I've got a whole guide on how/where to read Senyuu in this post!! Basically you've just got several options since parts 1/2 have been done and redone a couple times. The anime finishes off at the end of part 1 so if you want to dive straight into part 2 without rereading all of part 1 that is an option too ^^

The entitlement of b*rchies is unreal why are they surprised their ship are just bffs in the 50s it’s more then they were the entire show. Wouldn’t be shocked if they’re purely bffs the rest of the season it’s not like they’re popular anyways

Oh it’s insane. I was saying recently to @middleagedresidentofriverdale and saying basically why are they upset, they hear they get scenes, they hear that BA is one of the couples in 703 (though I do suspect that's the or/gy scene and their participation is more of a part in a group project, so to speak) but shouldn't that buoy them a bit?

And she wisely pointed out that unless BAs get every single thing on their extensive checklist, up to and including a total erasure of BH, nothing is going to satisfy them. Which is just....wow.

What did you think about episode 4? I wanted to like the last season because it would give a season 1 kinda buzz but so far it falls flat which is a disappointment. Don't get me wrong I think Varchie had some cute scenes and I am sure more will come but it's just feels like a waste to just mix and match pairings we know will lead no where and it's not until we're back in real time Riverdale the stakes are on.

I do think Cheryl having to tell Archie it's Betty for him and to write her a poem is not really the flex B*rchies think it is so in the long haul it could be a good sign for Varchie to try again in this timeline. Even if both Archie and Veronica (now with Jughead) will be busy with other people for some time.

didn't watch and don't intend to (ill catch the jeronica scenes later) but nothing i've heard made me concerned because really? you got him willingly and on his own writing a poem to veronica and then after she hurt him and he thought she might be too much for him, he wants to go and run away with cheryl but had to be told by her that maybe the girl for him is next door and that he should write her a poem too? pls i don't know, if this was my ship id be upset. especially cause apparently b also didn't break through him to make him change his mind about running away/marrying cheryl so like.. uh? also why california?

im not saying any of this is great for varchie but it still didn't change my mind about our chances and i don't know, the writing for the other ship is always so questionable that im just like am i crazy because what is this dhsjjsd c'mon.

( the anon about T*bitha of last time) I agree that they should have giving her less scenes. Or at least had take Archie scenes out not Veronica, we don't need two "straight man" on the show. Also taking a poc screentime to give to another is not the right move if you want to "make things right" this time around.

Or they could even inclined more into her being a supernatural being and not her involved with Jughead bc for more that b*rchies try to make j*bitha a thing and fabricates a popularity that doesn't exist most people don't care about them. I am speaking as someone that is more out of the fandom i see it. They get almost no feedback for the audience and i think a lot of what make jughead a character was washed out to make them a thing, he is so codependent on her to basic stuff and he is such a dorment, what he never was. And you don't do that with probably the most popular character of your show. I wonder if was the actress completely decision to get out for most part of the season or RAS saw how much he fucked up with this dinamic.

Oh in all ways they screwed this up, anon. They COULD have made her much more popular. They didn’t.

I actually don’t think they intended her to have as many scenes as she ended up having, but things changed and they had to bump her up. And it’s so ironic because you’d think as an actor that would be a good thing but it damned her, anon. I am not claiming this to be Erinn’s fault but the label “the character everyone hated on a show that sunk to the lowest rated show on the CW” is not a label an actor particularly wants to have, so I would not be in any way shocked if she actually asked to leave.

There’s every possibility that her situation would have gotten worse or at least not any better so better to cut the losses now.
