Oh, and if they could bring coffee too 😂 Once the pain killers kick in my intention today is to finish the grandkids room. You all must be sick of hearing about it and expecting great things. But, the reality is it has just taken me ages to complete because of my back. It's a pretty average kids room that has given me something to focus on in lockdown. This is one of my favourite features in the Grandkids room. It's so simple, but it's the fact it shows that real life kids my grandkids stay here.

As you all know apart from my little Angel in Heaven I have been unable to have kids. I love these two and would give them anything, but it still doesn't come close to filling the void of not having my son with me.

When I was trying to find a way to get peace with this fact, lots of people basically spoke shite to me, to try and make me feel better. Sorry guys, I appreciated, but you did 😂

But the one piece of advice/comfort that dumbfounded me was from a Doctor, who might I add was a female.

She basically told me she had patients who couldn't have kids, but eventually something terrible happened to a family member and they got custody of the kids!

I looked at her in shock, this was an educated woman giving me this supposed hope, that translated in mind that I should be hoping for someone's misery to bring me joy?!

Sorry even in my desperate depression I could see this was RIDICULOUS, and something I never would want.

What is the most ridiculous thing that has been said to you by someone who should know better?
