hello everyone, it’s eri again. so i’ve actually gone ahead and redone jaebum’s profile so it’s up to date for the faceclaim change. i’ve also gone and written a whole ass biography which you can read here. i’m in the process of rewriting jaebum’s profile, while also writing him a biography up. i was going to post it here as a 101 on rkjaebeom sort of thing, but i am gonna keep this simple; this is a plot / starter call because i am in desperate need of new threads for jaebum. i actually don’t have any. two are in the works. below the cut is a list of possible plots / connections for your muse and jaebum. if you want, these can be just as they are or they can be added to / altered depending on the muse or situation. if you are interested in plotting something else then that’s okay. so all you gotta do is ... comment what plot you’re down for, comment a number between 1 - 10 ( i’ll shuffle my music library this many times and try and write a starter based on the song ) or like this if you would like to plot or thread. i wanna interact with more of y’all!

( a. ) acquaintances from high school. jaebum didn’t really have many, or any friends during his schooling years so anyone who he could of possibly had interactions with? could be positive or negative, could be totally neutral. ( ‘94 / ‘95, male or female )   - rksohee

( b. ) acquaintances from his time in the underground music scene. fellow musicians and performers. also people who were / are involved in seoul’s partying / nightlife scene. ( 18+, male or female )

( c. ) actual, genuine friends. probably would wanna cap this at two or three. jaebum is a very private person, but i would appreciate / really like having some people he can be himself with and open up to. ( 21+, male or female )   - rkkyungwon   - kdyxrk

( d. ) people he can work with musically, be it writing music or playing music together, covers etc. could even be a potential member of the group he was apart of ( up until his indefinite hiatus in 2020 due to his mental health ) ( any age, male or female )

( e. ) jaebum has a small studio in seoul dedicated to his crafts; music, art and tattooing. some threads of him planning tattoos with clients or even tattooing them would be nice. your muse can find his work through his tattoo “shop” on instagram ( 18+, male or female ) 

( f. ) ex-fling / friends with benefits situation from his partying days. could go anyway; tension, pining, flashbacks, negative, positive etc. ( except nothing’ll come of it sadly bc jaebum’s in a long term relationship at the moment ) ( 21+, female only ) 

( g. ) fans of jaebum. he’s in a band, or was ... but he has some solo stuff. he’s busked in the past. could be a really chill, casual interaction or could be a little strange / weird, i mean ... maybe your muse is a big fan? ( any age, male or female )

( h. ) plot where your muse and jaebum go and volunteer at a shelter for abandoned animals because jaebum really loves animals, especially cats. watch him bring a cat home ... or fifty of them because ... cats ( any age, male or female )

HELLO EVERYONE !!! my hiatus is ending soon so i wanted to make this post before it does to ‘get ready’ in a sense lol. anyways! first of all, lix finally quit his job as a host in a host club took him a while i know and has decided to... *drum roll* do youtube full-time! wow, amazing!

what does he do on his youtube channel?

dance covers, most of them he choreographed himself. he started doing vocal covers too!

he also vlogs, you know, for the views

mukbang with an assortment of cheap junk food

if you’re also a friend of his there’s an 80% chance he’ll try to drag you into his videos

AND NOW FOR THE PLOT CALL !!! i’ve been... super horrible with interacting with most of the people on here because i just stick to twitter for plotting and well, i don’t have all of you on twitter... and i wanted to change that! i want lix to meet a lot of your muses as well as make more meaningful connections, after all. so! this is an attempt at that!

a very close friend of his, his ride or die. they probably knew each other for a long while, and is aware that lix is... running away from his rich family lol

the one friend that helped him polish his korean... he owes you big time. he’ll share his pizza with you everyday

that friend that let him stay at their place when he just returned to korea before he moved out and found a proper roommate... this friend can be the same one that helps him re-polish his korean if you want!

since his family goes to korea every summer, friends that he made during those times!! he’d treasure every friendship... regardless of how often you meet up!

as of lix’s birthday, his dear roommate bought them two cute bunnies! maybe we can make a plot around that. he loves gushing over his bunny (which he hasn’t named... help him with that maybe hAHA).

