A DORESAGU FANFIC!!

This fanfic was written for day 1 of Touhou Ship Week 2023, legacy and confession!!

This is also my first time actually posting a full fanfic on ao3, surprisingly.

I put a lot of effort into it, and it also portrays some hcs I have about Sagume, Doremy, and the Lunar Capital.

That’s basically my motto and why I talk so directly about so many topics (also probably why I land myself in so many disagreements lol)

The reason I ship is for the full scope of the relationship, so I’m really not a fan of stuff that’s just boiled down to the most basic surface level shit at all

It can be fun to explore these things, but even then it takes more than just “haha funny nerd sex”

Anytime you explore a pairing of characters, I think it’s important to really delve into the dynamics of the relationship and extrapolate from their canon personalities.

Feels like so many people miss that, and it kinda sucks 💀

Ah okay that's for the clarification really! Say do you have any ocs?

I have a lot of OCs actually!!

However, I’m very averse to sharing them.

My current world and OCs that belong to it, I created them during the pandemic, when my mental health was at an all time low. Their creation was a means of catharsis and a way to help explore the messy emotions I was feeling. So they’re very very personal to me.

I already have a lot of problems with trusting people, so this is an extension of that. I fear that in sharing my characters, people will use the vulnerabilities they display to hurt me, or do something weird with my characters who mean so much to me. Either way, it’s severely upsetting.

So for that reason, knowledge of my OCs is only shared with people who I open up to and start to trust a bit more. A lot of my current friends, even if it’s indirectly, have helped me to work through my trust problems and come out of my shell.

If I overcome that hurdle, perhaps there is a chance I will share them on social media, but as it stands, that chance is incredibly slim. So I wouldn’t count on it haha.
