Now that 2022 is over, I want to say thank you for being a part of why I have enjoyed this year.

Somehow, I keep getting notifications concerning my posts every time I check my Tumblr, every day.

I feel like you all welcomed me in here, despite the fact that I only joined Tumblr in 2020, during the pandemic. (Or maybe shortly before, but that is not the point)

I wonder what else the future will bring, and, as I am typing this final post of the year, I wish you can all end the year with a smile, and that the new one will bring you a reason to be happy.

Enjoy what's next, because, even if they will not go down in history, every day deserves to be remembered.

Giving: Acts of Service

This squeaker expresses her love through helping out anywhere she can. She wants to be helpful and make your day easier. She's always looking for the moment to give a helping hand. Telling others she loves them always turns her into a stuttering mess and physical touch flusters her to no end, aiding just feels RIGHT!

Receiving: Words of Affirmation

Oh, a simple compliment could turn her into putty, let me tell you. She would hold her paws close to her chest and would try her best not to cry, someone telling her how much they appreciate her and everything she does would maker her feel the most loved.

Giving: Gifts

Sarj is quite the busy creature, on top of that, they feel words simply can't express how they feel about their loved ones. It would take a while for them to figure it how to go about it, but as time goes on, they notice certain objects remind them of people they care for, or how those people could find the random bits and bobs useful/delightful. Sarj would scratch the back of their neck and not look you in the eyes while giving you trinkets or tools, muttering "Reminded me of you" or "Thought you would find it useful".

Receiving: Physical Touch

TOUCH STARVED BEAST ALERT-

The whole curse accident made them avoid people, and for a long time they thought they don’t even miss physical affection, (because “who the hell would even want to touch someone as disgusting as me”) but oh boy were they wrong! After settling down in Moominvalley and getting used to the side effects of the curse, they became more relaxed. Then.. they had an epiphany..  people patting their back, holding their hand- the smallest touches possible, make their brain short circuit! “Whatthehellisgoingon???” they would panic internally at first, poor ratta.

Please please please hold them, let them melt into your arms, they’re tall and they want to be held so bad, even tho they haven’t realized that yet!

This slick little shit, ohhh dear- Shaun REVELS in giving compliments and flustering and annoying people, but with individuals he really cares for? Frickin???

He’s a big softy. A menace, a gigantic softy. He comes up with very specific and sweet nicknames. Will always find something on you to point out and tell you how lovely you look. Thanks you for everything, informs you how proud he is of you. Knows EXACTLY what to say to comfort you, will always let you know how impressed he is with the things you do.

Receiving: Quality Time

Since his loved ones are not immortal, he understands they’re probably busy and don’t have much time to waste. He has long years ahead of him, but they don’t. It would be selfish of him to ask them to spend time with him for a bit. Right..? So instead of asking, he waits.

Becomes super sentimental during quiet moments, when he’s just watching the clouds or stars with you, or when you show up and ask him if he wants to hang out. Imps by nature live for attention. In his case, these occasions make him feel special and loved and wanted. You really do want to waste your precious moments goofing off with him? Get treasured forever, ya fool

Daigo felt the pull within him first. His head snapped up, hands frozen on the work before him ; slowly, he stood in response to the pendant suddenly glittering gold at his throat. Daigo looked at his stepdaughter, mouth opened, but the smile she wore told him everything he needed to know. Hopeless. He nodded at her with a jagged grin ― and away he went.

The once - mortal soul ( convincing with its human vessel featuring old scars, a beating heart, and perpetual warmth ) ran along the route the item around his neck recommended. Those that would have been in his way darted to the side out of respect for both his haste and title. "Prince Consort," they acknowledged, though referring to Daigo like that didn't often get his attention. He had a far better, more intimate name for himself, anyway. Husband.

There was a small crowd out there already. As to be expected : the homecoming of a god merited greeting. However, the individuals present parted for Daigo. His black hair, unbound, flowed behind him ; his dark eyes glittered with unbridled excitement ; and he stared into the water at the twisting shape swimming closer with an intensity even death had never been able to break. Ebony robes edged in red settled. The ex - yakuza's heartbeat roared in his ears. Seeing Ryu . . . fuck, he felt alive.

"Hello, beautiful," Daigo whispered.

The moment he breaches the unseen line between the mortal and the beyond (sunset become sunrise, the world flipping over), the stone in a ring hanging on a chain around his neck emits a pulse. The water shivers with it, inadvertently charged with magic, and the sparks of power travel all along the long, long metres of his body.

Ryuujin can't do much smiling in a form like this, but the corner of his mouth tugs a measure anyway, sharp teeth exposed in a seemingly endless abyss of deep water.

Then he bursts forward.

Water rushes around him, the dark of the deep sea left behind for the natural shine of a world that follows no rules of logic. The light makes the orange in his scales shimmer, the oft-hidden colour exposed and gorgeous, and as Ryuujin appears in the horizon of his kingdom, the dragon king roars.

There's nothing flashy about the way his body moves, looping in circles before he dashes straight once more-- only joy, pure and true as Ryuujin swims home. He hears the little ones cheer about the king being home even from a distance, but as he comes closer, metre by metre until he can see, the happiness he feels being welcomed home isn't nearly as strong as the happiness he feels seeing his beloved again.

