gods it's so tricky to think of these uhh, one of the most tragic things about European culture is that foxes in old folklore of the region are usually depicted as some kind of vile trickster, such as con artists dressed as monks to deceive chickens, or as the guy who sleeps with the wolf's wife and then evades persecution; here's an image of the former:

3. any interesting dreams recently?

I actually forgot to post one a little while ago... I should still have the draft in the gf-chat so maybe I should do that... as for one I didn't write down I also had a super scary nightmare featuring particularly scary looking brightly colored (mostly green) insects (~size of 4 keyboard keys) and even scarier paper-like frogs the extremely big circular mouth of one of which stuck to my thigh and wouldn't come off and it sort of ripped apart >.<

11. favorite type of berry?

the red currant is soooo good, goose berries are super nice too though, and I am warming up to blueberries which we are getting ahold of surprisingly often

26. any books that you re-read more than twice?

the early WataOshi volumes (reread every time a new one came out), same goes for a couple other LNs I think, also a huge amount of manga I reread a bunch of them like the polyam exam one all the time

it's black tea in the first half of the day, then green tea in the second half of the day; basically impossible to choose between them they are both essential to a good life

sour candy destroys my mouth if I eat too much of it, so probably chocolate? then again I can't eat a lot of chocolate in one go either and those sour dino claws are super good...

one of the many reasons the English language is as ****ed as it is is that the vikings didn't just raid England, but they at some point had an entire vast chunk of the east of England/Scotland under control, and that added a bunch of extra vocabulary on top of Anglo-Saxon Old English

the above is arguably a lot less worse though than the time the Normans (i.e. the French) conquered England, which came after the Vikings and fused the already strange mix of Celtic, English and Scandinavian with French

this also lead to the incredibly strange beef/cow -- pork/pig -- poultry/chicken etc. distinctions, the farmers who raised the animals were anglo-saxon, while the nobles who could afford to eat most of the meat were anglo-norman, so the English/Germanic words were used for the animals, while the French words were used for the meat that is eaten

if VNs count then Fatal Twelve Rinka would probably win, if we only count game games then Celeste Madeline, Rusted Moss Fern, Momodora Dora, LGTS Elise and Hinedere Beat Ayumi win on the character character front, while Lunacid Demi, Lost Kingdoms Katia and Helen's Mysterious Castle Helen sit on the second place of ''cool character design but the game doesn't have enough story to give them enough character''... and I'm probably forgetting some other girls too...

24. If you could live in one of the games you’ve played, which one would it be?

can't think of anything at the moment that could possibly beat the power fantasy of Stardew Valley in which I can pay all my nonexistent bills within 2 hours of a days work and can easily survive on 4 hours of sleep every day

I was once playing some game against my brother on our xbox 360 in the living room, and just as my mom was walking past I saw some form of victory opportunity and shouted "STIRB BRUDER!" ("DIE BROTHER!") and she was extremely aghast

oh geez that has got to be the hardest question on the list... uhhh

Adashima Shimamura being absolutely obsessed and in love with Adachi no matter how you look at it but not actually feeling all the wibbly wobbly amazing happiness feels her girlfriend does is kind of very relatable, same for her general cynical alienated from society attitude

on a similar note, my gf always teases me about how similar I am to Sasakoi Himari, as in, I also had a ton of 'but am I really in love with her? / how do I understand what that's like?'-moments at the beginning of our relationship. I am very much not a genki girl who easily makes friends though so the relatability ends with those moments

for similar/basically the same reasons as the two above YagaKimi Yuu is of course also very relatable

anything not romance related hmmm... the rat familar girl from the obscure niché trans webnovel I Signed Up To Be The Substitute Familiar Of A Struggling Witch To Pay My Bills And I'm Just Now Realizing... (buy on itch now for 5 bucks) is very relatable in all of her doesn't know what to do with life life issues

oh yeah and of course Carol Malus Dienheim my beloved (Symphogear) is incredibly relatable in her desire to dissolve the entire planet into nothingness, those are like 80% of my 'sitting in a subway, depressed, listening to loud music'-fantasies (much less of those now that I'm a girl and have a girlfriend but still it counts), also bonus points for her excellent aesthetic sense of making herself gay doll girl servants with spiked teeth

Aria the Animation Alice is also very relatable with her cute autistic attitudes, and social struggles and her attempts to act an adult, but also she ends up succeeding at a customer service job so by the end of Aria she totally outgrows anything I could ever hope to be

And I would of course also love to put Satsuki gay foxgirl of all time onto this list but alas I am nothing like her I could never be this responsible and cool and good at work and put-together, she's everything I would dare dream to be, nothing I am

hmmm I mean I was a lot of things when I was younger... I was a cheerful and loud little child who wanted to play in the doll house section but wasn't allowed... I was a kid who always tried their best to imitate their older brother's interests (those were known to be allowed) but with slight differences so there's some personal identity in it... I was a pseudo-edgy redditor teen who posted on /r/nihilism about existentialism convinced they sounded more enlightened than the everything is bleak and meaningless crowd... I was an idealistic but socially reclusive young adult who thought they could just learn enough social skills at uni somehow to become a teacher but then avoided most social confrontations...

so uh yes I guess

another thing that I think the original Toa did way better was their masks, like this is probably a matter of taste but:

the original masks (left) basically all look better imo and only Gali's (blue) and Kopaka's (white) new masks look decent the rest of the Toa Nuva masks all look kind of meh, there's just so many folds and ridges I cannot help but dislike them
