Legal Affairs - Chapter 4

Synopsis: you sleep with someone(s). Also, you crack the case.

Word count: 3.8k

Triggers: slightly public sex, fingering, oral (m and f receiving), drinking alcohol

You hadn’t set an alarm the night before, but you stirred awake around 6am, your body having remembered the early start you had the day before. Hoseok still had an arm draped over you, which you tried to push off. At first, he nuzzled into your neck and his breath caused goosebumps to rise on your skin. When you did finally escape his grasp, you felt cold and lonely, and hugged yourself soothingly.

The idea of placing a small kiss on his cheek or temple crossed your mind but you decided against it. You still had several hours before work, so you cleaned the bowls from last night which were still on the dinner table. You briefly thought about leaving some ramen made for Hoseok’s breakfast, but had to mentally rebuke yourself for it. You weren’t his girlfriend. You weren’t even his hookup. You were just a lawyer who slept (and only slept) with their absolutely gorgeous idol client. Plus, you didn’t even know what diet Hoseok had, and you didn’t want to waste ramen on a breakfast he wouldn’t be able to eat. Sure, keep telling yourself that.

You hoisted your box of things and left the apartment, gently closing the door behind you.

“Do you want some help, Miss y/n?” A voice asked.

Oh no. You grimaced. Nothing good could come out of you leaving an idol’s dorm in yesterday’s clothes. You turned around slowly to find Changkyun with a gym towel around his neck.

You didn’t meet his gaze as you spoke. “Um, no, I’ll be okay. I just worked really late, that’s all.”

Changkyun’s face showed no teasing or mocking expression. Instead, he reached over and took your box from you. “Let me walk you to your car, that looks heavy.”

“Are you excited for the party this weekend?” Changkyun asked to fill the silence with while he followed you behind you to the staircase.

“I don’t know. I think I am nervous actually. I still haven’t even bought something to wear.” You had completely forgotten about that after dinner with Hoseok.

“I’m sure somebody here has a spare onesie for you.” Changkyun’s pace slowed as he started descending the stairs with you.

“Thanks, but I doubt I’d fit into anything you owned. Kind of the same reason I didn’t borrow Hoseok’s clothes.” Oh fuck, not you revealing things again.

“Even if you wore nothing, Hoseok wouldn’t mind,” Changkyun said quietly, more to himself than you.

“What???” You suddenly stopped on the stairs and faced him. This caused Changkyun to miss a step and hit you with the box. It hurt, but not enough to knock you off balance.

“Maybe I should take that box,” you said once Changkyun straightened up.

He gave it to you embarrassedly. “Sorry, Miss y/n. Please don’t tell hyung about that.”

“Don’t worry about it. There’s no bruise yet.” You placed the box in your car when you exited the building. “Anyways thank you for helping me. Now go inside, eat, take a shower. I’ll see you tonight.”

You drove back home to shower and put on some fresh clothes, before heading to Useungja. At work, you added the findings on Rohypnol to Hoseok’s case file, together with the footage showing he didn’t talk to anyone already known to be suspicious, and forwarded it to the prosecutor’s office.

You were gone when he woke up. No text, no call, not even a note. Hoseok didn’t know what he was expecting. You had work in the morning, while he had no schedule that day. Not to mention, how could he be stupid enough to treat his lawyer, the one person singlehandedly saving him from this mess, like that? You cut deals to keep the press away and you were even hunting down whoever drugged him. He meant it when he said you weren’t like lawyers in movies, because you were better and so much cooler than them, only he wasn’t sure how to tell you that.

“Minhyuk, I need the address for the party,” you said into your phone. You had picked a dress with a deep burgundy bustier and tulle that flared out to become more and more sheer. You also stopped by a craft store to pick up a carnival mask, hoping to conceal your face a little bit.

“Do you want to share my Uber? Did I mention I love Uber?” Minhyuk replied.

“What? No, I just need the address, I’ll drive.” You weren’t planning on drinking much, or staying late.

“Then, can you pick me up? You probably can’t get in without me anyways.” That pricked your ears. You had just assumed you could walk through the door, but hadn’t stopped to think it might be a controlled guest list.

And that was how you ended up with Minhyuk and Hyungwon in your car.

“You didn’t tell me he was coming,” you said, jabbing a thumb towards the back seat.

“I forgot he was home. He had fallen asleep,” Minhyuk said while fixing his hair.

“I thought Monsta X went to any and all events together?”

