2am art dump but I redrew an old oc I made when I was 17 (coincidentally I made her around my birthday). She was a rwby oc back when I used to be in the rwby oc community; she was how I got into the rp scene on here too.

Chris Jean was my previous main blorbo before Phoebe haha, and arguably CJ had the coral pink-teal ish colour combo first (before Phoebe). Although CJ's initial design was just grey, white, and teal. I combined the first design with a 2018 redesign to make this version of her. Just for fun :)

Making up rwby team names is hard if your ocs already have names but CAML (camel) might work even if it sounds dumb or CADL (Cardinal) works too or CAFL (camoflauge) but that’s just disingenuous to the characters.

Or I could always switch Casey’s partner to the new person and make them COAL/CRAL (coral).

i wanna make a little mermaid rwby oc so here i go-

- part fish faunus. haven’t quite worked out it all but im thinking gills and good swimming ability and some scales, maybe some webbed toes

- her semblance is dissolving into sea foam. someone rushes her and she explodes a little like neo’s shattered mirror illusion. she can reform completely from a single bubble of the foam which can splash off in different directions so she can come at her opponent from any direction

- she has a girlfriend named erica with a sailor and water theme.

- she’s from menagerie but moved to one of the four kingdoms to attend an academy (with her hair over her neck she can pass for human in the street, but everyone close to her knows she’s a faunus)

- loves salty baths

- a trident weapon seems pretty cliche so im thinking something different. maybe something with coral reef and shells. the shells are grenades? a rusty sword that looks like it’s from a shipwreck but’s actually deceiving because it’s imbued with dust?

Ooh, tough one...I guess it would have to be Time to Say Goodbye from RWBY? I always think of my characters when I hear it. They would be fighting all anime style with menacing Hammerheads in the shadows watching them. XD

2. Do you write a poetic prose or do you prefer something more straightforward?

Delilah, Merlin, and Pepper are children, Cress and Eclipse as well.

Aunt Mathers runs a successful spa in Crabshore. She likes to live simple though. Never liked the silver spoon in her mouth.

Torrent is a retired Defender (soldier) but a current teacher of Soul Studies at Jade Prep

Lois was a stay at home mother, Kilorn was a Defender at the time of their death.

Sunny is a retired choir director, currently she is the teacher of Siren magic at Jade Prep.

Shell is the head of the Defenders, a General. 

Coral...well...she works in New Orleans and does palm readings and spirit connections. 

Umira is Queen of Jade Island, constantly busy and rarely seen.

7. What makes you excited to write your story?

The fact I’m fulfilling a childhood dream is enough <3

8. If your novel was already published, which part of your story/chapter would you be more anxious to see the readers reactions?

The fight scenes, I’m horrible at them... XD

9. What’s the line you’ve written that made you proud?

An anxious mind swirls, spirals more like, into a tangled and twisted darkness. Where your nightmares live, where nothing makes sense. It is not a sustainable world by any means, but it thrives in those who shine the brightest smiles. 

10. Which OCs don’t get togethe3r, but you could see being a nice couple?

Merlin and Delilah. They would bond on books and blankets and cuddle all night long, but no they will not be ending up together, sorry ^^;
