huh so that pic was taken on the 12th of june, 2010, at 7:22pm. but maybe most likely the date was set wrong. or, the uploader happened to put it on wikipedia almost a year after it was originally taken.

Note
Discord automatically removes metadata so unless the person who originally made the screenshots sent them to you directly through another service it's not possible you have the accurate metadata fyi
not via exif data/viewer ontop of the private investigator database. discord only strips some metadata from images that have been compressed or resized.

Number 15: Splat Burger foot lettuce.
The last thing you'd want in your Splat Burger burger is someone's foot fungus. But as it turns out, that might be what you get. A Mobian uploaded a photo anonymously to Tumblr showcasing his feet in a plastic bin of lettuce. With the statement: "This is the lettuce you eat at Splat Burger." Admittedly, he had shoes on. But that's even worse. The post went live at 11:38 PM on July 16, and a mere 20 minutes later, the Splat Burger in question was alerted to the rogue employee. At least, I hope he's rogue. How did it happen? Well, the SB employee hadn't removed the Exif data from the uploaded photo, which suggested the culprit was somewhere in Northern Mobius. This was at 11:47. Three minutes later at 11:50, the Splat Burger branch address was posted with wishes of happy unemployment. 5 minutes later, the news station was contacted by another Mobian. And three minutes later, at 11:58, a link was posted: SB’s "Tell us about us" online forum. The foot photo, otherwise known as exhibit A, was attached. Mobius Scene Magazine contacted the SB in question the next day. When questioned, the breakfast shift manager said "Oh, I know who that is. He's getting fired." Mystery solved, by Tumblr. Now we can all go back to eating our fast food in peace.

