GOOD AFTERNOON, LIKERS!!! Long time #no see. But that's okay...I will get caught up post-#Thanksgiving eventually. For now, I have only one question.

What are you reading on this fine #thursday?

For me...it was back to Pierce Brown's LIGHTBRINGER. #book 6 in his #RedRising series. You know...the book I waited years to come out, only for it to come out in July this year, and then...nothing from me. LOL!!!

I was happy to report that progress had been made. In fact, I was sloooowly approaching page 200. Yay for progress!!!

As for the story...I admit that it had been slow starting. It could be that the POV characters had to set up first. And of course there's that one POV character that I know A LOT of fans hate. And I hate him, too. LOL!!! And darn it if Pierce isn't doing enough good writing for me to feel some sympathy for that hated character. A little bit. I still hate him. LMAO!!!

Descriptions were still tight. Action so far has been exquisite. And of course, these books would be nothing without those interpersonal scenes between friends who truly have seen it all...even if 'it all' was a dystopian sci-fi world that was at war from all sides.

I could still put it down, but I know that I was feeling it again. A need. An urge. To see what happened next. If it was #Truly a Pierce Brown book, I knew that it meant that it would turn into a page-turner soon enough. I take #signs as I get them.

★ What format are your current reads? Happy #ShelfieSunday, bookworms! I’m doing a reread of Throne of Glass, and listening to the audiobook of it (today is the 10th Anniversary of the US release!). I’m also reading the ebook of Reign of Night (almost finished!) and beta reading Sarah M. Cradit’ s The Melody and the Master (sooo good!). Actually, I’m also in the middle of two other ebooks I just remembered.
