Hm I want to add more mundane horror into my writing
#personal#like#hm#the horror of being a servant in castle dimitrescu and seeing giant scars on someone barely 19#and she isnt the only one#the banal horror of having to taste test the food#knowing something is wrong with it but the kitchen staff provide the only kindness they can by not telling you#talking with a maid one day snd finding out the next she doesnt have a tongue the next#realising some of the leather used for the books arent cattle leather#finding teeth where youre cleaning and then realising with horror that theyre the ones youre missing#anyway
