymphs, are conditionally immune.

Thingamajigs however...

Yeaaaaaaah. Not the best look bro. He needs a snickers.

Rayman if he was EMO!!1!11

Obviously, I'm joking. So, like, you know how Rayman is mostly Lums and stuff? Y'know how he gets health via Red Lums?

What if he gets spooked enough, his Red Lums turn into Black Lums???

The issue is that you need to scare him BAD. And I mean bad. Like, shit his pants punching hold through monitor scared.

Also, this form is extremely unstable. Rayman is built on light, so when it turns into dark, he becomes extremely fragile and shaky.

Also, Rayman doesn't remember anything while in this form. And he's in it like, 5min max. It's always in short burst, so it's a blink or you'll miss it sorta deal.

When Rayman is in this form, he either fights or flights (he freezes when he's scared normally)

When he flees, you won't see him for like, a day or 2 then Rayman would come back all willy nilly.

If he fights, well some part of you is getting ripped off <33

He's also super fast, so this creature sorta became an urban legend. Something to scare the kiddies from going out into the jungle alone.

(Globox and Rayman probably went hunting for it once or twice)

Some Rayman doodles!!! Thanks to the Ubisoft store having their black Friday sale (the games are literally at most $6, GO CHECK EM OUT-), me and @bakurik got to play some of the Rayman games, such as Rayman Origins, Rayman 2, and Raving Rabbids (that one was mostly me reliving my childhood ngl-)

A Baby Globox finally loses its tadpole tail at about puberty stage when it happens there’s a major celebration think of it like a sweet 16 party.

Those kids are SPOILED and treated like ROYALTY the Glade of Dreams has a tail pop parties every other week (everyone’s invited)

So @/rainbow_wolf120 so unkindly didn't credit me in their Hoodlum Rayman post that I MADE UP, so I'm making my own rendition out of spite <3.

Rayman is made of lums, and everyone knows this. So what if those lums could get super spooked when he's all energized (cuz red lums being turned into hoodlums n stuff)? Then, it would corrupt his body made of light into a body made of darkness, making him become nightmarish lol. He's like a porcupine/hedgehog texture and touching him makes you itchy. He's also very hostile with most things, only running away when he doesn't have an immediate win. This form is incredibly temporary though, with the longest he's been in this state being 10 minutes.

This puts almost everyone on the table to being attacked so everyone needs to be weary. He becomes an urban legend thing in the Glade later told to rambunctious teensy kids who like to wander around at night.

Hoodlum Ray also really hates water. This specific kind of water is enhanced with dream properties, which is more effective than tap water. Both work though, for now.

It’s only mildly concerning that the only drawing I felt like colouring was one in my simplistic/joke style lol.