This is the person who just did their first lift, I totally forgot to ask but, do you have any tips for new lifters ^^
of course! and congrats!!!
new l!fting tip #1: tumblr 101
no tags!!! do not tag ur posts, it makes it easier for non-l!fters to find and report l!fters
censor out brands and l!fting terms!! such as dn@, 3B, etc. (dn@ is did not arrive and 3B is empty box!!! different l!fting methods)
never ever put any defining objects in your photos if you are gonna post! make sure its the haul and ONLY the haul.
remove exif data from your photos so they can’t be traced, personally i dont do think bc im lazy but you should!
don’t put your total in your bio! i used to do this bc i liked to tell ppl i saved $20k-$30k over the year but it’s not smart to flaunt that you’re over the felony limit!
next, #2: how to lyft
so you’ve already completed your first lyft (woohoo proud of u!!) but how can you go about being safer and smarter?
my first tip is always scan the school for cameras! be sneaky tho don’t like just stare at the ceiling, but yk get a feel for how many cameras, what type, and what direction they’re facing. most places are gonna have the dome cameras, those are the worst because they see in every direction. always always try to body block if possible. either get someone else to block you or duck behind something while you’re concealing. better to not be caught on cam!!
nobody in that store is your friend, remember that. always assume that customers are plain clothes LP (disguised security) and always assume that sales associates WILL rat you out. don’t think “oh well it’s just me and one other person in the aisle it’ll be fine” because it’s gonna be the one time it’s not fine.
on that note, be kind to everyone. this isn’t just a lyfting tip it’s a rule i live by but just be kind. they’re gonna suspect you much less if you smile and answer questions and compliment them if you feel so inclined, just be a nice person. i believe this is one of the reasons i’ve never been caught, i’m just very friendly.
concealing!!! where to conceal? i personally like using my bag most often. your bag is important too!!! i use one off amazon (you can type like kawaii heart school bag and it’ll pop up, its black and has a big heart cut out for pins) but i dont have any pins because i dont want it to be too identifiable. its purse enough for people not to tell me to take it off (a lot of places don’t allow backpacks) but big enough to fit a LOT of stuff. structured bags are always a good idea too! that way people won’t be able to tell if you’ve put anything in there. i like to conceal in aisles without cameras most often, but if i have to body block sometimes i’ll put stuff up my sleeves first! another idea is to use a shopping bag from another store. this way people will think you’ve just already bought stuff! the target ones are my favorite since they’re opaque<3
onto the next section, #3: all about tags
de-tagging is definitely a more experienced lyfting practice but you can definitely start with rfids!!
rfids are gonna be the little metal wires in plastic, paper, or sticker tags. these are very common and you’ll see them at places like w4lmart or t4rget. these are easily removable by either cutting them off or disabling them with a magnet. you don’t NEED any tools while lyfting, but some of them can come in handy. if you do find yourself with a magnet, to disable rfids you just need to swipe your magnet against the tag. if you don’t have one, simply cut the metal wire in half. you can use scissors or nail clippers or cuticle nippers or whatever you might have!! if you can’t cut them, simply remove them and i personally stick the tag in the pocket of a really ugly item on clearance so that it hopefully goes unfound for a while!
hard tags! hard tags are any tag from the solid tags you find usually on clothes to spider tags you find on electronics or wire tags on jewelry at hot topic, etc. these all require tools to remove. some will require a magnet, others will require hooks, but it’s definitely worth looking into if you decide to branch out on your journey.
brief mention, #3.5: booster bags!
booster bags are small bags lined with many layers of foil to prevent signals from reaching the towers. just in case you didn’t know, towers are the tall sensors by the front door when you walk in! with a booster bag, you can put any kind of tagged item you want, zip it up, and walk out without beeping. you need many layers however!! the way to test if your bag works it by putting your cell phone in there and asking someone to call you. if the call goes through, there aren’t enough layers!! once the call doesn’t go through you’re set! this however is a more advanced trick so please be careful if you’re gonna try this!
lastly, #4 online “shopping”!
so you’ve heard of dn4ing or empty boxes, well lemme tell you what it all means! did not arrive is when you purchase an item, wait for it to arrive, and then message the carrier and tell them it never arrived. typically our goal here is to get a refund, but any times they wont be as easily persuaded and you’ll end up with a replacement instead. however it’s not impossible and many places are easier others. if you think you wanna try this, she!n or am4zon are a good place to start!! if she!n opens an investigation, it’s just a bluff, go with it!
empty box is another form of online lyfting, it’s when you tell the carrier that your item arrived with nothing in it. the process is similar to the first one, message the carrier etc. however just claim that it’s an empty box!
I HOPE ALL THESE TIPS HELPED PLS LET ME KNOW<333 LOVE YOU GUYS STAY HEALTHY AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES

Hi! I wanna create my own radblr/fem blog but I’m scared ppl I know will find it?
have any tips?
hey :) first of all, sorry for the late answer, I have been a bit busy for a while, but yeah
so I can just say the things that I do to keep safe:
get a separate Google Account for your tumblr
invent a totally new username for your tumblr and your Google account that doesn't give any clues about other usernames or your actual name and is ideally completely made up
enable multi-factor authentification on your new tumblr account
if you're especially worried, get a VPN for your account
so this is a bit of a difficult issue, but there is a balance to be had between sharing personal information to connect with others and withholding personal information to not get found. You should definitely think about what you share on here.
I personally only open this account on my PC. I can't access my tumblr account from my phone, so I don't send my account to anyone accidentally.
use an EXIF data remover to remove any information from your images
I would never open my account or any gender critical tumblr account in public
if you save images for your blog on your computer, you can name the folder something like program_data.3(v) or stw.setup.zt or something, so it looks like a system folder
The thing is that in the end, it is always possible that people in your personal life will find out. I personally have not posted anything that I wouldn't be able to defend in real life, and the most important people in my life know about my blog.

