Hey, @taylorswift We’ve been together for a long time now (though maybe you don’t know that!), but I’ve been so lucky to have you as a role model since 2008! I heard Love Story on the radio and I’ve been hooked ever since. In 2009 my best friend at the time, Nick, surprised me with nosebleed tickets to see you for the Fearless tour at Key Arena, in Seattle! It was my first big concert and I was completely shocked with the ending rain song, Should’ve Said No! In 2011 I saw you at the Tacoma Dome (Seattle) with my mom’s friend’s daughter, Savanna, for Speak Now. Taylor Nation upgraded some girls, so they found us near the back, and upgraded us to their close, side view seats! What a dream that was! In 2013 you came back to the Tacoma Dome for the Red tour. Personally, I believe Red is a masterpiece! I went with my friend from work, Oak, and we made our own T-shirt’s! In 2015 you upgraded your stage to Century Link Field, in Seattle, for 1989! I had never had better seats, in the lower bowl. I went with three friends from work, Haily, Saul, and Gabby, and dressed up as a baker! I was a touch disappointed that I didn’t get chosen for Loft 89, because I had recently learned that you did that! I had been a fan for ages, but not active in the fandom at all on tumblr, and didn’t have a Twitter yet. Anyways, I had THE BEST time at 1989, you really outdid yourself. A few weeks after 1989 Seattle, you followed me on tumblr! I was so happy, I couldn’t believe it! You had met my friend Erica in Seattle and you also followed her on tumblr, and I was on a list she made for you of dedicated swifties to follow. I’ll forever be thankful that you clicked “follow” and most likely saw my icon as a picture of me in my baker costume for 1989. When reputation came out, I lost my damn mind! It was so different and good and different, I just couldn’t wait to hear it live! So when I heard on the radio that you were headlining Poptopia! in San Jose, I knew I HAD to get tickets! When I did, they were even better than my 1989 tickets in Seattle! I took my sister, Haley (who used to sing and dance along with me to Fearless when I drove her around in high school), and we seriously had the best time! I was completely in awe of you and your set of six songs. Now comes the recent part! For reputation I saw you in Glendale, Pasadena, and Seattle! For Glendale I went with my mom, aunt, grandma, and sister, and we all had custom shirts that I made. It was an absolute dream to be at the first show of tour! I bawled when you sang All Too Well and was in complete shock when you mashed up Should’ve Said No and Bad Blood! I had a baby Twitter account at this point and posted my family’s shirts, and was amazed that people were tweeting for us to meet you! This fandom is so kind. I had the privilege of seeing you twice in Pasadena! My sister, Haley, lives in LA, so that was a good excuse! I went with her, and her friend to night one, and bawled again when you played Red. Red is one of my all time favorites of yours, and I never thought I would hear it acoustic, so thank you so much for that. And what a surprise when you brought out Shawn Mendes! Night two in Pasadena was my first concert alone! I met up with some friends from Twitter though, which was so nice! It was also my first time on the floor at one of your shows! Omg, that was an insane show! All Too Well again for the surprise, and honestly, I was so close to the stage and you! I was right near the end of one of the catwalks, with no one in front of me! Wow, that’s the only way I want to experience a show from now on. I wish! Troye Sivan and Selena Gomez were there too?! Unreal. The last show for me was my hometown show, Seattle! I had floor seats again with my friends Catherine and Kevin! Kevin flew from Philadelphia to see you with us! We met some local swifties I had followed for a while, and they took us to the b-stage for Dress and Blank Space! I was front row, right when you sang Dress and just about died. And I loved hearing you sing Holy Ground that night! I was a bit sad after Seattle, because I really wanted to thank you for always being here for me, and it was my last show. But, a few weeks later, some swiftie friends that I had met in Pasadena, convinced me to come with them to Pittsburgh! I can’t believe I’m going to see you five times this tour! I am so thankful for what you have done for me, for what you have thought me, and for the friends you’ve brought into my life. I hope, one day, I can thank for for all this in person. Dear @taylorswift - Seven months have certainly flown by! These pics were taken on what was truly one of the best days of my life, when I finally got to see you live at Rep Tour Seattle! I really did have the time of my life with you, and I cannot wait to relive this tour over and over, starting tonight, through the Reputation Stadium Tour movie! Thank you so very much for this beautiful album, breathtaking tour, and, well, literally everything you do. Thank you 13 billion times for this movie! I can't wait! I'll see you in a couple hours! ♥

