I just want to talk about their body language for a moment. Because I saw someone say Barcode looked distant at the event. This here? Is maximum familiarity. Barcode is very at ease with Jeff's touches. There's no apprehension, he allows himself to be pulled closer, to have Jeff's arm slung over his shoulder and to have Jeff's other hand in front of him. Like this, Jeff's arms almost surround him. And Barcode's hands are busy, he's holding the cake so he's in a vulnerable position. With his hands occupied if anything gets too much, if Jeff gets too close, Barcode can't use his hands to put up a barrier. But he doesn't look uncomfortable in the slightest. This speaks about the trust and bond between them. Something people might not notice, but we subconsciously put up a barrier when someone we're uncomfortable with invades our personal space. We step back, or we put our hands up, we express in our body language that we're uneasy. So this isn't a position you'd be comfortable in unless you trust that person a lot. Barcode clearly does. And Jeff "I like my personal space" Satur is all over Barcode like it's the most normal and natural thing. He has said many times that he likes his personal space and even when it comes to physical contact he likes skinship, but he prefers to be the one to initiate it. He doesn't like when his personal bubble is invaded. But that's clearly not the case when it comes to Barcode. Because when it comes to Barcode he likes getting hugged even if it's sudden, and there's no hesitation in getting close. Personal space what personal space? Clearly Jeff has double standards. I also want to compare Jeff with his brother Jesse (when Jesse and their mum went to visit Jeff at his birthday event) versus Jeff with Barcode.

In the first picture Jeff is blowing the candles and in the second with Barcode he's about to do it. Do you notice the difference? The cake is between Jeff and Jesse as Jeff blows the candles. On the other hand he's touching Barcode, his hand is on Barcode's shoulder. He doesn't even let go of Barcode while he blows them.

Then we have this. While Jesse is saying happy birthday to him Jeff looks very happy and fond. He keeps smiling and laughing. But there's plenty of space between them. But while Barcode is giving him his happy birthday wishes Jeff holds the mic for him and has his arm slung over his shoulder.

This all speaks to how comfortable Jeff and Barcode are with each other. This event only proved that they won't let something like Jeff leaving BOC break their bond. They have said that they will support each other, now and in the future, and have said many times that they are each other's safe zone. And I'm very happy they found each other. Because in this industry having a safe zone is a very rare and precious thing.
