I took the pastel ocean waves class at Brentwood Art Center a few months ago. Class was great, but my pastel art skills turned out to be so-so. (ie: bad) Next I took an abstract painting class and fared slightly better. (Like a skosh.)Tomo I am attempting Pastel Cityscapes. This is all part of my new nerdy theory that learning other artistic mediums could possibly improve my writing. And if it doesn’t work, then at least I’ll get to have a few amusing convos with the husband as he delicately explains why a policy of keeping my “art” on the fridge for a month and then tossing it is a good idea.