people he can drag into his videos! it doesn’t have to surround dancing, he does random challenges too (for the views...) and you just somehow get dragged into it. he’s super embarrassed but you know, you do what you have to do. join in on his discount mukbang too

those who were his clients back when he was a host. his host persona and his real persona is a very different. in reality he’s mostly shy and easily embarrassed. maybe you ran into him expecting host lix but he’s just embarrassed and panicking and ‘omg they’ll think i’m so lame outside of work’

lix is a person that gets jealous quite easily. he still doesn’t have his life structured properly and you seem like you do. you seem to know what you want, meanwhile lix doesn’t, he barely knows himself. he admires you for that, but he also feels envious. bonus if you two are friends and it’s only a matter of time before he explodes on you

people his parents forced him to befriend, and though when he still lived under their roof he did befriend you, after he ran away he never contacted you ever again. he doesn’t know whether the friendship the two of you had was real, nor does he want to find out

alternatively, people his parents forced him to befriend, but he just doesn’t like you (and maybe you feel the same way or not). he tries not to let it show at the time, but after running away he starts treating you differently

he’s a bit awful at keeping up with debuted idols. teach him about them! make him stan a group! please please please! you can be his stan twt educator. he’ll do his best to keep up

trainee friends! he’s kind of jealous of you but he really wants to learn from you. whether you were friends before you became a trainee or after, it’s free real estate!

maybe you work as a delivery person, and you’re wondering why the hell this guy keeps ordering food at late hours into the night. he’s a night owl, mostly because of his previous job as a host club that usually occurs at night, and also because... he’s an insomniac

NOT-SO PLATONIC

exes. can work with girls even though he’s gay because it took him a long time to come to terms with it

if a girl, he probably didn’t give you all his attention. he doesn’t initiate any sort of physical affection, which might be the first thing that tipped you off that he isn’t as invested in the relationship as you are. 

if a boy, you probably witnessed his meltdown and insecurities firsthand. it was probably a quick relationship, because he panicked and couldn’t handle the pressure at all, ending things abruptly even though at the time he probably did like you. he just couldn’t handle the idea of being out of the closet

one night stands... that says it all. whether you were friends beforehand and got drunk and made mistakes or you were lonely strangers... anything is free!

friends with benefits... need i say more. could be a past thing, and now your friendship is on the verge of shattering or something

the one that got away? maybe you had feelings for him before. he knew about it, but pretended not to, because feelings are scary and his insecurities were just about ready to eat him up. whether you decide not to confess or you did and he let you down, things are a bit rocky now

on your part, it’s pretty much established that he’s awful at feelings so, that isn’t fun

on his part, it’s most likely a past thing. he was too scared to say anything about it, or maybe he did and you let him down, causing him to harbour a lot of regrets and ‘fuck i shouldn’t have said anything’ but time heals wounds and now he just misses having you as a friend

actually, you’re good friends. you used to be pretty close before you got signed into a company and became a trainee. seungwoo’s proud of you but envious as well, competitive as always, because you managed to accomplish something like that before him. it’s one of the reasons why he meets up with you less, cancels more often on you when you finally have some time to hang out and when you get to be with each other, things tend to get awkward sometimes.

seungwoo’s father started dating your mom a while ago and it’s weird in every sense. while seungwoo is bitter about this for a lot of reasons ( like his father neglecting him paying attention to a woman to him even dating another woman in the first place when he was so sad about his mother’s death ) it’s a difficult situation for you for your own reasons. it’s debatable if you two get along but there’s a chance you’ll become step siblings in the future so you have to beat with each other.

If you think you’ve seen Ren here before, you’re half-right! I brought Ren to rk around a year ago but ended up dropping him after various MESSES (y’all know what I’m talking about sakjhfs) happened. But I missed my repentant yakuza boy, so I’ve brought him back with one major change. In his first run in rk, Ren was married with a daughter. And while I HATED to get rid of this aspect of his character, it made it insanely hard to plot with. However, that is the only change to his character, beside him being a store clerk in Dongdaemun as well as him now constantly introducing himself as Ren as opposed to Minki. Everything else has remained the same uwu

I need to update his plot pages, but while I’m at that, like this for a small starter. No cap, just don’t let me flop ahahahaha.

hello, hello! jamong here! i am here with my second baby, shiah! she is... como se dice... A NIGHTMARE? she’s definitely a lot to take in but she is also in desperate need for plots as well. i’m working on a background for her right now but i can quickly summarize up! basically a girl who was forced by her mother into the spotlight but actually LOVES it. has been working with esteem model management since 2017 as a signed model. graduated high school back in january from hanlim in the modeling department because duh. has taken dance lessons since she was super young and has a variety of disciplines. her brother runs a dance studio. her mother is like a full-time mom manager and her dad works but is very sick ( though shiah will never admit it / talk about it ). she’s kind of in need of all kinds of plots. people she’s bullied, friends, exes, those who have worked in similar industries, etc. she’s done commercials, minor tv roles as a child, obviously model advertisements, tv show auditions and photography competitions. her tv personality is TOTALLY different from her actual attitude and she literally thinks the world revolves around her so being an idol???? that’s not even work as far as she’s concerned but it’s what her mom wants next so SHE GUESSES. okay so yeah! please give this a like if you’d like to plot with her please! i’m super excited for her just like seongwu! she’s also very active on instagram with her dances so catch her there as well. DANCE TEAM WANTED PLEASE? YES? Face Claim Change & Plot Call

