Garmin has introduced its latest smartwatches in India – the Forerunner 965 and 265 series, designed to cater to fitness enthusiasts and athletes. The smartwatches feature advanced specs and features, including an AMOLED display, long battery life, and several health monitoring options.

Garmin Forerunner 965: Premium Smartwatch with Long-Lasting Battery

The Forerunner 965 is a premium smartwatch with a titanium bezel and a 1.4-inch circular AMOLED display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 DX. It is the longest-lasting smartwatch with an AMOLED display, with up to 23 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and 31 days in GPS mode. The smartwatch offers advanced health monitoring features, including the ability to monitor heart rate, sleep, SpO2 levels, menstruation cycles, and respiration rate, all via the Garmin Connect app. The Forerunner 965 is also equipped with Wrist-Based Running Dynamics, offering real-time access to advanced running metrics such as cadence, stride length, ground contact time, and more.

Garmin Forerunner 265 Series: Two Smartwatches with Long Battery Life and Multiple Health Monitoring Options

The Forerunner 265 series comprises two smartwatches – the Forerunner 265 Music and the Forerunner 265s Music. Both models feature a Gorilla Glass 4 lens and a 1.3-inch AMOLED display option, offering a battery life of 13 days in smartwatch mode and 20 hours in GPS mode. The smartwatches feature advanced health monitoring options such as Stamina and Acute Chronic Workload Ratio to monitor physical exertion and prevent excessive fatigue or soreness. Additionally, users can monitor their training status/load, training effectiveness, VO2 max, and respiration rate through the Garmin Connect app.

Health and Fitness Monitoring Features on Both Smartwatches

Both smartwatches offer multiple health monitoring options, including the ability to monitor heart rate, sleep, SpO2 levels, menstruation cycles, and respiration rate, among others. The smartwatches also offer over 30 sports profiles, a specialized triathlon mode, and a ‘Training Readiness’ feature that enables users to check their current fitness level before a workout session. They are rated 5ATM for water resistance.

The Forerunner 965 is priced at Rs 67,490 and comes in either Black or Amp Yellow colors, while the Forerunner 265 Music (Black/ Aqua) and Forerunner 265S Music (Black/ Pink) are priced at Rs. 50,490.
