Reagan Amyre Gomez-Preston (born April 24, 1980) is a television, film, and voice actress. She is known for her roles as Zaria Peterson on The Parent ‘Hood (1995–99) and Roberta Tubbs on The Cleveland Show (2009–13). She starred in Love, Inc. (2005–06) season as Francine.

She was born in Detroit to Cheryl Gomez and Dr. Bennett Preston. She has a younger brother. They moved the family to Little Rock and then to Philadelphia. In Philadelphia, she was enrolled in acting, dancing, and singing lessons at Philadelphia’s Freedom Theatre. They moved to Los Angeles with her mother and brother Kyle, so she could pursue an acting career.

She guest starred on One on One as Flex’s younger sister/Breanna’s aunt, Bernadette. She was a guest host of Soul Train, which aired in December 1995. She is a former cast member of The Amanda Show. She has been featured in King magazine twice, first in the September/October 2003 issue, and again in the December 2006/January 2007 issue. She was one out of five cover girls in her second appearance. She appeared in music videos such as “Sorry 2004” by Ruben Studdard, “No Better Love” by Young Gunz, and “Whatever You Like” by T.I.

She is a writer of feature films, with her own business and production company. Since 2014, she has had a recurring voice-over role as the twin sisters Jenny and Kiki Pizza on Steven Universe, and in 2016, she began a recurring role on Queen Sugar as Chantal Williams.

— rigel was born on 13th march at 7:25am to penelope ‘penny’ thorne, a seamstress. when his father found out she was pregnant they were both young and unmarried and so disappeared, not wanting the responsibility of being a parent and leaving penny to raise rigel by herself.

— rigel grew up in cowes, living a short distance from queen victoria's residence of osbourne house. he and his mother lived in a beautiful cottage that had a large garden, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a spacious living room. he spent most of his time in the kitchen, at the table, where the sun would shine its light the most and where he would draw with prized pack of crayons. this was the start of his interest in art and, with his mother’s influence, in designing clothes.

— rigel loved his mother more than anything. she was the strongest and kindest person he’s ever known. penny raised rigel alone (with the help of her own parents when they could) and never saw rigel’s father again. she taught him to sew from a young age and how to grow vegetables in their back garden as well as how to read and write before he even started school. she would also take him to the beach during the warmer months and they’d often go for walks through the countryside and to the market.

— rigel’s love of literature and his sewing skills landed him a little job at the local theatre, helping design and put together costumes for their productions. he mainly helped out on the weekends and a few evenings during the week, but once he finished school he was working there full time.

— during the summer after his seventeenth birthday he met a girl named charlotte. she was visiting the island on holiday, was also seventeen and english, but has been living in wales since she was twelve. they met at the local bookstore where rigel found her carrying six books in her arms and searching for more. he helped her with some recommendations and to carry the books back to the family’s rented holiday home and the whole time was spent talking about their favourite books and plays and the two decided to spend more time together whilst charlotte was around. rigel thought she was so beautiful, so compassionate, so intelligent, and so easy to have a conversation with. after charlotte returned home, the two exchanged letters frequently and even had a few lengthy phone conversations.

— two years later, charlotte returned to the island and announced she’d taken up a job with one of the local florists. for the time being she lived with rigel and penny and spent most evening cooking for them both to repay their kindness and generosity.

— rigel was 23 when he felt like he wanted more out of life. he loved his home and the people there, but he wanted to broaden his horizons. despite the guilt he felt for wanting to leave his mother behind, penny reassured him that nothing would make her happier than seeing her son make a life for himself with the girl he loved.

— rigel then had one last thing to do before leaving and that was to propose to charlotte. he did so during a sunset stroll on a quiet beach and up to that point it was the happiest moment of both of their lives. they bought a victorian terraced house, where rigel still lives today, and he found a job working at a big theatre whilst charlotte was employed at a florist around the corner from their home.

— they were unbelievably happy together and with their work, but once people started commenting on how time was ticking on for them to have children rigel began to consider fatherhood.

— his son rhys was born in 1985 and both rigel and charlotte couldn’t be happier. by this time, rigel was working in the costume department at the famous pinewood studios, but gave it up to be closer to home.

