I started reading about Elder Scrolls lore yesterday (as you do). I still have no idea what's going on. Some god destroyed the original version of reality and another pieced it back together? The British are half-elf now? The moons are the corpses of gods??

I just wanna quickly make a note - for anyone who comes across fandom sims I've made and would like a download to them, please feel free to send me an ask about them!

It will have to be off-anon, so that I can reply privately, and I can't 100% guarantee the older ones will be without issues from lost CC (I have my old CC in an archive, but that's still no guarantee), but I'm always so happy to know someone wants to use silly nerdy shit I've made!

The only reason none of them have a public download link is that I don't wanna track down anywhere from 20-50 different TOUs, or have to manually link to half of them in a post. And that's not even getting into any of them that include lost CC that I can't find information on....

happy for anyone for whom the klinger character resonates with wrt their individual experience with gender and sexuality - that's all yours and no one can take it from you. however, that does not minimize the fact that they got him past network censors by playing into the transmisogynistic "man in a dress" trope, that he canonically refuses a blue discharge and that for every instance where he's taken seriously by the narrative, there's at least two other instances where he's punched down upon.

it's not an attack on anyone's personal attachment to him or to MASH to publicly criticize the show's shortcomings. you can block and filter accordingly if you want to avoid anything that isn't a 24/7 lovefest for x thing, because that's not what fandom is to everyone. there's reasons to watch MASH beyond how it resonates with the current generation of fans.

I think it’s pretty observable especially on this app that certain people learned about BDSM as teens but didn’t fully conceptualise how that affected their world view so we still have people on here saying “(X) is such a bottom” and their concept of what a bottom is comes from BDSM terminology not anything from gay history. But then given half the chance will still separate themselves from any kind of kink association because “they’re not weird”.
