i really like looking at the little detail sometimes and i noticed something from Monteago's FTE that sparked my interests.

in them it's revealed that the reason one of his dislikes is apologizing because of drama induced misinfo. this gives us two interesting bits of info- one; the likes/dislikes info is diegetic, and two; it can be wrong

in the canon games it's safe to say a large portion of the info on the reportcards are non diegetic- really only there for the player to get a better grasp on the character- as the cast never actually draw any direct attention to them. p;eg breaks this by having Damon actively use the info to help him navigate the FTE interactions, which is pretty neat but it gets interesting with Monteago's claims of the info being false.

we can't take the reportcards at face value here anymore like we could with the canon games; it's diegetic info that was dug up by Tozu, Mara, and anyone else who may be working behind the scenes, and as Monteago's unintentionally revelaed- they might not have been as thorough about fact checking it as we initally would assume. if they got so easily misinformed by drama on someone as open and well known as Monteago, it makes me wonder how accurate the others are- especially the ones who don't have the popularity for their info to just be laying around to find on a wiki

Explanation:

So in Germany (maybe in other countries too idk) every quarter year there's a parent conference where the grades or scores of each class were being told to one of the parents (both can come too if they can) and the student with the parent. And lately my grades were falling a LOT because I was and am a little quiet during class and Don't speak up.

But since it was a quarter year reportcard and not a half year reportcard, i still have time to fix my grades. And my mom knows that I rarely have VERY bad grades. The maximum bad grade or score I ever had on a report card is D. Never an F.

And recently me and my mom noticed that each time I'm overwhelmed or stressed, I either stare at a corner for a while and daydream or drown in my thoughts, or get stoma aches (because of my reflux illness) and sometimes it starts to hurt in my left chest (in the heart area)

I was very shocked when I realized my mom was calm about it. She usually either starts ranting and yells at me as if I'm a dog and tells me all sorts of bad stuff that hurts. I think she realized that yelling isn't the best solution...

Oh and yes my mom has VERY short hair because she shaves her head sometimes when her hair is starting to get in her way or fall out all over the place. No it's not cancer❤

The 2023 writing Advent calendar: Day 15

15. Party

“And we even made it on time!” Ambar was cheking her make-up in the car as Simon was driving. 

They were on their way to attend the 20th reunion of the 2017 class of Blake South College. Some bright mind in their class had had the bright idea to arragen it on a Friday in December with two weeks of notice. So, they had needed a babysitter and fast… which had been hard because this was for Ambar’s class, so everyone was going, so no one could baby sit and everyone needed a babysitter. 

Simon had offered that he’d just stay home with Ivory and Esme, but Ambar wanted him to come to the reunion with her. Half of the fun was introducing your spouse to anyone and everyone of the people you studied for four years but still didn’t know the ames of. 

Since they crew from Roller had been so tight—despide everything—Ambar had never really gotten to know the other people on her class, even when they had only been 25 of them. Everyone had known her, obviously, but she was relly hoping that theye would be name cards used. 

“There you are!” Luna jumped to hug Ambar and Simon as they walked into the Blakes aula. The reunion it self would be taing place at the cafeteria. She had been waiting for them with Matteo, Gastón and Nina. They had probably come together. “I was beginning to worry.”

“We got out of the house on time,” Ambar nodded, “Thankfully.”

“So, you got a babysitter?” Nina asked they started walking toward the cafeteria. 

“Yes, My cousin came into the rescue.” Simon nodded.

“Violetta and Leon are looking after the girls?” Gastón questioned. It was still bit surprising that he figured that so quiickly, given that Simon literally had thousand cousins, but he and Nina actually were good friends with Simon’s cousin and his wife. Violetta also was his boss’ daughter… well former boss now as German Castillo had just retired from the company citing health issues. 

“Yes, so tommorrow we will get to hear all about how they want to attend the Studio, and not highschool.” Simon laughed. 

“They are going to school,” Ambar rolled her eyes. 

“You could have just dropped them off at the mansion,” Luna piped up. “Mom and Dad wouldn’t have minded.”

“They have their hands full with yours.” Ambar responded. “I have no idea who thought it was a good idea to hold this on a Friday evening, with zero warning.”

“Yeah, it was annoying,” Gastón remarked, “But bough us a free weekend. I aksed Mom and Dad if they could take the kids from Friday to saturday morning, which just turned into the whole weekend. Why stop them they’re at it. Now that they don’t travel as much they are getting bored.” 

