I might cut out the part where Wes pretends to be on Ace's good side since that role is somewhat fulfilled by Rosalyn pretending to be Ace's girlfriend now. So there would be no need for Wes and Rosalyn to pretend to fight

ufhhh okay i know r doesn’t say anything about art to her brother. but maybe one particularly hard night, after art is thankfully gone, you sneak into patrick’s room in the middle of the night, the tears in your eyes making it super hard to see in the dark.

he’s just casually watching reruns of a shitty 90s show and smoking a cig. when he notices you and that heartbroken look on your face, he opens up his arms to you, inviting you in for a cuddle. you immediately sob against him, all the pain and frustration finally bursting :( he holds you and coaches you through deep breaths ‘til you start to calm down.

“who did this to you?” he asks while offering you the cigarette. his voice is gentle, but the intent behind is statement is far from it.

you don’t answer, just take a drag then lay your head on his lap, nose brushing against the ashtray on his thigh.

“tell me. i’ll fucking kill him.”

and he really would. you know he would. the instant you’d say his name, patrick would be on a flight to california, ready to beat art to a pulp. as much as he deserves it, you can’t. you sigh and close your eyes.

He’s just trying to be a good brother. He’s seen you go through so many different phases of your life :( when you became obsessed with N*SYNC as a kid, when you wanted to start a friendship bracelet business, the short lived tennis era when you were twelve and just wanted to copy everything he did, cheerleading, when you tried your hand at musical theater, a tiny goth phase when you were 14.

But he’s always seen you happy and light. Even when you broke up with high school boyfriends. Even when you lost best friends and had horrible fights within your friend group. You could brush things off after a few days of moping, took things in stride.

But you’re so fucking low, it makes his stomach hurt. He wants to talk to your parents, convince them to bring you home from Stanford because obviously things are bad. Your tears are soaking through the shoulder of his tee shirt, and you’re panting these deep heaving sobs and there is nothing he can fucking do.

Because you won’t tell him, and he doesn’t know why. But he’s starting to think it’s all about Art. The weekend had been weird, both of you had been so weird.

“I think I want to transfer,” you say, after your tears have run dry and you’re just watching Fresh Prince reruns. “Film scbool at USC maybe. Could be fun.”

Patrick laughs, shakes his head. “They’re not going to let you go to film school.” Your hobbies had always been just that. Hobbies. Patrick got boarding school for tennis, got money poured into his life because he had raw potential.

You were on the outskirts, you had to fight and claw for some sort of light to shine on you. “Yeah,” you sigh. “Probably not.”

“I can can come stay with you at Stanford for a week,” he offers. “I have time, you know. And it beats staying here.”

But you can’t let him do that. You have to keep him away from the mess you’ve made. So you just shake your head and keep watching TV.

at my primary school they couldnt test me for learning disabilities bc my parents wouldnt consent but they knew i was obviously neurodivergent so i was in all the special classes for people with learning disabilities but every time someone would ask me what ld i had id be like none im just stupid i guess

good morning!!!!! as soon as school is over i will be on here much more often!!

I want cute shoulder length hair so I can dye it wild colors and stuff. But I also know I will miss long hair. But I think I want to try it before I get too old and crusty.

(but also I just cant do the whole small talk with the hair stylist person because of my anxiety. But I want the haircut done professionally. Can I just not talk to the stylist and give a huge tip or something? Any stylists out there?)
