do yall ever think that the reason branch was so in sync with the reggaeton and kpop trolls was because the last time he was in a band (brozone) and the choreography was changed his brothers left him because they failed or are u normal
thinking about writing a punkflower fic where Miles invites Hobie to one of his primas quinceañera (and miles is undoubtedly a good dancer after years of his mom making him dance at parties with her cause his father can’t dance for the life of him!) and once mujeriego comes on he drags Hobie onto the dance floor!!
Hello, It's been a while. I'm back with some art for the Bounty Hunter Branch au.
I was asked a while ago about interactions between the other bounty hunters and Branch, so I drew some.
Now, I'm going to Info dump about The Bounty Hunter's relationship with Branch.
Hickory: When he first saw Branch, he thought Branch was some small kid who got lost. When he found out about Branch being one of the new bounty hunters, he was heartbroken. How can a kid so little do such a dangerous job? Where was his parents? Where does he live? Why is he out here alone? Why is he gray? All these questions plagued his mind, so from that day onward, he was determined to befriend his stubborn kid.
Dickory: At First, he didn’t care about Branch. He was just some little kid trying to get himself killed, but then, over the years, he heard about how the grey hunter would take out his targets with ease. He was as quick as lighting and quiet as a mouse. No one could catch him. It was like he was invisible. After that, Dickory didn’t trust Branch. Saying he's hiding something.
K-Pop Gang: They are very curious about the lonely teenager. They are also worried about him being gray, but they don’t ask because the last time when Hickory asked, Branch yelled and almost got into a fight with him, and no one saw him for two weeks after that. It also doesn’t help that Branch doesn’t like music and cuts off the radio when he walks into The Milkshake Bar. It makes it hard to connect with him. But that doesn’t stop them. They will try to befriend him no matter what.
Tresillo: He didn’t know about Branch until he saw him collecting a bounty. He had never seen anything like it, a fog that makes trolls fall asleep. When he woke up after the fog knocked him out, he saw the village was fine, but the mayor was missing, and no one knew where he went. He felt better that no one else was hurt. But, after that, he became wary of Branch.
Marimba and Tambora: They don’t think anything of Branch. But they know Tresillo is uneasy around him, so they are also wary of Branch.
Chaz: He never seen Branch but knows of him. He stays clear of him.
No but can you just imagine K-pop/ reggaeton branch just taking shit about his brothers in front of them in Korean/Spanish with his found family (What do you think they would say?)
Also how would Branch do bounty hunter work with the K-pop and Reggaeton trolls?
I think even funnier than them actually talking shit is them pretending to.
Tresillo, in spanish: Branch, look over at Bruce.
Branch, in spanish: okay?
Tresillo, in spanish: now back at me... Yep that should bug him.
Branch, in spanish: *laughing* He's going to think you said something
Tresillo, in spanish: That's the plan
Bruce: Hey for us who don't understand, what's so funny?
Branch: Nothing
Bruce: I know he said something about me
Wani: *points at clay*
Wani, in Korean: Pointing at you.
Clay: I'm a licensed CPA, whatever you called me, take it back
Branch: she didn't call you anything, Clay.
Clay: She pointed right at me!
Gomdori, in Korean: Also pointing at you.
Clay: TAKE IT BACK
I think Branch would shadow them for a bit before joining in any real bounty hunting. Maybe do a few missions not related to capturing a person. I think Reggaeton or Kpop gang would pick some lower threat targets just for Branch, just in case.
Rule number one of bounty hunting: Always overestimate your targets. It's a lot safer to, after all is said and done, think to yourself 'that was easy' than to be lying on the ground thinking 'that was harder than I expected'.
