Summerniversary Event Raffle—THE WINNERS

Everything hurt.  Her arms, her legs, her face—it was all sunburned.  Despite all past bad press, the Aether Foundation’s newest “give back to the community” idea was a major hit.  The luau was packed to the brim with Trainers everywhere, and DJ Mary and the rest of her crew from the Radio Tower had their hands full keeping up with the musical demands.  And—and Mary didn’t have the heart to admit it—she was glad that there weren’t any party crashers in the form of Team Skull.

Now safely back in her office in Johto, Mary stretched out her legs underneath her table, grasped her coffee mug, and stared at the package in front of her.  Ornately wrapped and with a cute silver bow, it contained several precious gifts.  Mary had never seen stones like this before—and once she realized what they were, she’d nearly spat out her drink.

More powerful than normal evolution, the note said.  Mary wasn’t a serious Trainer, but even she knew the basics.  The Foundation insisted that she take the “Key Stones” and give them to Trainers who’d give them the best home.  DJ Mary took a sip of her coffee and glanced over her itinerary. These four Trainers were in for one heck of a surprise.

Inhaling deeply, she flicked the ON switch for her booth and sat up straight in her chair. She tested the microphone, cleared her throat, and began the final broadcast of the summer.

ROSA—Congratulations!  You won First Place!  This lucky break comes with two great perks.  You may choose your choice between either a shiny Pokémon (Fire, Electric, or Dragon-type) OR a Key Stone and a matching Mega Stone for your favorite Pokémon.  Choose wisely, because you can only get one!

PUNK GUY AXEL—Congratulations!  You won Second Place!  Great job!  While you won’t get a Mega Stone, you have your choice of either a Key Stone OR a shiny Pokémon of your choice (so long as it is a Fire, Electric, or Dragon-type).

GUITARIST ELECTRA—Congratulations!  You won Third Place!  You may now pick a shiny Pokémon as your very own!  You may choose either a Fire, Electric, or a Dragon-type as your new best friend.

FLANNERY—Congratulations!  Although you weren’t part of the top three winners, you will still receive a prize. Head on over to DJ Mary’s booth at the Radio Tower to claim your reward; she has something very special for you.

Set the Stage | Lillie & Electra [EVENT]

Lillie flipped a switch on and off, momentarily blinding herself with the intensity of the stage lights. When her vision cleared, she marked off the appropriate box on the list attached to her clipboard. Lights? Check.

She took a moment to look out over the crowds gathering in the lavishly decorated grounds of Aether Paradise. It seemed odd to return to the place she’d spent most of her childhood as a guest, so had Lillie contacted Aether to see if they needed any help with the event. She didn’t have any particular experience with entertainment, but they assured her that all they needed her to do was run through a few checks on the day of the event.

Speakers? Lillie turned her gaze to the electronic equipment to find Snowy pawing at one of the plugs. “Snowy, leave that alone,” she scolded, motioning for her Pokemon to join her side. The Alolan Vulpix made a noise of disappointment but walked daintily to Lillie. “Don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of time to play once the concert gets started,” she assured Snowy, lightly scratching the Pokemon’s ears. Which brought her to the last item on the checklist: Performers.

One of the guests milling around the stage seemed to have a guitar case, so Lillie made her way over to her, stepping carefully over the tangles of wires. “Excuse me?” she said, waving a hand to get the musician’s attention. “Hi, I’m Lillie, and welcome to Aether’s luau. Are you one of today’s performers?” She scanned the names on her clipboard, but there were several guitarists listed, both in solo acts and as members of bands, so she wasn’t entirely sure who this might be.

Bonjour to you, my friend!  It’s great to see you again!  You were ready for that encore, weren’t you now?  We can never get enough of those rocking guitar solos from Electra Whitewolf no matter where she is!  What can I say, you just strike a chord with us all here!  Do you take requests?  Can you play “Through the Fire and the Flames”?  Or, hey, how about this request!  Go follow everyone on the Masterlist!

A vacation sounds totally terrific! We hope you get to do and see lots of cool things while you’re gone! In the meantime, Electra will be on hiatus until October 12th so that you can focus on having a great time on vacation! We’ll see you then! Have fun!