“You act like babysitting your kids is not a delight.”

“We still have no idea where all of you had gotten that impression from.” Gastón laughed. 

“Maybe from the fact that Oscar is already acing the second grade.” Matteo remarked, “They just don’t have the disruptive genes us non-scolars apparently carry.” 

“We wouldn’t know,” Nina responded, “I don’t think they give reportcards on first primary grades at Hoja. They didn’t lat year, which he was really disappointed about.”

“And Aurora for sure has at least few disruptive genes as you like to say. You just don’t notice that, because you aren’t around Firecracker 24/7.” 

“If you say so…” Matteo rolled his eyes as they stopped in front of the cafeteria door. There was a table next to the door, which had a sign that encouraged people to write themself a namecard.

“Thank goodness,” Ambar sighed, “I literally know no one’s names.”

“I don’t think any of us do,” Gastón shook his head too. “Pretty sure these are to help identify the dates of people… But helps us too.” 

“Do we put ones on as well?” Luna asked. 

“That’s the point,” Matteo nodded, “Last names and all. I am still so surprised by all the decoration. Blake was basically allergic to anything festive while we were there.”

“Well, lets go in.” Gastón pushed the cafeteria doors open and walked in with Nina on his arm. 

“Oh, thank goodness you’re here,” They were met with Delfi almost as soon as they got in, “Jazmin disappeared somewhere and I have zero idea who everyone else is…”

Delfi had been forced to come alone as both 2-year-old Olivia, and 5-year-old William had gotten the flue from their nursery, so Pedro had stayed home. 

Jazmin had also apparently come alone, even after swearing up and down about finding a date… Everyone trul hoped that she would find someone one day. 

Ramiro wasn’t coming at all, since he had travelled to Ireland for the holidays. 

“Ambar!!” Shortly after Delfi had joined them, a woman with a obviously blonde dyed hair aprached them. Her name tag read: Elmira Samale. Name Elmira sounded vagueldly similar. “Great to see you, you all.” 

“Great to see you too,” Delfi was the first to speak and offered her hand to an awkward handshake which Elmira took. Ambar followed suit… Weirdly Elmira didn’t make any gesture toward shaking either Gastón or Matteo’s hands. Instead, she started twirling her hairin fashion, which was extremely uncharacteristically for a woman in her late 30s.

“It’s especially great to see you boys.”

Matteo and Gastón exghmaged very confused looks. 

Ambar couldn’t fully believe it. Elmira, whoever she had been in highschool, was clearly one of those embarrassing achitypes that you usually met in class reunions. She wasn’t wearing a ring, so it was anyone guess, but Ambar’s money was on recently divorced who had decided to shoot her shot with the popular guys from her class in high school. 

“So… It’s been a while,” Ambar started. Luna had gotten distracted by the desert table and Nina had hug back for a moment to answer an text she had gotten from her agent so guys were on their own. Someone needed to save their skins “What do you do?”

“I’m a secretary, at a doctor’s office.” Elmira suddenly turned her eyes to Gastón, “ Were basically in the same field.” 

“I’m sorry…” He seemed to to be catching on Elmira’s flirty smile as he moved his left hand from his pocket to a much visiple location. His wedding band, especially the blue pattern was hard to miss, so it was not certain if Elmira was purposely not looking at that direction or was she embarrassing herself on purpose. “I’m not in medicide.” 

“Still a Doctor though,” Matteo remarked. 

“In a technicality, with the Ph.D.” Gastón rolled his eyes at Matteo. “I’m in construction, on the engineering side, mostly, teach at UCA at the side..”

“Well…” Elmira seemed to be scrambling around for something to say, “I meant scientific fields obviously… I love to hear about it more. You always were so smart.” She took a step forward. 

“Mereilla was freaking our about few meeting dates being changed,” Nina walked back up to them and the relief was visible on Gastón face. Obvious he would have no problems shutting Elmira down, if she would have been direct, which she wasn’t, so it was an extremely uncomfortable situation. “I told her that it didn’t matter an I know she can handle it. Who’s this?” 

She wrapped her arm around Gastón’s. Elmira’s fave visibly faltered, by the sight of her engagemet and wedding rings. 

“This is Elmira, one of our old classmates.” Gastón started saying, “My wife Nina.” 