— when rhys was seven, his mother died. she was hit by a drunk driver whilst crossing the road and was put in an induced coma, but died from her injuries four days later. the driver was brought to justice after a long legal battle, but nothing anybody could do could bring back charlotte. rigel was broken. and what was worse is that he had to explain to rhys that he would never see his mother again.

— rigel ensured that rhys grew up hearing stories of the kind of wonderful person charlotte was and what kind of likes she liked and liked to do. as much as it pained him, rigel also had several photographs of her around the house- some from family days out, some from when she was a teenager, and even had her final photograph (taken a fortnight before she died) in an ornate gold frame in the living room.

— in 1999, rigel caught the attention of the table. they knew of his reputation as an accomplished artist and tailor and wanted his services on their side. struggling for money to provide for himself and his son and with being presented the opportunity to put his skills to proper use, rigel took them up on the offer. he could let the shady side of everything slide because he wasn’t directly involved in scheming and killing, but instead providing protective and beautiful clothing for people who needed it. he’s been working at the atelier ever since and genuinely loves his job.

These control features are not what I have been accustomed to seeing here for posting a new post here on Tumblr, and, these colorful icons are not present when I do an edit of an existing post here on Tumblr. There are fewer controls for an edit, and the controls are grey in color, not rainbow color spectrum. The zoom needs to be set at 130% in order to make a new post here on Tumblr, any other zoom setting brings up a different screen where no text can be entered.

With this variety of Tumblr text box, the use of "Ctrl + v" for pasting a screen shot is not possible, I must navigate to the "screenshots" folder in my computer to find the screenshot I just now captured.

That navagation to the "screenshots" folder is not necessary when I do an edit of an existing Tumblr post, when edditing an existing post, I am able to simply use "Ctrl + v" to paste the last screenshot that was captured.

The Centurylink/Google/Tumblr internet terror consortium is using the fact that I can either paste, or must navigate to the "screenshots" folder in some way to frame or set me up as having posted child pornography. The child pornography that is being shown to the federal agents is on a computer that is almost identical the one I use, however, the porn computer is a 15' model, mine is bigger. That computer is sometimes in posession of Lorena Chapman, but the actual pornography of the children is from Myers at 560 Jackpine, is real porography images of children taken at the 560 address. in a barn/shed in the backyard there, and at other places that are not far away from 560 Jackpine, and the Lorena Chapman/Micheal Brassil terror cell at 3701 Russell Road.

Further looking at the matter, is about pride of ownership of the “Pig” label among the terror fake police, they play role of overlord, are backed at the high levels, are untouchable, they control the activities of the terror soldiers, so, there is some Pig Pride among them because of the power they posses. Every kind of social organized assemblance includes that there is a place where work is done, at that place, there is a separation of power within, where there are leaders who make decisions, and there are workers, who support the existence of the organizes assemblance of people. The workers are separated from the leaders in some way, at a company where products are made, the leaders are the managers, CEO’s, CFO’s, other corporate officers and foreman. The workers are in the factory area, the leaders are separated by some kind of wall, or other divisor, such as the offices in the hallway at the factory.

All it takes is a dinner party, holiday gathering, other reason that the company will have a celebratory event. Either way, all the needs to happen is for that company to show up on a hunting list of the pirates. When it’s time for the annual Christmas party, that is when the SAG infiltrator suggests that they have connections to some top notch entertainers for the party, and convinces the CEO that Dolly Parton can and will perform at the party. So, arrangements are made for someone like Dolly Parton to come to do the entertainment at the annual Christmas Party at the big corporation.

I suspect there was a lot of Medical insurance billing of treatments that murdered patients at those two places never recieved, were murdered, insurance billed for every kind of test and treatment plan as was possible without being cought of noticed, The proceeds seem to have been used to grow the Asante monster into what it has become since 2001. Asante pretty much took over all of the hospitals in the Southern Oregon area as time has progressed.

