STEVIE NASH
so i have some personal thoughts or headcanons and the like i wanted to share about our girl stevie nash and i was keen to hear some of your guys’ thoughts, even if you don’t agree, though if you don’t please be kind about it.
primarily i think i wanna talk about my main two in this post.
first of all i think stevie may also have autism, at least i headcanon her that way anyway. i am autistic myself, so it’s self projection to an extent i know, but i do see some of the traits i have in her, and traits of others i know too. i did mention my personal autistic stevie hc in a comment section on tiktok and got rinsed for it which was a bit sad. the general gist was “stevie’s not autistic, she can’t be. she’s just very _____ & so _____” i didn’t bother to point out that what they were describing were indeed often strong indicators of autism or other neurodifferences, because why bother with people who get combative over a difference of opinion lmao so anyways..
secondly, i feel that she gives off very sapphic vibes, some of the women i ship stevie with/could also see it are:
faith cadogan
jodie whyte
rida amaan
nicole piper
ngozi okoye
jac naylor (yes i know she’s dead rip)
zosia march (yes i know she left holby)
sahira shah (yes i know she left too)
any polyamorous combination of the above

I know when I said a couple of days ago that I'd prefer to see Sahira on Casualty with her original backstory of being Henrik's mentee who met him in the 1990s restored - and the "childhood best friends" retcon completely disregarded - rather than have Henrik turn up there, I was expressing frustration about Henrik's characterisation in the last few years of Holby.
But also, seriously, I actually do believe Sahira moving to Casualty could provide some great material!
In particular, I think Sahira and Stevie could have some really interesting scenes together, considering that they were both victims of emotional abuse from someone in a management position: Henrik for Sahira, Marcus for Stevie. There's a lot of potential for very powerful, emotionally impactful scenes there.
I don't really expect Sahira moving to Casualty to ever happen, but the more I think about it the more I think it should. Initially I thought her switching medical specialities would be a bit contrived, but it would actually be completely understandable for her to want to take a different career path, as a way of putting her trauma behind her - and since she left in 2012, she could easily have a different career by now. And, again, there's so much potential with the parallels between her and Stevie that it would be worth it.

This was exceptionally fun to work on 💜
I may have a soft spot for silvery blues, shiny things, and foxes. Here's "Lulu" for @kaithral.bsky.social as a volunteer gift art! I needed to flex my halloween muscles. Work got in the way a bit but it's still autumn!

Outing myself as a kabumisu shipper and going to post the names of the child ocs I gave them. I had one than I had three then seven, I finally thought I would stop at nine but now they have fourteen and only two of them are boys. Yes that is a twelve dancing princesses reference. Oldest to youngest their names are Valli, Iris, Thea, Vardan, Myrtle, Alexander, Anjali, Astraea, Vipasha, Geeta, Ratna, Niharika, Sahira and Kiara. This is so many. Might delete later. I think even people who like stories where characters become parents would think this is too much.

his was the last time he walked before the occupation soldiers and settlers decided to execute him in cold blood and fired 13 hateful bullets into his spine and feet.
Name: Ayman Al-Kurd, Palestinian from Jerusalem.. When: 2016 Location: Bab al-Sahira, Jerusalem Sentenced to: 35 years in prison and a fine of 100,000 shekels.
In 2016, Ayman was walking in his land, his country, and his homeland near Bab al-Sahira in Jerusalem. Ayman was subjected to a cold-blooded execution attempt. The occupation police fired 13 bullets at him, as a result of which he was left paralyzed from the waist down. They left him bleeding in the street for a period of time without providing him with treatment or first aid.
Bullet fragments are still stuck in Ayman’s body, and he suffers from a policy of medical neglect and denial of treatment. Ayman's dream is to get treatment, get rid of his pain, and relax! Ayman is still detained in the occupation prisons and does not sleep due to the severity of his pain.

I am obsessed with the pictures of one of the belly dancers, Sahira, with the billowy white fabric? All of them are great , but in one she's like - the eye of the storm. Her expression, so utterly focused, the way the fabric was moving, idk it's just captivating. I've seen you write about wanting to capture how dance feels, which, I'm usually very literal and I really didn't get what you meant. I get it now. Also now I really want to dance
I know exactly which photo you mean and I hope you don't mind me telling her you said this because she's one of my teachers.