“We do. We are all very close to each other, but this isn’t part of our schedule, and most us, Minhyuk, are trying to get some rest before comeback week,” Hyungwon said sternly, wth his ire obviously being directed at Minhyuk.

To his credit, Minhyuk didn’t care, even if Hyungwon was sending him a million curses through his eyes.

After Minhyuk and Hyungwon ushered you into the party, which did in fact have a semi-closed guest list (guests can bring an undisclosed plus one), you assured them you would be fine, and to just enjoy their night. Your heart pounded, seeing so many celebrities in such close quarters to each other. If only I could offer my services to them, then I’d have some of the most coveted clientele in all of Seoul.

But right now, Hoseok was your only client, and therefore your only concern. The bar seemed like an appropriate place to start your hunt for the drink spiker so you ordered the first cocktail on the menu and sipped it for 45 minutes. When your position at the bar began to be unfruitful, you decided to walk around a bit.

You saw Kihyun engaged in some close conversation with a couple people in a corner across the room. Approaching them could possibly help you integrate yourself into the conversations happening within the room.

The party venue was actually within the TV station - a conference room was remodelled to look like an exclusive nightclub. As you walked through the sea of people, you began to realise you were truly out of your depth here. You turned up at a party hoping to find illegal activity, when you didn’t even know how to seek them out in real life.

As you walked, a man grabbed your arm. “Hey, come talk with us.” He gestured to two other men lounging on couch nearby.

“Oh no, I can’t I have to meet someone.” You said, pulling your arm away.

“Well don’t you want to meet us? C’mon, we’ll cover you next drink.” When you refused once more, he dropped your arm and walked away, so you kept moving.

When you finally reached Kihyun, the group he was talking to had left. Kihyun recognised you before you had a chance to lower your mask and show your face.

“No, don’t.” Kihyun held a hand in front of your face when you started reaching up to remove it. “How are you feeling?”

You felt like a load had been lifted off your shoulders. “Terrible. I don’t think this was helpful at all.”

Kihyun was quiet for a minute. “Why don’t you go find Hoseok and stay around him?”

That hadn’t occurred to you, but you didn’t even know how to find him, so you stared blankly at Kihyun.

“Just look for groups of trainees, male or female. You’ll find him, he’s kind of popular,” Kihyun advised.

“Kihyun, I can’t tell who is and is not a trainee. I also jostled so many people coming from the other side of the room that I don’t think I can go back.” You sighed at your poor planning. “Maybe I should just leave. If I do that, will you take Minhyuk and Hyungwon home?”

Kihyun looked at you surprised. “Those idiots asked you to drive them?”

You nodded. “Yeah.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of that. And if I see anything here, I’ll let you know. Get home safe, yeah?” Kihyun gave your arm a friendly squeeze, probably because he’d drunk a little more than usual, and left you standing in the corner.

You finished your drink and watched the room. Technically you were just a normal guest now that you had given up on investigating.

“Taking a break from the party?” A man sided up to you and asked. He was wearing a onesie just like the Monsta X members, but since he didn’t know you, it was safe to assume he wasn’t from the group. Aside from his onesie, he had some sort of hat with a a neck warmer that he pulled up towards his mouth. His body was definitely that of a gym rat, much like your client.

You studied the man’s face, or rather his eyes and nose. There was something familiar about him. “Something like that,” you finally said in response to his earlier question.

“I’ve been wondering who you were. I’ve been especially wondering when you’ll let that mask slip.” You could feel him getting closer as the warmth from his skin hit your own.

“I guarantee you this mask is the one thing you will never be able to take off,” you replied.

The man studied your face. “So then what can I take off?”

“I don’t know, would you like to find out?” You returned.

“I’ve been curious about you this whole night,” the man said.

“So you want to get to know me better… how about we go somewhere we can be alone?” You raised your eyebrows at him under your mask.

The man got your hint. “I know a place.”

He led you through the crowd in the room, moving smoothly. Now, getting laid wasn’t exactly on your mind when you came here, but law school didn’t exactly leave time for dating, so why not? A small part of you suddenly thought about Hoseok - could something more happen between you and the man who held you while you slept last night?

You shook Hoseok out of your mind and focused on your new man. He had led you to an empty but dark hallway, and turned to face you, pulling down the neck warmer. You knew he was giving you the option to back out, but you pulled him towards you until your back was against the wall and his lips were touching yours. Your lips moved together as you matched his pace, and your hands slowly moved up his arms to his shoulders. His lips were soft and you could taste some alcohol on his tongue. His perfume emanated a woody scent with hints of vanilla that you loved.

