tbh i think the coldest and most shocking thing that can happen in an argument with this man is if you call him "john" and he corrects you to "constantine". biggest red flag you can find on the play. sounds pretentious when you're not experiencing it. means he's absolutely fucking furious with you.

#like here's the thing: he's not going to correct you if he doesn't know you or like you. he won't give anyone that power over him #he won't ever let some random jackass know they've gotten under his skin. it's just not worth the effort to him.#so if he's correcting you? it means you know him on a personal level. it means you're at Bare Minimum good friends #and it means he's so fucking angry that he's rescinding your place in his life until the argument is resolved. the castle gates are closed #you are now on professional speaking terms until this is resolved and the professional constantine is a real nasty piece of work #who will not spare your feelings or try to salvage whatever you've built with him. professional constantine wants the job Done #i've talked before about how little effort his father put into naming him after his mum died and how unemotional john's been about it since #and how unique it must feel when someone says 'john' to him with love or care or compassion after a lifetime of hearing it in anything but #like his first name doesn't usually mean a lot to him! its use is not a closely guarded privilege!#but if he cares about you then calling him 'john' can feel as intimate to him as a kiss #and if you burn him he will snatch that level of access away from you for Months. sometimes Years.#so! yeah!! if he ever corrects your name choice in an argument then you've Really Fucked Up Buddy!!!!#( also. hypocrite that he is. if you're on 'john' terms and you call him 'constantine' in an argument FIRST he will be absolutely WOUNDED )#( and he will cover with that professional veneer. that cold uncaring mask of anger. but it's trapped-cornered-animal anger )#( it's let-me-cover-this-injury-before-you-can-really-get-your-fingers-in-it defensiveness. and he will be cautiously distant afterwards )#( headcanons. ) I'M JUST LIKE THE BASTARDS I'VE HATED ALL ME LIFE.

I know this is such a petty gripe but my god I miss the art of making a good title.

#i’m fully aware that as someone whose story is one word this is going to sound hypocritical but #these one word titles have just been so silly to me. ‘Alpha’ ‘Guarded’ like girls come on let’s make an effort #mind you I feel like Alpha is only silly IF it is another omegaverse/werewolf romance book #if it’s something completely unrelated it’s immediately a less silly title #and imo you could make it at least 30% less silly by just adding ‘the’ to the title. ‘The Alpha’#but GUARDED? idk if I can salvage that babes #playchoices #choices

unrelated to the Pasoori remake for SKK, i decided to listen to the Adipurush OST out of curiosity and the only song that makes sense musically to me on there is Huppa Huiyya. then again if Sukhwinder sings anything i am bound to listen to it so there's that

I think it's hilarious when people talk about surviving the zombie apocalypse or whatever because they always forget about one thing, Medication.

Legit just about everyone I know is on some sort of medication and you won't get that when the world ends. Yes, this includes glasses, those things break? That's it, you're blind, is that a zombie walking towards you or another survivor? Guess you'll have to wait to find out!

readers of my “to build a home” fic series (the one with all the flowers)........would you be mad if i retconned all the foreshadowing of min being in the polycule and cut her out of it and left it at rand/mat/elayne/avi, and gaslit you into thinking the previous installments never implied min was gonna be involved and you’re crazy for thinking they did? (if i went this route i would probably go back and edit the prior installments to get rid of these moments, so as not to look like an inconsistent clown to future readers of the series.)

#folks this is why you shouldn't start writing a fic series before you've finished consuming the original work and forming opinions about it #i wrote part 1 early in book 4 when i still liked min #parts 2 and 3 in books 6 and 7 when i was like 'weeeeell i don't like her but in part 1 i already committed to her being in the polycule #so in that case i don't mind salvaging her annoying book relationship with rand into a version i like better for this fic series'#but after book 8 and now into 9 i just don't want to see any more of min/rand than the books are already forcing me to lmao #and i've written a lot for part 4 and keep just going 'ah shit i need to shoehorn min into this scene that works fine without her'#she just feels extraneous and unnecessary despite my best efforts #..........my mediocre efforts because i simply do not like the character or ship enough to put in my best effort #okay so that obviously means the answer to 'should i yeet her out?' is a resounding yes and i'll probs do it BUT #i just want to know if you readers would be Too Jarred or Disappointed? or are you a fellow min/rand disliker and would be relieved?
