the proposal scene WRECKS me. Cerulean Dads i love you. also it’s so great how Arthur flaunts his ring every chance he gets. no one will forget that he is in love and married to Linus Baker! i wish Linus got his own ring though :(

the idea of them being childhood friends just makes SENSE. thinking back to when they were kids, i can see them being close and then after lance's father disappears, slowly grow apart. lance goes to military school and ilana has her princess duties to attend to. without the connection of their fathers and the changes in lance's outlook on life it would be natural for them to drift apart... only to be brought back together after galaluna has fallen.

anyways i added some fun details here and there :) see if you notice them haha

Okay so uhm I was on tktok.... Amd I saw a Nexus + Dark Sun edit... With the song Welcome to the show from MLP and.... I thought abt my vampires again..... So I added my BM fusion right? Amd.... Yeah just vampires doing vampire things (musicals)

And while drawing I realized Dark Sun wouldn't be this dramatic and passional and that's Ruin's thing but anyways 🥺 I can't undraw it now 😔

Arthur, reliving his twenties in an old denim jacket he used to wear, and a very starstruck Linus, who is trying a few styles outside his regular comfort zone. the cerulean husbands on a night out! Arthur might not have any ass to speak of, but this does not deter Linus from the rest of the view.

and of course, i couldn’t resist giving them matching color schemes.

i CANNOT wait to write this chapter!!!!! Oriole takes them and a few friends to a night club for magical people called Oberon’s Gate, and many shenanigans ensue. Oriole also helps put together the outfits for the night. Linus has no experience with these sorts of things, but he’s been feeling brave and decides to enlist Oriole’s expertise in makeup (I’m such a genderqueer Linus truther). Arthur gives in as well, and indulges in a light smokey eye. they spend the evening being absolutely besotted with each other

i just really wanted to give these guys a chance to truly feel themselves. they both canonically have different types/levels of confidence issues, and there’s not a whole lotta time for experimenting with self expression when there’s seven kids running around. so this chapter is 1) a chance for them to fag it up and 2) some time to play!!! and breathe!! and get drunk with old friends!!
