I'll leave this here, it's been a long time since I last published a drawing, but many things happened, basically my computer broke down due to a flood and it took me a long time to stabilize my home and replace material things. These drawings are not recent, they were supposed to be part of several drawings of the recoms having physical conditioning or practicing some sport (an excuse to draw them in shorts or sport clothes). I don't like to share sketches or incomplete things so for now I will only publish these three. My mood and style have changed a bit so now I will try to draw other kind of situations and maybe more characters from the franchise. BYEEE

SPIDER HAS TWO DIFFERENT BOWS!!!

The one he wielded in the forest when he and his siblings got caught had yellow and blue weavings, decorated with hanging trinkets and had arrows with blue fletches. The bow in the ikran taming scene however is dark red, has a green grip, green fletched arrows and is much simpler in design.

It’s insane to think just how trusting Quaritch was of him to allow Socorro to make a completely new weapon, to allow the kid to arm himself and not only that; it’s a longbow. You need hella strength just to pull back the string, and holding it for too long can really damage your fingers, which speaks volumes about the kid’s archery skills. The arrows are also impressively long, which explains why he only has two. Can’t have Spider trying his chances and taking down a recom can we? 🤣

Notes: I thought drawing Lyle would be fun and a good rendering challenge, I had a little panic because I underestimated him (his facial features were difficult for me, even using exact references), but I don't regret it. 😂
