Does anyone miss the energy from season 1 of Umbrella Academy? Don’t get me wrong, season 2 and 3 are amazing in their own ways, but I just miss the grungy vibes of S1.

You know something I’d love and hate to see next season?

Klaus changing his beard.

That he will change his hairstile is obvious, he’s done it already, but his beard? nah

Like, can we talk about his beard?

He is the only character that we’ve ever seen in the show getting it done. and who does it? Reggie. Where? At the void.

And not only at the void is my point, but have you guys watched sweeney todd? That thing he uses is a deadly weapon and Klaus trusts Reggie to do his beard. 

Does he tell Reggie that he was cruel and a shitty father and stuff? Yes, but he still trusts his neck and face to that guy to shape his beard. He trusts that he is safe there somehow. Klaus does not act like his father is a god or a monster, he treats Reggie like a person like himself. Klaus speaks with “disrespect” towards his father because he speaks with him man to man, equals, that’s his way to try and take Reggies influence off him.

Again, Reggie shapes his beard.

The only other character who wears a simmilar beardstyle to Klaus is Reggie, who shapes his beard. Who Klaus let shape his beard. Who Klaus trusted to shape his beard.

Klaus had many styles through the seasons, but his version of his father’s beard was always there, always on his face. Always.

I really want to see him with a different style because of that. I really want to see it.

And at the same time I’m already mourning his adorable little beard that suits him very well.

Season 3 Reggie saying he was so put off he didn't adopt the Umbrellas...

Firstly, how would he know which baby would grow up to be which adult? It's not as if, when they met in 1963, they gave him enough info about their mothers because they didn't know themselves. The only way he could have made sure not to adopt them would have been to somehow test the baby's individual abiities.

But, far more importantly, their mothers died in 1989 before giving birth to them, so the Umbrellas never existed, and therefore couldn't be adopted.

So, intentional = Reggie screening the babies and selecting them that way.

Unintentional = Reggie got lucky, perhaps planned to deal with an Umbrella or two if they were in the 7 (he might not have realised the mothers' deaths were related, as there were more than just the 6 who died, and putting Marigold particals in humans is bound to do strange things).

No matter what, though, Reggie was being a completely and utter prick in that moment. Hammering home the 'I didn't want you' was completely unnecessary. It was an opportunity to be nasty, and he took it.

Can we talk about how the afterlife gets more and more colorful as Klaus becomes more and more in control of his powers? Cause that’s BRILLIANT filmmaking right there
