my fitbit app keeps deleting steps anywhere from like 200 to 1k of them which is making daddy jimmys Extremely Rustled bcs ive been good and hitting my goal day after day but then it says like 19862 steps instead of the good number and its bothering me.

if any filmmakers follow me for god's sake if you are on a project and you have control over this: get a good DIT. get a DIT with editing experience. get a DIT who knows how to create consistent and intuitive file structures and for the sanity of your editor(s) get a DIT who will do things right the first time so your editors won't have to redo all of that work because it was disorganized and done so badly they have to, for example, resync all the clips for an entire feature film because the proxies weren't set up properly

trying to get the album art to load on my ipod and idk if this'll work
#worst case scenario the like three albums where the art loads. don't anymore. but at least then it'll all be the same#read online somewhere that sometimes resyncing ur ipod can work. which could be the problem last time i synced this ipod to a computer#was like seven years ago and i don't have that laptop anymore#eh. again if this doesn't work at least it'll be all of them that is the problem (which is less annoying to me#than the situation rn)

#so anyways I got an ear filter for my recent capd diagnosis and then the first day I was in the zone for 5 hours straight.#still to early to tell if it was really the filter but I mean. I mean. I thought I was gonna crap out 4 hours ago.#actuallyautistic#actually autistic#actually adhd#actually capd#(central) auditory processing disorder#fun fact it’s an academic argument about whether it should be called capd or apd but it’s all the same thing#your neurons transfer the signals from your ears up to your brain at slightly different speeds#and so the audio signals you get are slightly desynced#what the filter does is physically slow down the sound as it travels thru one ear#thus resyncing the audio and reducing your subconscious load#fascinating stuff.

Due to an unfortunate incident I recently lost almost all of the 5th doctor fic I was working on. Don’t forget to back up ur writing kids especially if u use a means of writing that requires internet to function properly
#it’s a long story#basically I wrote in my notes app#then ran out of storage on my phone#also bc of circus life I had no internet for a while#resynced with iCloud#and the version of my notes that has been saved is from several months ago before it stopped backing it up to the cloud#like obviously more fool me for using it as a word processor in the first place#but yea I lost a lot of work and idk now if I’ll be able to complete those fics#the universal translator fic was the worst hit
