it has come to my attention that people are associating sastiel w/ w*ncest...NOT ON MY WATCH.

Now i said id be polite but yall are getting WAY too comfortable mashing up sastiel with w*ncest/w*irdcest. And the occasional "bringing sastiel down, uplifting destiel."

I need you to STOP and leave sastiel out of it. im tired of seeing them ugly fucking takes OR really interesting ones and then have w*ncest tagged RIGHT under it. STOP IT! do not act like we are outcasted losers like the rest of you (i cant believe im saying this) fake fujoshi, white woman, *ncest loving, brother sh*pping obsessed bitches on the sastiel tag. LEAVE. im tryna see some cool sastiel shit.

Currently reading: my FP's in process manuscript I'm really proud of him. It's amazing and I can't wait for to be finished and published😍❤️ (and thats not just my BPD talking). He's getting my advice (and other peoples advice) with writing some of characters because he wants to listen to real voices for some the sensitive topics (Sorry for vagueness I'm not sure how much he'd want about the book online right now bc he's in the early drafts still)

s16 starts out with Sam in bed, head ruffled and messy. He's mourning the death of brother. knowing there's nothing much to save him. Jack is somewhere in the world. Doing godly things he guesses. They stopped talking after jack killed chuck. What was there even to talk about. Sam doesn't care enough for his friend/ s̵̡̧̢̨̧͉̥̦̳̼͕̠͕̮̬͍̳̭̠̼̪̼̘͊͠ó̴͖̝̠͉̟͉̙̆n̷̛̘͉̻͖̜̫͕͇͖͗̎̀̐̓̋͑̈̽̄̓͗̆̂̒̐͗̓̿̑̑͗͑̾̇̍͝͝͝͝ͅ -now turned god. its upsetting really. He rolls in his bed and turns to the only other person next to him. His wife. His pal. His partner for. life....

Its Cas.

Cas is still asleep, with his princessy sleeping face on full display. Sam loves it. The almost quiet breathing. The way Cas' chest lifts up and down. The way Cas just looks perfect. Sam wants to take all of it. Then Cas shifts, turning to Sam. Eyes still closed. As if he knew Sam was staring.

"Morning Sam~"

Cas says in his almost monotone voice. A little tone of serene and love pushing through the groggy, still-sleeping facade. Sam smiles.

"Morning, Cas" Sam says, almost pausing after his first word. It was all so perfect. The time, place-just everything. Its unbelievable.

But Sam is guilty. He smiles through the dirtly guilt in the back of his mind.

Because this wasn't his Cas.

And he wasn't his Sam...

could sastiel ever exist in a world where it’s like 100% canon. do you think. i want it to

i dream about that everyday honestly. like if this universe has d*stiel be the popular one, then there's a multiverse where's a myriad of other ships that r popular. that unfortunately includes the problematic ones too.... imma eliminate those.

but sastiel in particular, yes. 100% one hundred times over yes. the ship has every ingredient that is needed for a ship that can be canon/ cas being an angel while sam is lucifer's vessel but cas learns sam isnt evil during the s1-5. more angsty but could end on a happy note. then there was more soft/fluff~esque moments (that couldve been developed more imo) like cas helping sam with gadreel or with post lucifer trauma (i dont if that happened or not. i dont remember it clearly, but like that would be really nice for sam n cas to have a heart-to-heart).

all i gotta say is that, i blame them fucking writers like gamble and dabb. now i dont totally hate them, but there was a bias on who was more favored coughdean/destielcough. so yeah i do think sastiel could exist being canon<3

but in all seriousness, sastiel is literally jack's parents. Sam and Cas are so dearly his parents and a lot of his traits literally come from both. in a parenting sense, it might just be a learning process for the two of them though. unlike dean's natural father instincts, it probably doesnt come naturally for sam. but with caring for jack, he could gain experience from that. and he has! i just can't name any from canon at the moment. cas is like an overbearing father, but not in a bad or annoying way. we've seen how well he handles kids, with the putting a baby to sleep scene in mind (his singing<3). but i like to combine that canon + a little bit of fanon stuff inspired by "Raising Hope." like not stupid enough to leave a baby alone, but not smart enough for anything complex. WITH the combined efforts of the two, learning how to parent could come naturally and nicely.

Sastiel Take:

-cas shouldve had a bigger storyline about saving sam from the cage/lucifer. i feel like if they had cas endure more about learning and understanding sam, they wouldve had a stronger bond. they never really explore cas' curiosity for the human world and never had someone guide his way through. properly. like sam. i think this kind of plot could build on more on cas being more independent from the winchesters, allowing him to have content on him and how he feels. without the winchesters, angel hood, or anything. on the other hand, this could properly conclude the sam & lucifer storyline and allow sam to trust cas more.

-being honest, sam being lucifer's vessel was a interesting choice but they fumbled bad. i viscerally hated seeing lucifer(and m*rkp in general) in the show. sure he's THE devil but like the jokes did not hit well. sam and cas had a crooked relationship due to many factors like uprising destiel, different plots intertwining, and just not enough screentime together. making cas be the one saving sam changes the whole "sam and dean" dynamic. i say this since we see sam and dean together many times (i also dont like dean that much(dont k*ll me)).

Both. Absolutely both.

have sam or cas say something wrong. have them have a dumb misunderstanding. have them have a fight that on the surface doesn't seem much, but deep down they are struggling. struggling to find the right words. to communicate. they split for a bit. its hard, and stupid and probably immature. but they are hurting. yearning for each other's company.

BUT AT THE SAME TIME: have them stargaze, bake something and half fail it. maybe explore each other's interest with great passion and curiosity. MAKE THEM HAVE A SLUMBER PARTY/NETFLIX NIGHT.

there's a lot you could do for either one and i will always choose both.

i usually see cas doing something wrong to sam, but i also like the few fics where sam does something wrong to cas. few=one and it was in a w*ncest fic:(

i unfortunately have no recommendations since its been a while since ive been on ao3. its like getting hard 4 me to get on and read at least one fic, ive just been too busy + anytime i block out any w*ncest tag on ao3, the fics are just kinda bad 😭 there are some good ones, i know for sure. i just cant name em, im sorry:(

Sastiel Take:

-(more like sam take but i’ll include cas too) Sam is more Pink Pony Club coded 😭 not dean. actually-scratch that, the rise n fall of a midwest princess is literally Sam. After Midnight being a late night drunk bisexual realization? yes. Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl being him on multiple dates and realizing he wants to have fun? Yes. Casual being unrequited sastiel? YES. Picture You being Sam pining for Cas, wanting his divine gaze-the same one Cas gives to Dean-on him, even for a split second. YES! I could name a lot more perspectives about each song, not only being sad unrequitedness. Red Wine Supernove being a full on confession to Cas is my favorite daydream. But in all, I feel like both Sam and Cas relate to Pink Pony Club. The feeling of not fitting in your family’s image of you and not fitting into certain norms of the society is a quality they both share. To feel indifferent in a place where everybody is the same. But you want to feel like star! To show everybody what you’re made of and not just being evil reincarnated or an angel that needs to follow orders.

-The whole album is sastiel coded with too many coincidental ties that is somewhat canon and not at all. Like how both are essentially the black sheep of the “family.” Were created to fit in a mold made by their “fathers.”

-This is just to say, I agree with yall under my “Sam listening to Chappel Roan” post 😭. Dean has so many songs that describe him, but I don’t see much for Sam (or Cas). That might be me. Though Roan’s fun but somber album is a great mixture of wanting freedom and releasing inner emotions! Perfect way to also decribe Sam!