Protection for the Digital Witch: Image Metadata
Just about every image posted online, taken by your camera, or even screenshotted on your phone contains hidden data called metadata. Some of this information is useful, such as how big the image is or how image viewers should render the colors in it. Some of it may be more concerning such as the time the image was taken, where it was taken, where it is saved on your device, what device it was taken on, and more. Mobile phones in particular love to stick metadata on everything that passes through their galleries. While this makes storing and organizing photos a breeze, it can be dangerous to upload photos online when your address is attached to them.
This, of course, raises important questions about online safety and how to keep sensitive information hidden from internet strangers. While there's plenty of resources online about mundane reasons to scrub information from your photos, what can the digital witch take away from this?
Consider metadata as a taglock. Taglocks in witchcraft are footholds for magic to jump from one practitioner's spelltable to another's and they aren't always used for blessings. Anything from a strand of hair to a name to an item you once owned could serve as a taglock and the closer the item is to you, the better. Imagine how powerful a photo of you or your space could be if it also happened to include your location, the time it was taken, and where it was saved on your phone before it hit your blog!
On the flip side, this information can be brandished for good. Photos of meaningful places during fortuitous astrological timing may serve as particularly protective wallpapers. Witches can attach hidden spells or information via image editing tools such as Gimp or Photoshop to their images.
If you work often in digital spaces, keep in mind what information your photos may have and how you can use it to keep yourself safe and explore new mediums for your work!
How to Prevent or Remove Metadata from Photos
Disable Geotagging in your device's settings.
Do a quick Google search to see if your computer or model of phone provides this option!
2. Use a third-party app designed to remove metadata. I recommend an open-source and locally downloaded app like ExifCleaner for PCs or Scrambled Exif for Android. Be wary of third party apps that require you to upload your image to their website, serve you questionable ads, or collect information on you. The goal is to protect your privacy after all!

Some quick reminders for folks who grew up with social media and have that as a big part of their lives, AND are going to be living in the US for the next 3 years and 11 months.
Don't talk to government officials (local or federal) without a warrant.
Whenever possible, protect people that are being targeted by government personnel. Record arrests or 'stops', or consciously step in front of an oncoming confrontation and go into either Auld High Nonsensical or Full Karen modes. If you have the knowledge to do so, challenge the folks heading for a confrontation before they get to and can start that confrontation. (Ask what they're doing, ask if they have the proper warrant / authority, et cetera.)
Don't post photos from protests unless you know how to take photos in such a way that no individuals are identifyable, AND you know how to thoroughly remove EXIF data.
Don't post detailed information anywhere online about where you were and when. It can and will be used against you. Even platforms that are not owned by the higher-profile oligarchs (FB, Twitter, IG, YT, Reddit) can and will be read by people who do not have your best interests at heart.
When you protest, be safe. Don't take your cell phone or tablet, wear a hat or scarf if you have easily identifiable features, wear monocolor clothing, and know where security cameras are so that you can look down, cover up, or both.
Don't use other peoples' names when speaking to or about them if you don't know everyone who could hear your conversaton.
When an unknown someone starts talking to you about the protest, check their shoes. Undercover federal agents, military and paramilitary folks, and police officers may be wearing very distinctive shoes, even if they're otherwise dressed like any other protester. Don't try to bullshit them, just...don't engage.
Be aware of people who want to start throwing things. They may be agitators from other cities. They may be plants. Or (more importantly) the group organizing a given protest may intend for that particular gathering to be nonviolent. While I'm (sadly) sure that there may come a time for less polite / more forceful communications, let your voice be part of a unified, conscious effort.
If you can, coordinate with local folks and be there when protesters are released from custody. Being held even for 6 hours - let alone a few days - is frightening even when we aren't teetering on the brink of fascism, and releases usually happen late at night / early in the morning to further demoralize folks who have been released. (The thinking is that no one will be there, most people feel less confident in a city after dark than in full daylight, demoralize people enough and they'll stop protesting.) Take water, some snacks, a blanket or jacket or umbrella in inclement weather, be prepared to give the people/person a warm welcome and emotional support. Hug, sing songs, play music. Celebrate them getting out. Remind them and police that these people have a community around them.
These can apply to folks who are in other countries also, but I know of so many people in the US that this is going to be their first big encounter with participating in civic discourse of any kind.