All of that hospital activity for mass murdering is covered up to make the facilities appear as top rate facilities. They are all loaded up with actors in the lobbies, in the hospital rooms, working as technicians and nurses. The Canadian terror army receives the very best medical care available anywhere, all of them are very healthy and kept healthy while the US Citizens are poisoned to make them sick and go to a doctor. The terror army is all fed the best food at restaurants that were all hijacked, while the US citizens are poisoned or are captured right there at the same restaurant. The terror army is “Forbidden“ to cook meals at home, and the food at the grocery store is like Food Roulette, maybe is poisoned, maybe not. I have many symptoms of repeated poisons from many various means of delivering the poisons, but I have no way to get treatment for those symptoms. That is why I keep saying “Please send medical services to Oregon“ every day and “Bring your own hospital”.

Bob Hope (Himself, Host) was born Lesley Townes Hope in England in 1903. During his extensive career in virtually all forms of media he received five honorary Academy Awards. In 1945 Desi Arnaz was the orchestra leader on Bob Hope’s radio show. Ball and Hope did four films together. He appeared as himself on the season 6 opener of “I Love Lucy.” He did a brief cameo in a 1964 episode of “The Lucy Show.” When Lucille Ball moved to NBC in 1980, Hope appeared on her welcome special. He died in 2003 at age 100.

Lucille Ball (1911-1989) was born in Jamestown, New York. She began her screen career in 1933 and was known in Hollywood as ‘Queen of the B’s’ due to her many appearances in ‘B’ movies. With Richard Denning, she starred in a radio program titled “My Favorite Husband” which eventually led to the creation of “I Love Lucy,” a television situation comedy in which she co-starred with her real-life husband, Latin bandleader Desi Arnaz. The program was phenomenally successful, allowing the couple to purchase what was once RKO Studios, re-naming it Desilu. When the show ended in 1960 (in an hour-long format known as “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour”) so did Lucy and Desi’s marriage. In 1962, hoping to keep Desilu financially solvent, Lucy returned to the sitcom format with “The Lucy Show,” which lasted six seasons. She followed that with a similar sitcom “Here’s Lucy” co-starring with her real-life children, Lucie and Desi Jr., as well as Gale Gordon, who had joined the cast of “The Lucy Show” during season two. Before her death in April 1989, Lucy made one more attempt at a sitcom with “Life With Lucy,” also with Gordon, which was not a success and was canceled after just 13 episodes.

Bob's Opening Monologue

Hope: “I'm B.O.B. Hope. They only performer on TV who isn't from U.N.C.L.E.”

“The Man from U.N.C.L.E” (1964-68) was a hit NBC spy series at the time. Two days later the show  presented the third episode of their third season, which coincidentally also starred Joan Collins.

Hope jokes that the title of this show is “15 of My Leading Ladies” or “Richard Burton Eat Your Heart Out”.  Both Burton and Elizabeth Taylor are mentioned during the show. Two years earlier, the two stars had wed and become one of Hollywood’s super couples. They would appear on “Here’s Lucy” in 1970.

Hope: “I always enjoyed working with Lucille Ball.  She's the nicest producer I've ever kissed.”  

Hope says that he will be appearing on Lucy's show in exchange. He actually had already done so, doing a walk-on cameo in a 1964 episode of “The Lucy Show” guest-starring Jack Benny.  Reciprocal appearances by Hope and Ball were common and date back to the early 1950s.

Hope talks about the new TV shows like “How The West Was Won,” linking it to discussion of California politics talking about Governor Pat Brown and Ronald Reagan, who ran against Brown and won, becoming Governor in January 1967. Hope jokes about First Lady Lady Bird Johnson's visit to California on a “Beauty and Conservation Tour” in early September 1966.

He talks more about TV shows with animal names in the title like “Rat Patrol,” “T.H.E. Cat,” “Iron Horse” and “The Monkeys”. He says that “Run Buddy, Run” and “The Fugitive” had a head-on collision. “Daktari” and “Rawhide” are both returning.  

After a commercial break, a film segment depicts an armored car with a two motorcycle escort pulling up to the NBC Studios where Bob Hope, golf clubs in tow, emerges from the truck. When Bob gets inside his dressing room there is a surprise party waiting for him, thrown by the NBC executives to celebrate his 30th year at the network. One of the men is named Sarnoff (Harvey, a nephew of NBC founder David Sarnoff), and the other two are named Hubert and Humphrey, a jab at the current vice president. 