The man’s hand began tightening on your waist and dropped to your hips to pull your heat in closer. The ensuing contact caused you to moan into his mouth, and allowed him to insert his tongue inside. He ran it along the inside of your lips, searching for your own, but the minute he found it, he pulled back, surprising you. You were just getting familiar with his tongue.

But then his lips moved to your jaw, then to your neck and collarbone. Your fingers tangled into his hair, holding his head in place as he started sucking gently on your collarbone. Your deepening breaths made your chest rise higher, brushing his jaw. His hands moved from your waist to your back, searching for the zipper on your dress.

“Wait.” You steadied yourself against his forearms. “This doesn’t feel private enough.” You looked around the empty hallway, mostly dark except for the light drifting out of the door to the reimagined conference room.

“Relax, darling. There’s nobody around.” He smiled down at you and resumed kissing your neck and shoulders. Briefly, his soothing voice reminded you of Hoseok last night and the way he got you to relax.

But then, your new man dropped a hand from your waist to squeeze your ass, bringing you back to the present. Why am I thinking of my client right now anyways? The man began reaching lower to find the hem of your dress, and you willed your fingers to begin searching for any buttons or zipper on his onesie.

He huffed impatiently when he couldn’t figure out how to unclasp the bustier, so you moved your hands behind you and loosened it yourself. One of the man’s hands reached inside the bustier, his thumb caressing your nipple while he returned to kiss your mouth. It made you dizzy, and you pulled back to start kissing his neck, and the little nips you made along the sensitive skin made him groan.

The man harshly pulled your bustier down, enough to extricate one of your breasts and place it in his mouth. His tongue swirled around it while his hand squeezed. Your fingers immediately went to his hair, soft and blonde.

The cameras! You tensed, and your hands stilled in the man’s hair. “The cameras in the hallway are live.” You didn’t exactly have the same concerns as idols when it came to sex, but you’d still prefer to not be watched at a later date. “The green rooms don’t have CCTV,” you said in between gasps when the man flicked your nipple.

The man raised his head. “You’re the second person I’ve met who seems to know that.”

“And who’s the first?” You asked as you pulled your bustier up a little.

“Just a friend. Cmon, let’s go to the green rooms.” The man took your hand and quickly took you to an elevator. You had to almost jog to match his pace while holding up your bustier with one hand.

The elevator opened in a matter of seconds. There was some light inside, so you finally focused on the buttons of the onesie. The man’s cheeks were flushed pink now, and despite the lust hanging between you two, his expression was gentle and loving. His face also looked strangely familiar, probably because he was an idol you had seen somewhere once.

You finally pushed the onesie off his torso, and left it hanging at his hips. He had a tight t-shirt underneath which he swiftly pulled off. His body was marvellous for lack of a better word. You didn’t even bother to hide your delight at seeing his body, running your fingers all over every ridge, bump and muscle while you kissed him.

There was a railing on the side of the elevator, which the man hoisted you onto, though you wondered how much of your weight that was really supporting. With how built he was, maybe you weighed nothing to him. You hooked a leg around his waist, and when the elevator dinged open, he placed his hands under your ass to lift you up. You tightly wrapped your legs around his waist, relishing in how much closer it brought your needy core to him.

He placed you down to open a green room, before shutting the door and pushing you up against it. One of his hands returned to your breast while the other searched for the hem and pushed your dress up. His fingers finally reached your underwear and slipped inside. He didn’t tease. One finger immediately pushed on your clit, causing you to cry out and sink your fingers into his arms.

“That’s it, make all the noise you want, nobody will hear us,” he almost cooed into your ear as your breathing intensified. As his thumb started circling your clit, his other fingers probed your folds. Up and down; up and down.

You were getting desperate for him to finally insert a finger. “Please...” you found yourself saying, as quiet as a whisper. The man obliged, though not immediately, letting you whimper for a few seconds before he inserted one, then two, fingers. His strokes were slow, to the point where you felt your breathing slow down, but then he curled his fingers, searching for that spot on your walls. He didn’t seem to be finding it, so his pace increased, until the force from his hands alone was making it hard to remain steady against the door.

You tried recollecting your thoughts. All this time you had gotten lost in his touch, but you hadn’t done enough for your partner. Your partner seemed to be enjoying the rough way he fingered you, but you weren’t quite getting there yet. You reached down to still his hand, then pulled his fingers out of you to taste yourself. The man grew more aroused watching the way your tongue danced longer than necessary along his fingers.

