Mary and James are the only popular ones of the lot and i will stand by that
#remus is kinda popular but not in the conventional sense#everyone likes him but in the way ppl like the friendly smart guy who helps with your homework and deals you drugs#but with mary and james its conveniental popularity where ppl want to be them and sort of despise them while also liking them#cause james is the nice rich good looking jock troublemaker#and mary is the nice good looking fashionable social one#regulus isnt popular cause only like 5 ppl like him but hes well known and respected but not popular#sirius would not be popular. at all. they're annoying and rude and disowned and wear 'womens clothes' (i love them<33) so very not popular#youd think marlene would be popular huh?? nope#marlene is literally robin buckley. the exact same. so not popular at all but best friends with popular ppl (james and mary)#marauders era#marauders#mary macdonald#james potter#also mary and james actively want ppl to like them and fear ppl not liking them so they try to be popular while the others dont