Hope's Emmy is dramatically behind an elaborate curtain. He won it in 1966 for “Bob Hope Presents The Chrysler Theatre.” Although Hope received the Governor's Award in 1984, this was his only competitive Emmy.  

The Executives leave Hope to get a physical by a doctor (Paul Lynde) – which is an exercise in futility, especially when a buxom blonde Page (Johnine Lee) delivers some telegrams to Hope, making his face twitch. The Doctor turns into Hope's therapist.  He recalls some of his leading ladies accompanied by clips of the films in which he starred with them. Madeleine Carroll in My Favorite Blonde (1942), Anita Ekberg in Call Me Bwana (1963), and Jane Russell in The Paleface (1948), and a gorilla (“The one time Crosby let me win the girl.”)

Hope relates that he has the same dream every night, all alone with his leading ladies. The dream materializes, and Hope is seen in a tuxedo in an elegant, cloud-like setting with fountains and chandeliers. He sees Marilyn Maxwell and they slow dance.

Maxwell: “Bob, when are we going to do another picture together?” Hope: “Don't be greedy. I put you in this dream, didn't I?”

Maxwell dances off and is replaced by Rhonda Fleming.

Fleming: “Is this a private dream, or can anyone cut in?”

Fleming asks for a kiss. Hope dips her and up comes Arlene (“with the beauty spot”) Dahl. Dahl sings “I Believe In You,” a song written by Frank Loesser for the 1961 Broadway musical How To Succeed in Business...Without Really Trying. Maxwell and Fleming join Dahl in singing to Hope.  The three women vanish as the show goes to commercial.

Back with the Doctor in his dressing room Bob is having his blood pressure taken. 

Hope (muttering): “Shirley Ross, Martha Hyer, Yvonne DeCarlo, Milly Vitale, Vera Zorina, Betty Grable...”

While he's listing the women, the blood pressure cuff balloons!  The Doctor asks Hope when it all started, and a flashback begins at Schwab's Drugstore 28 years earlier (1938). [An establishing slide of the exterior of Schwab's looks nothing like the actual Hollywood landmark.]  

In the flashback, Hope walks into the drug store with a head of dark hair, sunglasses, yellow shoes, pink trousers, and a purple check sport coat. Virginia Mayo is behind the pharmacy counter.

Hope: “I got so many jobs right now I'm trying to decide between a big musical for Arthur Freed or a comedy for George Marshall.”

George Marshall would later direct several on-location episodes of “Here’s Lucy.”  Marshall had first directed Ball in Valley of the Sun (1942) and with Hope in Fancy Pants (1950). 

Mayo says she's working on a new act, but one of her two partners is quitting. She calls the act in and it is a pantomime horse. Mayo intimates that Hope could play the back end to “take advantage of his best side.”

Bob runs into Janis Paige. He tries to convince her to be his escort to a soiree. While pasting his 8 by 10 over magazine covers, he meets Joan Collins. They have lunch together at the soda fountain counter where Hope criticizes everything she orders. Janis Paige grabs him away and sings “Big Spender,” a song written by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields for the 1966 Broadway musical Sweet Charity. Mayo and Collins join her.  

Back in the dressing room, the Doctor leaves Bob with a prescription and Harvey Sarnoff returns to introduce Hope to Hank Hellman (Peter Leeds), a reporter. After checking the room for spies, Bob announces that he's going to make Gone With The Wind as a musical.

Hellman: “It'll be bigger than 'My Fair Lady' and 'Mary Poppins' combined!”

Actually, there was a Gone With The Wind musical by Harold Rome – on the London stage. It premiered in 1972 and was revived in 2008. The search for an actress to play Scarlett O'Hara for the original 1939 film was one of Hollywood's biggest publicity stunts, with over 1,400 actresses auditioned before the role went to Vivien Leigh. 

On a sound stage, Vera Miles walks off her latest picture thinking she is the one to play Scarlet.

