this one is a compilation of all his lesson voice lines and animations (except alchemy, because he hasn't been on the schedule yet) and here's one of his personal story + album profile + duo lines -- there may be better videos out there that have everything all nicely together, but these are the first ones I found that didn't have commentary/reactions!

Thinking about Mass Effect, as you do, and how I'm kind of sad that the way it's been engraved in pop culture has more to do with the way internet reacted to it at the time than what the actual game is about. Yes sure, it's about romance (and not that much all things considered) and it's pulpy (but not solely because of hot lady aliens), but it's also intricate worldbuilding that touches on a lot of sharp ideas, and a complicated tug-of-war between a genuine and vulnerable belief in reconciliation and community VS post 9-11 US military propaganda and steadfast belief in heroic exceptionalism, and the melancholic yet energizing mood, and the daring narrative systems, and so so much more than the 'We'll Bang OKs" and the "There's No Shepard Without Vakarian" and the whole ME3 ending situation

It's all there, but I'm sad the impact of the series is often reduced to (what I think is) the least interesting parts of its sum

i saw my first albatross today and they invoked such a visceral reaction in me. i was already crying because i was miserable and nauseous and had just thrown up and then these huge wings swept past the horizon and circled closer, closer, closer and i was just struck by the beauty of the world and the sheer size and grace of them and it was like staring into the face of g-d. all i could do was say "they're so beautiful" and break down in tears even further.

Sunngifu/Lödwyn being Extremely Hinged about each other behind the readmore (+ canon-typical violence and body horror)

Lödwyn carries a splinter of living wood from Sunngifu’s face around with her. Sunny has a fragment of Lödwyn’s rib in her belt pouch (rising from the dead didn’t get rid of the hole Maia’s arquebus left). They’re OVER each other, nothing to see here.

Dream Land AU: Her name

I know I have mentioned this before, and it's also kind of obvious, but Amy kept her name in this AU.

The only issue is that after her first heroic feat, everyone started calling her "Kirby" bc one of the kids she saved was not able to pronounce her name and called her that first.

The name became popular just as the use of her true name was rare to hear, mostly by Big or even Maria sometimes. She finally stopped trying to correct people after a while (and she even managed to let go the fact that the knucklehead of King Dedede using that name to challenge her to fight was one of the main reasons for that name spreading around...)

And when certain winged hedgehog woke her up one day wanting to fight and got surprised by noticing at the start that "Kirby" was actually a pink hedgehog girl, she got so annoyed that she finished the fight merciless (she sent the blue guy back home with a broken mask and so "angry" his face got all red).

Amy may have gotten used to be called Kirby, but she actually was not that fond of the name.

Then the same blue hedgehog kept appearing over and over, sometimes to help and sometimes to cause problems, he was around enough to get to know his supposed name: Meta Knight.

One day, the winged knight sent with a little fox called Tails, one with a blue Bandana, a cake and a note.

Amy found the note quite weird, but the cake was good, so she let it go (also because like 30 minutes after the cake was stolen by a gang of 'mouses' but that's for later). Too bad that the "Miss Kirby" name didn't disappeared just like the blue hedgehog.

She understood that he wanted to be polite, but adding a "Miss" to the name she didn't ask for was not something she liked more. But, neither she had the chance or wanted to discuss it with the knight, and by the time they became friends she was already used to the way of speaking of the masked hedgehog.

And it would have been the same forever if not for the day Popstar turned into a robotized planet.

The very same day the guy who always called her "Miss Kirby" would face her with a weird mask, and metal spikes that emerged from a machine connected to his robotized body.

And it pierced her somewhere in her chest when his 'friend', her Knight, who used to call her with a soft tone, pronounced in a robotic voice.

Roxas: Had the Halloween town kids throw bombs in his face for multiple missions in a row before finally breaking down and smacking them around a bit.

Ventus: The dwarves were rude and refused to talk to him, immediately resorted to chasing them down and whacking them.

Characterization I see frequently: Ah, yes, Roxas is the one always willing to throw hands and Ventus is a smol sunshine boy.