Hi everyone! I know I haven’t been very active on here, but that’s due to an extreme lack of muse with Guanlin. While I will always have a soft spot for Guanlin, both my muse and I are in agreement that he doesn’t quite work any more as my face claim. So, with that being said, going forward I will be using Yeh Shuhua from now on. 

On a side note, I would love to plot with all of you wonderful people both new and old. I’ve mainly been posting solos about her dad’s accident, but I would love to branch out and get some friendships on my girly over here. this is a very … unexpected fc change notice !!

i’ve been struggling for about … a year ? trying to revitalize this muse ? not that i’ve lost any love for yccjungrk – actually, that’s why i’m trying this out to see if it makes much of a difference. she’s a muse that i hold very close to my heart, and that i couldn’t fathom abandoning … so here we are, trying something different ! if you know me well or follow me on twitter, you probably know i was considering this fc change about ? i think a year ago ? and i think it’s finally time to give it a try. new year, new muse, i guess ? so, two years after her acceptance we’ve finally moved from weki meki’s choi yoojung to dreamcatcher’s lee gahyeon !! nothing more than her face ( obviously ), birthdate ( now february 3, she’s an aquarius now ! ), and her hometown ( busan ! ) has changed !! it shouldn’t affect her muse much, slight personality tweaks, although not so much due to the fc change versus a small revamp of her – but that will be explained below. it’s not even really a revamp.

but anyway – gahyeon’s among very few fcs i could see representing this muse, and i knew that if i ever did change yccjungrk’s fc, it would be to gahyeon. so here we are !! we’re starting this muse’s third year here at rookies, as well as 2020, with a path to what’s hopefully a happier, healthier, and more active muse. so, below are some ramblings trying to figure things out, as well as plots ( !! ) and some new information about royal’s lovely lupine, lee gahyeon !! please welcome her with open arms.

here’s to new beginnings ♥

things have been a little ? tough for this muse recently. so here’s going back to the beginnings – because honestly, her muse wasn’t very established when i started out here at rookies. instead, i started with a generic muse who felt a little lost, a little betrayed, and didn’t know what she wanted to do upon coming to rookies. as i established her as a muse here, the following developed ::

her mother died when she was young, and is the reason she started dancing

her father shut down after her mother’s death, blaming himself for what happened

she tried to reconcile and cope with what happened, but she was young and her father, who was her only real support system at the time, wasn’t responding well either … so, she had to grow up very quickly and take care of herself

she worked at a dance studio throughout high school that she’d attended as a student in middle school

she participated in a dance crew while in high school

she excelled in school because she wanted her father to notice her – but he never did because he paid little attention to anything

she managed to get into snu on a full-ride scholarship bc of her grades, and moved to seoul to attend as a linguistics major to go into a ‘ practical ’ career where she could make money, but she … really hated it

the only thing that got her through it was that she worked as a choreographer at a dance studio, image, in seoul; that dance studio was basically her life, if she wasn’t at the snu library, she was there

finally alone, she thought about actually pursuing her dreams and doing what she wanted for once in her life

with the help of kim doyeon, she applied for the mgas

she’s still confused as to how she managed to get a contract, and that royal entertainment of all companies wanted her

she was excited, but stressed, in the beginning – now she’s mostly just stressed

her life doesn’t have much direction now

of course the direction she’s currently pointed is toward debut – and don’t get me wrong, she wants to debut !! but with the boy’s recent debuts gahyeon can’t help but look at them and feel a little helpless. because of course it’s a good sign – it means it’s possible to debut !! but it also means that she likely won’t debut anytime soon. she does love being a trainee and realizes how lucky she is to even have gotten this chance, much more with royal – but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t gotten a little … well, lost ( *cue lost in the woods from frozen 2* ). she doesn’t know what to do because sure, she has what she wanted – she’s a trainee now !! she’s so grateful !! but she’s also, well … a trainee now. her path is uncertain from here on out. she’s aware that royal wouldn’t debut a girl group for a while.

so … what to do now ?