At an airport, Joan Caulfield cancels a trip thinking she is the next Scarlett.

At her home, Dina Merrill tells her maid to unpack because Bob Hope needs her.

At a corner newsstand, Signe Hasso tells a news vendor that she's from the south – of Sweden - so ideal for Scarlett.

At the beauty salon, Phyllis Diller is perusing a magazinethat makes her think she's the one to get the role.

At Bob Hope's home, he's getting ready for bed. Hedy Lamarr shows up to thank him for casting her. Joan Fontaine is on her way up, so Hope asks Lamarr to study the script – in the closet. When he hears Dorothy Lamour is coming, he stows Fontaine in another room. Hearing sirens, he tells Lamour to wait in the bathroom. It is Lucy!

Lucile Ball arrives pedaling an adult-size tricycle with Smithers (Jerry Collona), her chauffeur behind her. 

Hope: “Lucille Ball!  What happened to your car?” Ball: “Oh, Gary got up earlier than I did.”

Like the other leading ladies, Lucy is convinced she's the one playing Scarlett. As a young RKO contract player, Lucille Ball was one of the 1,400 actresses considered for the role in the 1939 MGM film. Soon, all the women come into the room demanding to know which one has been cast.  

Including a surprise contender with a black veil – Phyllis Diller, who gets the part!

In this scene, Lucille Ball and Bob Hope crack each other up to the point that Lucy looks to the director as if to say “Are we cutting or not?” The other actresses in the sequence are all directed to acknowledge the studio audience's entrance applause before going back into the scene. The scene is somewhat clumsily filmed and edited, with the boom mic frequently in the shot, and even the end of the bedroom carpet visible.  

After a preview of “And Baby Makes Five,” the next presentation on “Bob Hope Presents The Chrysler Theatre,” Hope and all the leading ladies (each on their own) sing “Thanks For the Memory” with special lyrics about Bob Hope. Lucy's verse compares him to Turhan Bey, a Turkish actor active in Hollywood from 1941 to 1953.  

“Lucy the Bean Queen” (TLS S5;E3) ~ was aired on CBS two days earlier,  September 26, 1966. Interestingly, Lucille Ball wears the same blue shirt that she wears on the “Bob Hope Show”!

