basically, last summer, me and my friends planned to do this whole big project called "the summer record' which would be about our daily activities as college students living by ourselves. we never did it becayse loads of people left to their home countries except for me and A (idk if he wants his name public here just yet it's six am rn.)

recently, though? shit has been happening. shit like a hole in the backwoods strip behind me and my friend gwen's apartment complex that interacts with my 22 year old camera. and objects appearifying in my bathroom but that's not as important right now.

point is. I'm at my limit here. I've had chronic insomnia for years due to other complications (joints are a bitch) but never in my life has it been this bad.

maybe this blog can help? maybe someone can help me figure something out. my youtube and twitter are pinned if that's gonna help anything out.

if anything weird happens I'll upload any footage I have bc I film so much now.

long story short- im okay. spooked but completely fine. forgot to update that because i think the last post was me high as fuck craving a sandwich. sorry about that.

caught up with gwen while back in ireland, since we both travelled there at the dame time despite living in the same building, lol. (gwen is the 'penny', i mentioned in the bathroom video, who i called that because i didnt know if she wanted her name mentioned at the time) about the assuned bathroom prank. shes the only person i know to have a copy of my keys, so she would be the biggest contender for a prank like that.

and she knew nothing. so that kinda fuckin sucks.

she was worried about what I've been doing (and the lack of sleep, which has been getting better the longer im out of the apartment during the day, but thats besides the point), as well as the videos ive been posting on my tumblr and twitter. thinks its some kind of long prank on her which... isn't beyond my ability, ill admit.

im going to show her that weird hole by the canal soon. maybe it or the way my camera goes on the fritz can somehow convince her im not lying about everything.

i rarely record one of my favourite types of shots sadly. im a lynch fan, with eraserhead being my favourite film. i love when a factory or a set of powerlines are captured and you can hear the energy humming in them.

what i specify in though is the more dreamy kind of home video stuff. idk ive been doing it sice i was a kid so it feels natural. plus its kind of easy to do, anyone can do stuff like it if they have enough of an eye

the summer record started out as a project for me and my friends to make a sort of memento channel that we never really got around to. mostly because most of them went home for the summer and I stayed behind to work. hopefully this year we can finally stick to it.
