Beyoncé’s On the Run II Tour Outfits Revealed

After Beyoncé’s show-stopping costumes at Coachella this year, we were excited to see what the singer would wear on her own tour. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On the Run II tour kicked off Wednesday night in Cardiff, Wales and the looks did not disappoint. The music icon literally sparkled on stage, dressed head-to-toe in numerous glittering pieces. Above, she wears a shimmering La Quan blazer and bodysuit, the sheer fabric pulled up to partially cover her face. Face coverings were another common theme, with Bey sporting a diamond encrusted ski mask, and later, one in a black netted style. Metallic thigh highs and silver trench coats also added to the futuristic glitz. With masterminds like Claire Waight Keller, Dapper Dan and Olivier Rousteing behind the costume magic, the tour proves to be not only be a musical spectacle, but a fashion one too.

It's been a fun ride showing the past two seasons in Paris during Couture (thank you Chambre Syndicale) but NY will always be home so we are coming back for Spring Summer 2019. In today’s world, when, where, and how one shows can be looser and more fluid than ever and so for now, NY is our home once again. Paris was an amazing opportunity to show what we do to a completely different audience that had never been able to attend a Proenza Schouler show and on that level, as well as on a creative level, it felt really right. We want to thank everyone that was responsible for making Paris an unforgettable experience. Looking forward to heading back home now and being a part of NYFW in September, where it all began. x Jack and Lazaro

Proenza Schouler Announces Their Homecoming

Despite the city’s romantic allure and the world-famous stage that is Paris Couture Week, nothing can really ever compare to home for Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. The dynamic duo made the decision to return to their roots: New York, New York. Last year, the designers were ready for a shake up, moving their show overseas to Paris — a decision which Mccullough told WWD was, “bittersweet.” With the loss of prominent American designers to international destinations, NYFW has definitely taken a little bit of a hit in the past few years. But the return of Proenza Schouler is sure to get the New York fashion scene buzzing. We’ll be able to see them back on the runway this September. They’ll always have Paris, but we’re excited to see them return to the place “where it all began.”

Cynthia Nixon Releases Miranda-themed Campaign Merch

Nixon, who is running for governor of New York, dropped the limited-edition products on Wednesday. It was perfect timing, as fans everywhere raised their cosmopolitans to celebrate SATC’s 20th anniversary. In terms of product design, Nixon actually enlisted the help of the team behind Instagram account, @everyoutfitonsatc, which has over 400 posts documenting the show’s influential style.

The North Face is Selling Upcycled Products

The North Face Renewed is all about eliminating waste. With a whopping 85% of textiles ended up in landfills each year, the company wants to take responsibility and help change that statistic. To do this they have begun collecting returned, damaged or defective pieces and are repairing them to their “original badassery” at a discounted price. The pilot program is still in its initial stages, and is currently only slated to last until September. But if all goes well, they could really be the voice that inspires others to get on board with eliminating textile waste.

Kristin Davis Shares Emotional Photo With Sarah Jessica Parker for 20th Anniversary of 'Sex and the City'

Kristin Davis is reliving her Sex and the City days in honor of the show's 20th anniversary!

"I guess today is the actual 20th Anniversary of the first airing of Sex and the City," Davis, who played Charlotte York on the long-running series, captioned the snap of her comforting a crying Sarah Jessica Parker on the last day of shooting. "I‘ll post more pics, but I like this one of the last day we filmed the series because it shows the writers and crew. An incredible bunch of humans who are not acknowledged enough!" 

The 53-year-old actress continued: "And it shows how much the show mattered to us. @sarahjessicaparker and I cried like babies on the street. What we were all able to do together and the support from the fans around the world was beyond our wildest dreams. We are connected forever and I am so grateful."

Davis wasn't the only cast member reminiscing today. Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda Hobbes on the show and is now running for governor of New York, released some new campaign merch in honor of the series' anniversary.

"20 years ago would I have imagined @cynthiaenixon running for Governor? Back in June 1998 at the show's premiere, ET caught up with the four stars — Davis, Nixon, Parker and Kim Cattrall — to hear all about the soon-to-be worldwide phenomenon. 

"It's very candid, it's forthright, it's a little ribald, a little saucy," Carrie Bradshaw herself, Parker, said at the time. "But I think, in many instances, it's conversations that women have, and I think it's very courageous and fresh."

"I think it'll find its audience, I really do," added Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones. "People who have heard about the scripts and heard about the premise really are embracing it, and I think it'll find an audience. It's not for everybody, but I think that's what makes it special and controversial. It's on HBO!"

Nixon called the show "so frank" while Davis praised it for being a "smart comedy."

"A comedy that doesn't offend anyone, that doesn't play to the lowest common denominator, that has some basis in reality, but is also funny," Davis explained. "We don't want people to be depressed. It's depressing enough, the dating life. Don't want people to go, 'Oh, god! That's depressing.'"