Dear @taylorswift

I almost didn’t write this, because revisiting last summer still makes my eyes sting with tears. But if there’s the tiniest chance you stumble upon our story, it would mean so much to us that just maybe you read it... l will start by saying I have been a huge fan of yours since 2007 and feel like I’ve literally grow up along side of you! I hang onto to your every word, every song, and your music has gotten me through every chapter of my life since I was 19.

Last year our family was expecting to welcome our little girl into the world in September, but my pregnancy derailed unexpectedly at only 28 weeks at the end of June. It was terrifying as I went to a routine prenatal appointment and was told I had to admit to the hospital right then and there. Our baby girl was born at 28 weeks and 6 days and only weighed about 2 pounds. Things got worse before they got better, for both of us, but eventually I was okay enough to be discharged from the hospital. Sawyer needed continuous breathing support. We couldn’t even wrap our minds around the journey ahead, it was really only the beginning.

Sawyer was in the NICU for 65 days and every day was a new roller coaster ride. Our home was 30 miles from the hospital, so each morning we had take turns doing the commute back and forth, at all hours of the day. By the time August rolled around, you had just started dropping hints of new music coming and I remember being SO excited to check Instagram each day and see what in the world was going on?! I had missed you SO MUCH. When you released LWYMMD, I remember the EXACT spot I was driving home in the car at 1 am, and the line “WHY? OH... CAUSE SHES DEAD” and I smiled so DAMN big, so damn big for the first time in I don’t know how long. Ahh the strength in that SONG. I was SO excited for what was to come.

Our biggest obstacle was teaching Sawyer how to drink from a bottle. Babies actually don’t develop that suckling instinct until near their due date, and she was still weeks away from hers. The only thing keeping us from getting to bring her home and starting to put the pieces of our family back together was that she had to drink all her bottles for 3 days in a row. Being like her mama, she liked to only do things on her own time, and most times would only finish bottles, slower than the allotted feed time, and it was usually only for me. The nurses tried so hard to help and constantly asked, what is your secret?? What can we do to help her finish bottles so you can get rest, and she can prove she’s ready to go home? And really I didn’t know at first, until I mentioned to a night nurse that I sang her your songs while I fed her, and it really seemed to work.

That night I cried all the way home. I felt helpless and exhausted and had no idea how I could keep up these commutes and days upon days with little sleep. I crawled into bed at 2 , and I got a text message with a picture of an empty bottle first thing in the morning, captioned “Look What You Made Me Do!” (pictured above!!!) from our witty little night nurse and from then on, the doctor actually put orders in her chart to sing Taylor Swift songs at feedings. And. It. Worked. Taylor. It. Worked. Every. Time. She. STANS. 😂

And she came home with us 3 DAYS later. And we’ve never looked back. She will be a year old this June!

Like every swiftie, I hope and pray you stumble upon our posts and see what you mean to us. Sawyer’s entire bedroom and wardrobe is of course inspired by you, and I’ve had a lot of fun making her outfits and sharing our pictures. You even LIKED one on of them in January (still/not/okay/omg).

This is the first year I’ve ever shared this much about myself online, but I’ve always been here. Cheering for you, bawling when you give speeches and win awards, memorizing every song and freaking out over every Easter egg.

The best part is, I get to see you in 10 short days now! I saved up and bought myself a pit ticket this tour!!! As a “treat yo self” cause I have been to every one of your tours but never been in pit before! I am so excited, I can’t handle it. My family and I are driving up as a little road trip from Oregon to Seattle so that I can go. And if you’re reading this, thank you. Thank you for being part of our family. Thank you for keeping me strong. Thank you for coming back. I don’t know where I’d be without you. Where our family would be without you.

See you soon friend, I’ll be screaming and dancing in the pit.