the simple thing is to throw her to the wringer. get her sick, have her father come back to haunt her, injure her, something simple. easy stuff. but not really likely ? gahyeon’s careful and knows her limits ( even if she tends to overwork herself anyway, but at least she usually realizes when too much is too much ), so she wouldn’t allow herself to get injured nor is she likely to get sick, and the ol’ mun in the back has plans for gahyeon’s father … so that doesn’t leave a whole lot. the lovely mod carly mentioned writing out goals, so … what are those atm ?

debut, with the royal girls preferably

get lee dongmin to kiss her ( yes jess, she won’t shut up about it )

keep in better contact with her idol & non-trainee friends

create new choreography

go back to university

create a life outside of royal

admittedly, it’s not much. it’s hard to … muddle through the fog that’s surrounded her muse, because she feels stuck. she feels as though she’s not making any real progress, and like everything involving trainee-dom is monotonous. she doesn’t like doing the same thing week after work, and january’s evaluation is the first one she’s actually been pretty excited about. she doesn’t know how to fix that issue … doesn’t know where to go, who to talk to – but … she has friends.

life outside of royal hasn’t really … existed much for gahyeon since signing. she talks with friends outside of royal primarily through text, and she meets with her friends at events around the city when she has time, but ? that can’t be her life. that’s really why everything’s so boring. her life is work, eat, sleep, repeat. she doesn’t do much outside of her trainee schedule ( not that royal gives her much time ), but all work and no play makes johnny a dull boy, and all that.

with the fc change, gahyeon isn’t much different. actually, most of her personality changes have already been put in place via her becoming a trainee, and being more confident in herself and her skills. she still has severe insecurities about herself and her talent that she masks with a convincing enough façade – but maybe we can break that ? her birthdate change makes her an aquarius now ( which, i’m sorry aquarius friends, made me literally groan irl bc i’ve met very few aquarius’ i like rip ). so, it’s almost as if the personality she was gaining fits her a little bit more now – just … more insecure than maybe she should be. with her time as a trainee, gahyeon has become more independent, and is more likely to speak up for herself. it doesn’t help the fact that she’s a little, well, over-emotional. not that she wasn’t before – it’s only amplified by the fact she’s a little more forward than perhaps she was before becoming a trainee. she tends to take on a mentor/motherly role to anyone younger than her, or anyone who has any struggles and asks her for help. she puts other people before herself and is almost altruistic to a fault. she prioritizes other people and their progress over her own, but she usually makes up for it by working herself ragged. but that’s always how her life has been – she took care of her father, so she takes care of everyone around her. it’s always been about them – never her.

i’ve also noticed something: gahyeon needs connections.

i have this problem where she has relationships/friendships with people, but she never really ? interacts with them ? i don’t know why, probably because i’m quite terrible at plotting and have run dry on ideas – but you know ! we need to change that. she only has maybe ? 2-3 solid, deep connections ? but we always need more.

anyone who may have met gahyeon back in her dance crew days !! this would’ve been around 2015-17 ? she also would’ve travelled a bit for it, so if you were perhaps part of one, y’all would probably have met at competitions !

she’s now from busan instead of changwon – so maybe i could get more past connections for her ? maybe people she knew in hs or who went to the dance studio she was a junior choreographer at ?

people who went to snu with gahyeon and either knew she auditioned for mgas/were confused when she dropped bc they never knew and want to know what happened

you’ve seen her videos online/saw her on the mgas, so you approach her !! maybe you’re also a youtuber, and you want to collab on something !! she’s super open, and youtube challenges seem dumb and fun she’ll do it

you need a roommate, and gahyeon’s apartment is big enough for two people – after some talks with the super, they’re letting her get a roommate, and honestly gahyeon’s super thankful, she’s very lonely and hates living alone

you live in gahyeon’s building and her dog always at some point in the night ends up yipping – you realize that it’s when gahyeon comes home and decide to confront her about it. she’s a child and scared when you confront her, maybe she cries – but she’s exhausted and you notice and well now you’re friends

maybe we need a burnt out trainee support group bc gahyeon wants to lay on the floor and sleep all the time and that’s just not healthy

speaking of which, you find her on the practice room floor one night because she fell asleep before she could manage to leave … and maybe you reprimand her because she really shouldn’t be doing that

someone she opens up to about her struggles – especially about her feeling inadequate. a connection where gahyeon hadn’t realized there would be one.

you two were close before gahyeon became a trainee and she apologizes profusely for dropping off the face of the planet when she got signed but you’re here now so let’s go get some korean bbq and i’ll pay for the drinks, okay !!!