“That’s… It’s great to meet you..” Elmira stumbled, “Sorry, I just… You look exctaky like the girlfriend he used to have when were all attending Blake together…”

Really? The second had embarrassment was strong here. Had they really all attended classes with these people for four years?

“Well, I didn’t know that your classmates took any notice of me,” Nina responded, she had clearly gotten the jist of the situation and leaned herself into Gastón’s shoulder and her wrapped his arm around her. “I’m the Blake class of 2018.”

“We went to Oxfrod together.” 

“Did I mention that your mom sent a message,” Nina continued, “They’re taking the kids to the amusement park tomorrow.”

“Yeah, I think Dad said something about it when I dropped them off.” 

“Well…” Elmira's face had turned very awkward all the sudden, “I think I see Jason over there, I should stay hi.”

“God that was awful,” Gastón shook his head before kissing Nina briefly, “I’m sorry.” 

“I still have no idea who se was,” Matteo sighed, “Or who Jason is… You know what, I’m gonna find Luna and stuff my face now before someone decided to hit on me next.”

We seriously never got to know anyone else at Blake outside of the Roller Crew. The most popular kids never hung out with anyone else, so obviously they don't remember them but they are remembered.

HCL Technologies shares jump 4% ahead of Q4 results 2025. What to expect from IT major’s earnings?

HCL Technologies’ share price rallied 3% in intraday deals on Monday, April 21, ahead of the announcement of the March 2025 quarter earnings slated to be released on Tuesday. Brokerages expect HCL Tech Q4 profit to rise nearly 9% while revenue could grow by 5–7% on a YoY basis.

HCL Tech Q4 preview: HCL Technologies’ share price rallied 3% in intraday deals on Monday, April 21, ahead of the announcement of the March 2025 quarter earnings, slated to be released on Tuesday.

After IT majors — Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys and Wipro — reported disappointing earnings for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024–25 (Q4 FY25), amid headwinds like global recession fears, demand uncertainty and tariffs imposed by the US government, all eyes are now on HCL Technologies’ Q4 reportcard to see if India’s third largest IT company follows suit or surprises on the positive side.

HCL Tech Q4 Results: Date and Time

HCL Technologies said it will announce the fourth quarter and annual FY25 results, ended March 31, 2025, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, post-closing of Indian stock markets.

“Following the results announcement, senior management of HCL Technologies will conduct audio conference call at 7:30 p.m. (IST) for 60 minutes to discuss the results followed by the detailed question-answer session,” HCL Tech said in a release on Wednesday.

HCL Tech Q4 Preview

Analysts expect HCL Technologies to post nearly 9% rise in the net profit for the March 2025 quarter while revenue is seen rising in the 5–7% range on a year-on-year (YoY) basis.

ICICI Securities sees an 8.9% rise in HCL Tech’s net profit in Q4 FY25 to ₹4,354.5 crore while the figure could decline by 5.2% from ₹4,592 crore posted in the previous quarter ended December 2024. The brokerage expects the revenue to rise 7.3% YoY to ₹30,573 crore. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, it could grow 2.3%.

“We build -0.2% USD/+0.2% CC QoQ revenue growth, in-line with QoQ growth implied by full year guidance of 4.5% to 5% for FY25. Q4 will include 2-month contribution from HPE acquisition of ~USD 40 million,” ICICI Securities said.

It further expects EBIT margin to decline by ~60bps QoQ to 16% led by seasonal weakness in products business and senior management wage hike.

Meanwhile, JM Financial sees a 8.7% jump in Q4 PAT to ₹4,332.6 crore whereas it sees the revenue growing by 5.2% YoY to ₹29,986.4 crore.

“We are building -0.75%/5.1%/-14% QoQ growth in IT Services/ERS/ Product & Platform business in USD terms. We have built USD 50 million contribution from CTG (part of ERS), which implies an incremental contribution of c.USD 32 million (90bps QoQ),” said the brokerage.

HCL Tech Share Price Trend

HCL Tech share price jumped over 4% in intraday deals ahead of the Q4 results tomorrow. The stock opened at ₹1,438.05, and extended gains to the day’s high of ₹1,498.90, up 4.23% over its previous close.

HCL Technologies shares have lost 17.01% in the last three months, however, it has risen 3.27% in the past one year. In the past five years, the IT major has delivered multibagger gains to the tune of 228.04% to its investors, shows BSE data.

As of 1.00 pm today, HCL Tech share price was trading at ₹1498.30 , up 4.19%.