You met his smouldering gaze, smiling coyly, before dropping to your knees. You could feel his stomach tense as his breath hitched when your fingertips dipped into the waistband of his boxers to pull them down. You wrapped one hand around his thigh, and let each finger tap down on to the skin individually to prolong his anticipation. You then placed your other hand at the base of his dick, aligning it with your mouth to lick off the precum that was already spouting from it. You gripped his thigh tighter for more balance and loosened your lips a little so that he could enter and exit more smoothly. His pace started growing frantic and sloppy. He was close.

Instead, the door beside you cracked open, and a flashlight shone on to your face and chest. You smashed a hand over your chest to cover yourself and scrunched your eyes, trying to see what was behind the light source.

“You shouldn’t be here. It’s after hours,” a female voice said. She moved the light from your face towards your partner who was kneeling between your legs. You gazed up at the intruder. She was wearing a TV station issued uniform but wasn’t a security guard. She looked familiar somehow too. You sat up to quickly pull your bustier back together. You glanced at your partner to see him buttoning up his own costume. The flashlight wielding woman waited until you were both dressed before walking away.

It didn’t take much to understand that you getting caught infiltrating the party and hooking up with an idol couldn’t be covered under the guise of helping a client. Though impolite, you left the green room without looking at your mystery man, who was still putting his onesie together. It’s not like he would bump into you again anyways.

You ran out of the green room to search for the woman with the flashlight. You knew you’d seen her before, and it was odd that someone like her was here after hours. You saw her flashlight disappearing towards a door marked as the stairwell. You waited until she had probably started moving on the stairwell, then cracked the door open. The flashlight was moving downward, so you began following it.

Until you heard two voices.

“Do you have something? A name? A photo?”

“I thought I caught one but she had a mask.”

“Ugh, they’re getting good these days. What about the money? Did you hand it over?”

“I told you I did it last week. I don’t know why it’s not out yet.”

“It can’t be this hard finding stories, surely. I really thought the drugs would work. Do you know what I had to do to get them?”

“I did what you said, but the man is completely fine.”

“Were all of them here tonight? Did they say or do anything?”

Drugs? Money? Last week? Could that be about the black market dealings? And potentially Hoseok?

Posting Plans for the week of December 20th through December 24th

Despite being really really bad at keeping these, giving myself a week in advance to write these all (a majority of them are close to being done so I'm not too worried) should give me time to keep a decent schedule.

The stories with word counts are finished and are waiting in a queue to be published on the specific date and time. Once I'm fully done with a story, they will have their word count up (I'll re-blog this post when its updated btw), and depending on the smut, the warnings in advance.

I also really tried to write for some that don’t really have too much attention on my page. Each member deserves some attention, whether it’s small or not.

Christmas eve is going to be pretty packed when it comes to the stories, as well as each smut that is labeled to written for. I do apologize for all the drabbles seen. It really helps when I want to post something, but I don't want to make the stories over 1k.

Just a friendly forewarning, Minhyuk's Christmas one shot will see itself reaching over 4k words. I’m really not sorry about that.

As a friendly reminder, requests are open. For those who’ve requested something I’ve seen them and they’ll be written in the upcoming days.

Below the cut is next week's posting schedule. This week will be spent as my writing period.

A Solo Debut?

Red Velvet 6th Member AU

Psycho Era (February, 2020)

Jiwoo is told that she will have a solo, but for her, it brings more sadness than happiness

“Thank you for coming in today. We know you have enjoyed your time with your family this week, but now it’s right back to work!” Yeseo, their manager, said excitidly! Red Velvet had just had there comeback a few months ago, to much success! Sadly, with Wendy’s accident they had to cut promotions short.

However, Jiwoo already had her solo planned out since August of 2019, so SM decided to not wait to debut her. She was debuting with her original debut song, Move, along with 4 other tracks on the extended play.

“Ok, so you were pretty adamant about not having Move as the first track, so did you have a specific order you wanted it in?” Yeseo asked her.

“Yea, I already made it in a playlist, so you can just listen and tell me what you think.”

Jiwoo and Yeseo listened to the order she had laid out. All original songs that Jiwoo had written (With some help!) and SM had already planned her singles as well. Move would be released on April 22, 2020 and Why Not? would be released May 7, 2020. For Jiwoo, it was perfect! Except for one thing...

“I know you’re missing Minhyuk, but everyone agrees that it would be best to keep your solo on schedule. We wouldn’t want to upstage Irene & Seulgi’s debut, would we?”

