I have been relatively quiet on social media this year. I have been doing lots of inner work and self healing. Channeling the bear taking time to hibernate for the winter. Here is a rant of things on my mind today. I have been reflecting on peace a lot lately. Sending prayers to Ukraine 🇺🇦 and out to all those suffering through the pandemic, grief, chronic illness and pain. There is a long list on my Reiki grid where I send out 🙏 Especially these last couple years peace has been hard to find for many. At times I have struggled with finding peace in today’s world. This is why it is so important to have a self care practice whatever it may be. Taking the time to find inner peace so that no matter what happens in the world you can stay grounded in who you are. I think this is what it means to be a light worker. To shine the light through the darkness. To be a beacon of light and support for others who may be going through hard times. I always find my light in nature like superman I recharging with the sun. Getting that vitamin D is key living in New england. It has been a long harsh winter but spring is on its way. There are signs all around us. I look forward to the changes and shifting my life to being more outside than in. Even though this year has not started how I had planned and there have been many challenges I am excited and hopeful for all that is to come. Seeing all that is happening in the world I feel gratitude for all that I have and any challenges seem insignificant in comparison. We are all just tiny specks in this universe, here for a short time. What do we do with the time that we have? How can we help others find peace in this world? These are the questions I ask myself everyday. With rockets crashing on the moon and bombs dropping on a country filled with innocent people it may seem there is nothing we can do. But start small do what you can to make a difference and whatever it is, it is enough. You are enough. You are worthy. You are healed. Know that I am sending love to you all. There once was a time when I hid behind people and things. I saw so much greatness around me and I felt so small. I noticed how powerful people were and never felt I could ever match up. I felt a little safer in intimate settings but even so, held myself back. Many people could feel the depth in my being but I still hadn’t caught up to it. Although I would reveal myself little by littleI I still felt I would be judged and shamed for being me, or for not being enough of something or too much of another another thing. I worried about how my beliefs would be interpreted and how that would effect others perceptions of me. I worried about sharing what I’ve been through. So I kept hiding and boy was this work in itself. I was stunting my life with limiting belief systems, and putting others needs before mine. Can we say people pleaser? 🙋🏽‍♀️ Does this sound familiar to anybody else? What changed? Well I remembered who I am. And I began getting used to being the weird one, and having different ideals. This became my norm, instead of expecting people to understand me and accept me for who I am. I accepted myself and with that accepted whatever came with it. I was ok with those who chose to filter themselves out of my life. I was finally ok with expressing myself authentically. In essence I was ok with me💁🏽‍♀️ Now I’m kinda in your face about Energy & my role as an Energy Facilitator. And oh it feels good. Take it or leave it. I respect you for going with your gut & if you do decide to ride with me let’s continue to vibe out. That’s the take away!
