she opens the video with a series of clips synapsing one into another of fading transitions and moody, upbeat pop music that’s probably more or less an instrumental of a well-known korean song that she just can’t put her finger on at the moment. there’s clips of her and changmin at the entrance, of a two pairs of feet walking side by side along the sidewalk, crossing it and mingling among a crowd. “hey guys, it’s jiwon! and i’m here with –” another set of eyes fill the frame, an shaky rendition of an unfocused screen grab of changmin’s ‹  ❤  › . 

there’s a quick clip of changmin handing the money over to the vendor as they get food in exchange, a full tray of an assortment jiwon faintly remembers at the tip of her tongue. the scene transitions to one of them waving at one another, probably when jiwon had offered to take a picture of him before the transition fades from one scene to another and introduces an influx of terribly shaky and grossly-pixelated concert clips that hold jiwon in a crowd and laying far away in a hill.

each of these clips fade in and out of each other, revealing the faces of nakyung in a few and hayi in the rest. they switch back and forth between nakyung  ‹  ❤  ›  jamming out to oh chi chi in the background to hayi  ‹  ❤  ›  chatting in a corner of the frame as jiwon tries to artistically capture a lone cloud floating high in the sky as she was on her back, hidden beneath overgrown grasses and the shade of tents. 

the scene remains for a little while before transitioning back to the clip of oh chi chi performing, an obvious display of height as many heads filter into the frame and shakiness ensues as if jiwon had been mangled throughout the filming process ( it wasn’t too far of a guess as the crowd around them had been unbearable ) but jiwon thought that some of the clips were still manageable. at least oh chi chi and luxe were partially visible. she had even gotten an up close focus of one of the girls from luxe, yena – was it? she couldn’t remember but she makes sure to add a small note in white font beside the clip ‘is this yena-ssi?????’ with a thinking emoji.

another scene is a frenzy of fast movements and blurry images but it’s barely passable by a fade of hair and jiwon’s smiling face and the laughter that looks a little too real beneath her mischievous grin as she’s talking to someone, seulgi, off camera that she never really shows,  ‹  ❤  ›   her eyes glancing at the lens of the camera every now and then before her hand comes up to cover it – music continuing to muffle the voices that were otherwise soundless to the audience. jiwon makes well on her promise to delete any actual evidence but she leads the clip of their conversation on mute because the memory, within itself, makes her smile – one of the few instances during the festival that she actually felt herself enjoying the event.   

soon after, a scene of her inconspicuously zooming into a male, dongmin, with several hearts floating about his head ‹  ❤  › . there’s even a small scribble of white font near the side: ‘isn’t he so pretty !!!!!’ before her hand covers the lens and it’s turned back to her with an increasingly panicked expression framing her wide eyes and plump lips, almost like an oh no! i’ve been caught. 

the final scene is one everyone’s been waiting for as a notable regular of her vlogs makes his dramatic entrance, increasingly dramatic – it was something for the cinematic wonders that only movie magic could make ‹  ❤  › ; he enters and jiwon’s odd angle to capture the both of them in the frame is more straining than it is enjoyable on her end but she makes due. and the video itself ends with her zooming into his face with a shaky hand and her voice going:

“say goodbye to jaehyun-ah!”

perhaps buying all those drinks had been a mistake. an ice cream cone in his hand, the cold feeling of it against his lips makes his stomach flutter with anticipation. he’d been trying his best to stay hydrated all day under this unbearable sun, but now, now he thinks he should’ve just been eating his weight in the sweet treat. it’s much cooler than any cup of juice he’s bought, much more refreshing, and to top it all off — much more tasty. don’t get him wrong, he’s a fan of juice, but ice cream? pretty much heaven in a cone. he should get one for mingyu when they reunite later, smudge it on his nose if he can. cradling it in his hands, he makes his way towards where he’d seen some tables earlier in the hopes one would be free for him to perch at. 

too focused on making sure the melted treat doesn’t trickle down to his hand and leave the skin unpleasantly sticky, he doesn’t notice the girl in front of him, her shoulders the perfect height for taking the full impact of his poor observation skills. it seeps through her shirt before he can even think about apologising, but then he thinks why should he? he had obviously been careful, desperate not to ruin his ice cream, so it must be her fault. “fucking... damn it.” he mutters, looking between what’s left in his hand and what now rests against her shoulder. there’s nothing left for him to salvage — he’ll have to fork out for another. “watch where you’re going...”

Dowoon knew he shouldn’t stare, but after spending weeks in hospital where the most exciting change in someone’s appearance was a brightly coloured shirt, he couldn’t help but glance over to the girl near him every few minutes.

To be bluntly honest, Dowoon had never seen anyone dress like her besides the pictures of girls from Harajuku he’d seen on Instagram and various blogs. Though while her outfit was unusual, it wasn’t bad looking. Strange as it was, the girl made it work, with it subtly matching in parts while being outlandish in others.

Glancing back again, Dowoon jumped as their eyes met, only to let out a hiss of pain when the movement caused a jolt of pain to run through his chest. Ouch.

“A-ah! Sorry, sorry! I didn’t mean to stare... It’s just...” Fumbling for words Dowoon stared at the scar one of the IVs had left in his wrist before speaking again.

“You’ve just got an interesting style, that’s all.”

The Moment We've All Been Waiting For || Jiyong & Hayi

Jiyong stuffed his hands in his coat pockets, hunching his shoulders up to keep warm from the biting, evening breeze. It was definitely getting into the winter months be now, it almost practically smelled like snow, but he was glad the wet, white stuff hadn't begun falling just yet.

He came up to Hayi's door and tapped on it a few times. He hoped she wouldn't mind him being a little bit later than they'd planned to, but maybe she'd been doing her makeup or something. Or maybe she'd just be forgiving. After all, this was the sixth time they'd set up to go out for drinks together, and now it was finally happening. No more canceling. He grinned widely as soon as she opened the door. "You ready to go?"

hello, again !!

i’m back from my hiatus now, slowly settling back in. coming off hiatus is always a rocky time for me so I might be a little slow to get caught up, i’m sorry skdf. won owes a lot more than seungcheol so i’ll probably be here trying to queue a few of those before I switch over!! with that said, below is a full tracker of everything I believe I owe on won~ I’ve dropped a lot of older threads, but please let me know if you’d like to keep anything or if i’ve missed anything ♥
