From Agriculture to Forestry! Wew... screening some endemic plants here in jeju for some compounds. Today, I only collected 7 tree samples. It's really hard to identify and find them. I think i have to go back to the mountains and wild again. Plus... Since everything is in korean. The references and the description from it are very nervewracking to translate. Last week, I was trying to figure out a new method on how can I increase the transient gene expression in my dear plants using 2cc syringe. I was very worried because the needle is to big for the petioles, midribs, and veins of the leaves. So aside from those parts, I also tried to infiltrate it in the stem. Despite the stress, I was very glad that my plants recuperated, and grew healthier again. Today I spent my whole Sunday harvesting, and analyzing some data. Even it's already 12am, I'm capping off my lab works with a big smile. I can finally go home! Who wants to drink with me?
