hey ray! i've been very sleep-deprived for the past week so hopefully his comes out semi-coherent.

YES! mickey is ABSOLUTELY so well taken care of. in general, ian loved being an emt and felt very fulfilled helping people so he jumps at the opportunity to use the skills he learned to tend to those he loves. but it goes beyond that when it comes to mickey. he knows mickey grew up very neglected. he had no one to take care of him when he would hurt himself or got sick growing up. little mickey had to tough all of it out on his own, alone in his room with no one to care for him or show him any love. it breaks ian's heart whenever he thinks about it.

because of this (and because he loves him man so much), ian lavishes mickey with care and attention anytime he gets even the smallest injury or is feeling the least bit sick. he goes overboard because he wants mickey to feel so loved and cared for. mickey burns his hand taking food out of the oven? slices his finger sifting through the mail? got a load of mosquito bites playing with franny in the backyard? ian is instantly whipping out his big ass first aid and tending to mickey, all gentle touches and forehead kisses.

don't even get me started on when mickey gets a cold. ian's in the kitchen cooking a giant pot of chicken soup. he's written out a medication schedule and is spooning cold medicine into mickey's mouth every four hours. he's coming in to bring mickey water and juice to make sure he's hydrated. he's rubbing vicks vaporub on mickey's chest to ease his coughing. he's set up a whole netflix queue with mickey's favorite shows and movies. he's lying in bed with mickey, stroking his hair and murmuring soft words to help him fall asleep.

you know mickey probably grumbles a little and half-heartedly complains that ian is overreacting or doing too much or that he doesn't need all that attention, but really he's basking in it and relishing the feeling of having someone love him that much and care so much about his well-being.

thanks for sending this ask and making me think about all this. i've been sitting here with a smile on my face the whole time writing this. really made my sunday evening.

It's very easy for Jervis to make his s/o laugh just by being his whimsical eccentric self. His silly clever rhymes, the way he easily can get a rise out of other Secret Six members, plus when he's being a flirty little tease.

Just about as often as he's reading a book...and the only time when he isn't reading...he's peeking over the edge of his book to stare at his s/o wrapped up in whatever it is there doing and just sighing blissfully knowing that they're his.

lmao i was worried someone was gonna pick this. i think i do a good job of understanding characters?? especially with some of my haikyuu writing of just creating fun dynamics. i just had fun with it and i think that translated well to what i wrote

i actually wanted to be a writer as a kid!! i have fanfic from when i was like,, 12 saved somewhere. i've just always had a wild imagination and needed an outlet, so writing was the most obvious one. i've been posting fanfic since i was like 13 or 14 and i always read fics for what i'm hyperfixating on so when i got into haikyuu i was like "yeah sure i'll do this"

ummmm probably a lot of nsfw tropes??? or kinda dark tropes like that? for anything else it's kinda just based on whether or not i'm inspired to write it

Jonathan's kisses are mostly short and sweet, but he does hope his kisses hold some weight as he makes the effort to kiss you more and not have you initiate them as much.

TNBA Scarecrow:

Jonathan's kisses are very...hesitant and uncertain...not that he doesn't want to kiss his partner...he just wants to do it right and ensure that his feelings are felt through his kisses despite how reluctant and short they may be.

💗 - How do they show affection?

BTAS Scarecrow:

Jon shows affection by opening up to his partner and sharing meaningful and intimate conversations, often showing his appreciation for his partner by lending their ear with a soft peck to the cheek or temple.

TNBA Scarecrow:

Jonathan shows affection by always ensuring the safety of his significant other, and checking that all their needs are met. He isn't always around so Jonathan constantly goes above and beyond for his partner. If you need him to do a chore or ask him a favor he's on top of it.

💖 - Do they like PDA or are they a private person?

Both BTAS and TNBA Scarecrows are very private partners. They both aren't too familiar with romantic relationships and they wouldn't like their coyness to be shown--the Master of Fear is never shy...you know?
