Any tips for dynamism? Besides checking on art tutorials (dynamism and gesture drawing), I'd say studying the principles of 2D animation, paying attention to real people's body language, and watching sakuga from great artists like Richard Williams, Milt Halt, Hiroyuki Imaishi, Yutaka Nakamura, etc. I tend to tag animation gifs I go across and like, feel free to use it as reference library, if it's helpful for you.

Not fully TD, but Riya, Derek, Ellie and Tom are the BEST characters in Disventure Camp, and I definitely prefer what the producers did to the latter two over their S1 counterparts!!!

alec and riya’s shenanigans were so funny. i do think they were stupid to talk about the alliance without checking to see if anyone was around, but they were really good this episode. i loved to see them absolutely bully the fuck out of yul, because fuck yul! we hate yul on this blog :3

also, nice to get a confirmation that trevor is, in fact, in love with derek. i know we all had our guesses!! but i genuinely hope they don’t end up together unless derek actually changes; he’s a dick and doesn’t deserve trevor at all.

saying there is no chemistry between riya isnt right bc shes the one who helps connor realize he doesn't need to compensate for any thing and it was pretty clear they were hinting at some sort of feelings between them. Also it is an age thing for plenty of people, I've seen a ton of people complaining about the 20-21 year gap between them saying its weird. Im not saying you have to ship it but complaining that they have no chemistry and then shipping her with someone who she hasn't even met yet is wild.

And for my A-Pal's On this Day Post

I remember our other P-Pal discussing Freedom Planet. Plus I have played Freedom Planet myself. I used to play the first one on the Wii U version, but I also got it on my Switch too. And since the 2nd one came out on console besides the computer version, I hope I'll order it and play all the stories in the 1st Freedom Planet. That way I can play the 2nd one if I get the chance of ordering it on my Switch or on Steam. But if Galaxy Trail makes a bundle of 1 and 2, then I bet that would be cool. Plus I have kept in touch with them too. And it would be nice for the female OCs of Maxwell and Friends to be the characters in Freedom Planet, and I have remembered drawing Tory and Lisa as Lilac and Carol. But I hope one day I'll see if I can find other female OCs to play Milla and Neera Li for the cast of the game.

Last movie: uhh good question. I started watching Pride and Prejudice (2005) yesterday and got distracted after 5 min by remembering that apparently jeans were worn in that time period already and then i had to google some stuff. The last movie i remember watching in full was Barbie at the cinema where i can't just gez distracted and turn the movie off lmao

Last show: season 2 of atla but in a language i don't speak bc that was the only version i found on YouTube (I own the dvds but i dont have a way to use them with my laptop)

When I created this blog: idk. I think the year before Covid? Or maybe shortly before it? What even is time

Other blogs: i got two. One i only used for a secret santa thingy so i won't reveal it in case i need a secret santa blog again. And then there is @brotfrevel. I created that blog when i was very deep into my ed and not comfortable with talking about it where people i know irl might see. I had this little project where each day that i resisted my i healthy habits, i added one element to an embroidery project (I'm happy to announce that I got much much better and the result of this silly little project is now a constanz reminder of that on my wall)

Do I get asks/may you ask me something: i love getting asks! (I've just been really inactive lately so if i didn't answer, I'm sorry. I've literally not been on tumblr for more thwn like five minutes in the last month or so)

Average hours of sleep: something between 5-7 hours i think. I tend to wake up at 1:30 am and then I'm unable to fall back asleep for a while and then i wake up again at around 3:40. So no idea how much sleep i actually get

Instruments: singing, guitar and violin. And technically i have my grandpa's old mandolin and know enough chords to play a couple of songs but the stings haven't been replaced in over 40 years and it's horribly out of tune so i don't play

What I’m wearing: yellow turtleneck sweater (an old one from my sister), an ugly but super comfy jacket (i think it's an old one from my other sister), jeans, pink socks with bees and I'm also gonna count the comfy blanket I'm wrapped into

Dream job: i meany I'd love to publish a book one day and have at least one person buy it but that's pretty unrealistic. So I'll go with being a kindergarten teacher

Nochi Studios Releases Kickstarter Campaign For Their Third Game Title, “Untold Atlas”

Ann Arbor, Michigan — Nochi Studios has launched their Kickstarter campaign to support their third game title, Untold Atlas. If the campaign is successful in raising funding, the planned release date for the mobile game is in May 2023, available on iOS and Android.

“It’s a cool take on mixing visual novels with a player-interactive mini-game that we’ve never done before,” said Natalie Fang, director of Untold Atlas. “Even with the new features we’re experimenting with, players will still experience the romance elements they are expecting from our studio’s games.”

Untold Atlas is a choice driven game taking on an expedition adventure theme while playing with the visual novel category by weaving in-game group chats and mini-games with intriguing romances.

“It is a love letter to the adventure and expedition genre of stories, films, and games that we’ve grown up with and have inspired us over the years,” said Alexandra Mejia, the main writer for the company.

Nochi Studios is building on the momentum of their second game, Somnium Eleven, that was released in February 2022. With Kickstarter, the team plans to accelerate their development timeline for Untold Atlas and has plans to work closely with fans and supporters to develop a game that has the intentions of backers’ interests every step of the way.

Game Description:

Riya Cross is sent on an expedition to explore Aethra, a mysterious island which was once a beacon of ancient technology before being lost to the depths of the sea, then resurfaced back into the world.

Led by Captain Felix Harker, Riya and the rest of their crew which includes loose cannon Eli Ryder, the accomplished Lilith Wren, the contracted scientist Alexei Nova, and the ever-pleasant Aethran guide Claris Io to embark into the mysteries of Aethra and all its regions as they grow closer to the answers behind the true source of the island’s ancient technology while diving into their own adventures and romances along the way.