Analysis: What the immigration 'crisis' debate is missing Cillizza: How did we get here so quickly? Biden has only been president for 51 days! Is this the result of one specific policy change? Or a series of them? Shoichet: People who follow immigration closely will tell you the latest situation at the border has been building for a while. We were seeing numbers climbing in late 2020, too. It’s really important to remember that people migrate for many reasons, and who is president of the United States is often not a huge part of the equation. Sure, it might be a factor that nudges someone who’s undecided one way or the other. And some migrants near the Mexico-Guatemala border who recently spoke to CNN did mention that they were hopeful that the new administration would be more sympathetic to immigration. But we have seen a number of major events recently impacting the region of the world where many of these migrants are coming from — two devastating hurricanes and endemic poverty issues that were exacerbated by a pandemic being chief among them. Experts call these “push factors” (compared to “pull factors,” which would be things in the US that incentivize people to come). And they really should be a big part of the conversation about what’s happening right now and why. In terms of what has changed during the Biden administration, a significant policy change that’s led to some of what we’re seeing is that the US is no longer using the pandemic to immediately turn away children at the border — many of whom are seeking asylum. That’s something the Trump administration did pretty early on, along with a lot of other changes that used the pandemic to crack down on immigration. The Biden administration has been very clear that they want to take a more humanitarian approach at the border. And that means they are no longer turning away the unaccompanied minors that are showing up. Cillizza: Is it fair to describe what is happening on the southern border right now as a crisis? Why or why not? Shoichet: I am very careful about using that word because when we call things a “crisis” the conversation goes into a pretty hyperbolic place very quickly, where the facts sort of fade into the background and political debate takes over. I’ve been covering immigration for years and we’ve seen periodic frenzy around the border over and over again. At a certain point, you have to ask, is this a crisis, or is this a regular migration pattern that ebbs and flows because of a number of factors? Having said that, there are very serious issues going on at the border that we should all be paying attention to. Among them: * There’s a record high number of kids in [Customs and Border Protection] facilities, and they’re being held there longer than [the limit] the law requires. * There are still thousands of people waiting in Mexico — many of them in dire and dangerous conditions — while their immigration cases make their way through US courts. * There appears to be an uptick in the number of migrants arriving (though we need to be careful about these numbers, because they may be counting individuals multiple times). And climate change and natural disasters are likely one reason why. Cillizza: What is the Biden administration doing — in terms of concrete actions — to deal with what is happening? Shoichet: This is a fast-moving situation and we’re still waiting to learn more about what the Biden administration is doing. One effort that was discussed at a White House press briefing this week is an effort to address the “root causes” of immigration (these are the push factors I mentioned earlier). Ambassador Roberta Jacobson, special assistant to the president and coordinator for the southern border, said the administration wants to spend $4 billion over four years to do this (one big question to keep in mind about this: We’ve heard other administrations say they’re going to do this before, too — and they’ve tried. What could the Biden administration do differently this time?) Jacobson also said the administration is trying to open up more avenues for people to immigrate legally, such as the Central American Minors program, which provides a pathway for children in the region to reunite with parents in the United States. Cillizza: Republicans have seized on the border situation and Biden’s immigration plan as “left-wing amnesty.” How fair is that? Or not? Shoichet: I don’t want to get into putting a value judgment on political rhetoric on either side of the aisle. But one thing I can say is the Biden administration would feel that’s an unfair characterization for a number of reasons. It’s certainly true that from the beginning of this administration they have said they’re prioritizing immigration and pushing to create a more just and humane and functional system. Legislation President Biden has proposed would provide a pathway to citizenship for millions of people. That would be a huge change, the likes of which we haven’t seen since President Reagan’s amnesty measure in the 1980s. There was a brief honeymoon period at the very beginning of the Biden administration. But advocates on the left have started to become increasingly critical of this administration and I think would argue that there’s nothing radical about various things that are being proposed — and also that there’s a big gap still between words and actions. They’re waiting for this administration to start really walking the walk. But one key point is that painting immigration as a partisan issue is problematic. I have traveled all over the country talking to people on many sides of this topic, and when you are actually talking with people about their communities it ends up being a lot less political than you might think. Back in 2011, for example, I profiled the Republican mayor of a small town in Georgia — a farming community — who counted a family of undocumented immigrants among his closest friends. And if you look at polling data, there are a lot of people who agree that the existing immigration system isn’t working. Cillizza: Finish this sentence: “The single best metric to watch as it relates to when we will know the border situation is improving is ________.” Now, explain. Shoichet: I’ll take a stab at answering this question, but one thing I would like to point out first is that we get really caught up in numbers and data about the border because it’s information that’s more readily available and of course it gives us some sort of big-picture indicator of the situation. But these are people’s lives we’re talking about — many of whom have fled danger, or who are desperately seeking economic opportunities, or who are doing what they can to survive. And I fear sometimes the focus on numbers is so abstract that it’s dehumanizing and also gets us away from talking about what is really going on and what that means for a person’s life or for a community. OK, now I’ll fill in that blank. I’d say at this moment the best metric to watch is a number our colleague Priscilla Alvarez has been following very closely — the total number of kids in CBP custody and the average length of time they’re being held. The reason why this is so important is because right now, there’s sort of a perfect storm of circumstances that could really put people’s safety at risk. In part because of the pandemic, and in part because of the sheer number of people arriving, there isn’t enough bed space in the shelters for unaccompanied minors run by the Department of Health and Human Services. So children are being held on average in CBP facilities longer than the 72-hour limit the law requires. The reason there are those limits is because there have been a lot of concerns about making sure children who are in US custody are adequately cared for. And we’ve seen and heard alarming things about conditions in CBP custody before when there have been increases in the number of immigrants held in facilities that don’t have enough capacity or aren’t designed, for example, to take care of children. And I think no matter where someone stands on immigration as an issue, everyone should be able to agree that it’s extremely important for children not to be put at risk by any government policy.
