This might be the only one I do for Ectoberhaunt this year. Got to much work on my plate and all the promos only had me thinking of this crossover au.

Last night I was talking with a friend who’s a casual Star Trek fan. She said, “I heard somewhere that Star Trek did mpreg once. That has to be made up, right?” I explained what happened in that episode of Enterprise including the fact that Trip grew nipples on his wrists. (I forgot about the time on Lower Decks when Rutherford got pregnant). My friend also said, “Someone told me that Kirk recited the US Constitution in front of a lot of shirtless men. That can’t be real.” It’s impossible to explain The Omega Glory in a way that makes sense but I tried. Later, she asked me if it’s true that Picard met an inter dimensional god. It was also difficult to explain who/what Q is.

The moral:

Star Trek is always weirder than you assume it will be.

The most genuinely shocking moment I've experienced watching Lower Decks. I'm also rarely more interested in Rutherford-based stories (no offense, Lieutenant), but this one was the star of the show. Well, except for Tendi's story. Cuddle pile!