Ryuujin's nostrils flare as Daigo calls him beautiful, picked up even at this distance. He can't speak like this, but the thought is clear in his head all the same: Daigo.

Never gone, not truly, always in the back of his mind; Ryuujin feels a familiar ache in his chest, and so he raises his front paw and spreads his claws outward.

He's close now, but his impatience is clear, and there're too many people around for him to do what he wants to do. So the water around Daigo bubbles, then swirls in contained currents, enveloping him in a gentle embrace before Ryuujin pulls his paw back. Like Daigo's being lifted in one of his hands, the water brings his human higher towards him, and with a flashing shine of teeth Ryuujin surges forward to meet him halfway.

Without hesitation, his head presses into Daigo's person, a warm huff of air rustling his robes. The water he'd dragged with him as he swam lurches forward to arc around them, but by then Ryuujin's body's curled enough to shield Daigo from all of it.

Two hands, more familiar to him than anything, land on his scales and stroke him. The sweetest lips he's known press kisses and words of affection into his head. Ryuujin's chest eases as he nuzzles his husband's tiny frame, and soon all the adrenaline in his body fades, bit by bit until he's relaxed and happy.

I'm home, he thinks as he pulls back enough to meet Daigo's deep, dark eyes with his orange ones.

Ryuujin's teeth show in a grin, and as the water calms around them, his wedding ring settles pleasantly against his scales.

Sometimes it feels like it's just way too easy to generate buzz with DCEU fans. You can literally say ANYTHING and they would believe it.

Like, a website could post something like "from now on, Bruce Wayne will be Wonder Woman" and at least one comment would be like "ugh! I'm so done with DC!", taking it for an absolute truth, even if the website is called something like "I don't post real news I'm just trolling you for the lulz".

Boas noites, venho aqui eu, um nobre bardo do tempo perdido pelo Furthest ring pedir algumas dicas. Quais suas opniões sobre viagens pelo mesmo??, maneiras de lidar com os horrorterrors para se ter uma viagem tranquila pelo infinito?

Bom, permita-me mostrar a luz no fim do túnel.

Primeiramente abandone seus mapas, eles não funcionarão no reino dos “deuses”, nem mapas, nem bússolas, nem GPS e nem qualquer tipo de aparelho para apontar direções, então tudo isso é inútil.

No vazio absoluto da não-existência distância, tempo e outros conceitos como esses são irrelevantes, a única coisa que habita o vazio são os próprios Horrorterrors e, periodicamente, bolhas de sonho que eles produzem.

Normalmente o único modo de viajar através do vazio é com um Void player extremamente experiente, mas como creio que você não tem um desse em mãos, existem algumas (poucas) alternativas.

1) Você pode tentar perguntar aos Horrorterrors, normalmente sou contra pedir ajuda ou conselhos a essas criaturas hediondas, mas as vezes pode ser necessário, como você é um jogador do tempo, assumo que tenha sido um sonhador de Derse, o que te garante um bônus nessa negociação, mas se eles começarem a sussurrar e fazer promessas abissais, recuse e saia.

2) Você pode seguir a esmo para lugar algum, pode não parecer uma boa ideia a princípio, mas no vazio não existe direção, sentido ou distância, portanto seguir a esmo tem a mesma chance de te levar a algum lugar do que tentar seguir um caminho de ida ou volta, e mais, simplesmente seguir reto cansa menos que tentar achar um caminho.

Se durante suas viagens você encontrar outra sessão e decidir entrar nela para descansar, evite ser visto pelos jogadores dela, tentar explicar o que ocorreu pode ser complicado, ou pior, alguém pode decidir imitar você e sajr para o vazio.

No geral é isso.

Present Tense!

As you might know, Maltese verbs don’t have infinitive forms, verbs are shown in the third person masculine of the past tense. Though to form the present tense you don’t really need this form, you need to know the imperative from (commands) of the verb to conjugate it.

Imperatives in Maltese come in two pairs: singular, and plural. Plural imperatives usually end in -u (sometimes -w!)

How to conjugate a verb.

Unlike most European languages, where you just change the ending of the verb to conjugate it, Maltese adds affixes (meaning at the front).

If the imperative singular ends with a vowel followed by a consonant, the vowel is dropped when conjugating plural pronouns.

N – I

T – you

J – he

T – she

for plurals (remember the -u/-w at the end!)

N – we

T – you

J – they

the 2nd person singular and 3rd for she are the same!

Examples:

1. to work – aħdem (imp.sg.)

naħdem – I work

taħdem – you work

jaħdem – he works

Present Continuous

all you need is to add qed in front of the conjugated verbs. this is the short form though, the full forms are:

qiegħed  – (masc.sg.)

qiegħda – (fem.sg.)

qiegħdin – (pl.)

naħdem – I work qed naħdem – I am working

some exceptions under the cut.

Some additional information would be that this is a general rule and that there are a few exceptions with other verbs. 

Most importantly I’d like to add that sometimes for the first personal singular the conjugation can change to in- (But this vowel is dropped if the last letter of the previous word in the sentence ends in a vowel too.) Compare:

jien inħobb 

jiena nħobb

both mean “I love!”

and to conclude..

verbs starting with s-, get an extra s- for the affix for you & she (instead of t)
