I really like this concept. That Sonic can't really control himself, Eggman's takes control of him by "robotizing" him. I can't find much material on this concept. Especially as a comic. But, @multiisketch gave us this! I'm looking forward to every episode! I hope I don't die of excitement until all the episodes arrive. 💙✌️

Mecha Sonic Mark 1

So in Sonic The Hedgehog 2 people were introduced to Mecha Sonic as one of the bosses on the Death Egg. While material like Archie Sonic called him Silver Sonic and Lego Dimensions called him Robo Sonic, his name is Mecha Sonic and was intended to be that from the start. In the concept art his name is labeled as Mecha Sonic and he has a MS on his arm referencing this fact. This is also a reference to the MG on the arm of Showa Mechagodzilla. This is also further backed up by Mecha Sonic Mark 1 was originally going to be in Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles before their successor Mecha Sonic Mark 2 took their place.

Finally because of this, official merch of Mecha Sonic Mark 1 has their name labeled as Mecha Sonic.

I have been looking for this comic since I’ve seen it on YouTube!!! I hate it when people don’t credit the artist, or try to hide who the artist is by making it nearly impossible to see the watermark of said creator.

Early concept for a project thingy I got going on. Four months of work and I'm almost done with the line art for the first "issue". Been lots of fun and great practice but man am I regretting those hand pieces...

Designs are based off of Gameland Sonic from Sonic Colors, a version of a Roboticized Sonic from Archie and a bit of influence from the Roboticized Master, Sonic Man. I thought it would be cool to write a story about "stages" of roboticization and wanted to do a story that was also a bit silly. Sonic Boom feels like the most appropriate world to play in for that.
