It's officially Eurovision week and today was the semi-finals round 1 jury show.
I felt it was a foregone conclusion that Italy's act Mahmood & BLANCO would get to the semi-finals but they sounded rough at the rehearsals (I will blame it on the fact that they are both on tour and are tired) and just a smidge better at the jury show. Also, their staging isn't great. I hope they make it.
If not, my support moves to Slovenia's act LPS.
While the countries are readying to face their Eurovision fates, last year's winners Måneskin are readying a new single: Supermodel, for release on May 13th.

Continuing the tradition from my old blog (which has been unceremoniously deleted by tumblr without much of an explanation why) I’m doing daily posts during June to celebrate LGBTQIA+ pride by showcasing openly LGBTQIA+ celebrities and various content about or created by LGBTQIA+ people such as music videos, characters on TV shows, movie trailers, …
Italian music stars Mahmood & BLANCO with their song ‘Brividi’!🌬🌊
It is always exciting to see Italian entries, as the Sanremo selected songs always end up pretty high on the final board. This time we are expecting the silver winner of the Eurovision 2019 – Mahmood teamed up with Riccardo Fabbriconi aka BLANCO and their co-written song ‘Brividi’. This wonderful Italian song sends ‘chills’ up your skin and feels like a fresh sea breeze.
During the rehearsals and jury shows Mahmood and BLANCO were seen wearing different outfits, so it is quite hard to predict what exactly they would be wearing on the real show. Other than that – the performance would be very intimate and heartwarming as it seems like both artists are singing to each other with no one around!
