Ok- I been posting all kinds of stuff lately- let’s get back to drawings: Here’s another quick “Generation Gap” gag featured in today’s Hawai’i Herald: Recently we noticed because of the weather (and the mess the cat makes) that we’re getting roaches in the house so Gwen and I went to the store and I thought the packaging was getting larger for these roach traps. Cockroach Traps That Work

It’s unfortunate to have roach infestation at home. Once these pesky pests made their way into your house, you can bet they are here to stay. Depending on the degree of infestation, different options and solution can be used to deal with the situation at hand. For heavy infestation, strong solutions like the roach spray, boric acid will be ideal. Once the roach decrease in number with only a couple showing up once in awhile, roach traps are definitely the roach killer option to go for.

Here are a few of the best roach traps that I’ve used and would recommend:

1) Trapper Max Glue Traps 12 Glue Boards Trap

The Trapper glue trap is non-toxic and is sold for about almost $10. One pack comes with a set of 12 cardboard traps with adhesive tape on the inside. They are easy to set up and traps pests like spiders and bed bugs as well. Though the gluey area is small, they are enough to catch dozens of insect.

Be mindful when setting up the trap, don’t get your finger in the glue as the clean up can get really messy.

The Trapper Trap also comes in a mega version, Trapper Inside Trap, where you get 90 traps in a single set. It cost around $19. This is much cheaper than the Trapper Max.

There are no any attractants or chemicals used in this trap, it is made using cardboard adhesive strips which can be divided into individual strip if you wish. I’m too lazy to do it though (just remember reading the reviews where one of the user did that).

Keep the Trapper Trap shut when you use and open the lid on and off to check on the number of roaches trapped. The trap is not only good at traping the roaches but also is a means to find out how heavy is the roach infestation population at home.

Found this great product from this site: www.pestsurvivalguide.com. “Roach Motel” as the name suggests is a trap where roaches checks in, but doesn’t check out! It’s in the top search in Amazon when I was looking for a simple roach trap to try out. What I like about the roach motel over the Trapper Max is that the trap is design in a way it keeps the trapped roaches out of sight to both the user and the roaches that haven been trapped.

These are the two roach traps that I’ve tried and would recommend you give it a shot and let me know your experience. One thing I like about roach traps is that they are pet safe and free from chemicals. Feel free to leave a comment k.