Jiwoo looked up at Yeseo, offended by her assumption. “I wouldn’t upstage them, I would wait until their promotional period was over and then debut. And it’s not only that I’m missing him! It’s much, much more than that.”

Jiwoo started packing up her stuff to leave, frustrated by the change in Yeseo. She used to be someone she could talk to about anything, but more recently, she only cares about “Keeping the name of Red Velvet fresh in the public’s mind.” She felt like Yeseo’s only goal was money, and it made her feel like a product!

“Jiwoo, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to offend....”

“The way the set list is right now, is the way I want it to debut. It will be released at the same time as the music video for Move. That’s all I'm discussing with you today.” And with that, she stormed out.

She knew her mood change wasn’t great, but she felt horrible debuting so soon. Wendy was just barely better, and it felt like SM wasn’t giving her time to be sad about it.

She walked outside the SM building, not realizing it was already dark. She started walking towards a small cafe, a meeting place she often had with Minhyuk. She walked inside, glad it wasn’t that busy.

“I’ll just have a black coffee, thank you,” she smiled at the cashier as she took her order. It felt melancholy, but she knew nothing could be changed about it. She felt for the necklace Minhyuk had given her before her left, grateful that it had been a sense of comfort for her. She smiled fondly at the memories, until someone pushed there way past her, almost knocking her to the floor!

“You can say excuse me,” Jiwoo mumbled, moving over to the side to not cause trouble. She pulled out her phone to text Irene, asking her to come pick her up. Irene didn’t like when Jiwoo walked home alone at night, so she made sure to text her.

Jiwoo: Hey babe, It’s kinda late and I’m done with my meeting. can you come pick me up? I’m at the cafe

Irene: Yea, Be there in a few minutes.

Irene: Are you ok?

Jiwoo: why would you think i’m not?

Irene: You aren’t using proper grammer and you normally get mad at us when we don’t. Do you want to talk about it?

Jiwoo: Later

“Coffee for Jiwoo,” The barista yelled.

Jiwoo sighed, walking over to get her coffee. It was already going to be a long night.

CONFUSION

Hi Every one

I hope you are all doing great , Me? Well first day was hard for me, morning stretches somehow killed me, why am I so inflexible? Am I wooden or made of stone, I though about it a lot during stretches, also other workouts were tough for me, specially lower ab workouts, I felt like crying a lot during the 10 minutes of workout session, But no I won't give up.

Studying, well it didn't go the way I planned since I'm not really good with long term schedules and well 4 weeks and some days ( close to 5 weeks ) is considered long term goal I guess? anyways after talking to some one , I decided to focus mainly on my test books since I have the base knowledge for every subject , I need to perfect them.

Sad/Sweet fact : I'm a Monbebe and Wenee and soon monstax will come back with new Korean mini album, an English full album, their movie will be aired, then we have Huyngwon's drama, Jooheon's web show is aired and honestly I waited to gather all the episodes and watch them later, Shownu's drama will air soon too, Minhyuk will be a guest actor in a drama too ,I still have lots of episodes left from Minhyuk's Vogue ship show, then I still haven't watched midnight idol and Idol radio , back to idol season 2. We will be having lots of shows for their comebacks, Wonho has his own concerts and his ohhohoho as well as other shows he was guest which are still unwatched, these are all perfect but for me I can't support the boys the way they deserve since I'm always busy and I feel really sad when I can't shut up the haters , so I might not be able to stream or support them but I really love all members with all my heart, so if you have time support the boys, a fellow monbebe once said Stan Monstax and Wonho for better skin😉😂

Shownu would be a little confused when he saw you flapping your hands while having your earbuds in playing music at loud volume.

As he looked at you with a slight confused look he tapped your shoulder softly and asked "what are you doing baby?" And when you explained that you are autistic and that this helps with the sensory environment everything made sense to him.

Minhyuk

When he saw all the non verbal ways to communicate (like boards, picture binders and more) he was kind of confused so he asked about it.

When he asked you about the ways to communicate non verbally you just giggled and said "oh, I'm autistic, even though I can talk , sometimes I go non verbal and this is how I can tell the people talking to me how I am feeling and more!" He just smiled at you and just hugged you tightly.

Kihyun

When he saw you eating one of your safe foods is when he would ask cause you have been eating this food for 4 days in a row.

He looked at you with confusion and said "didn't you have that for last 3 days baby?" When you giggled and explained that your autistic and that food is one of your safe foods he smiled and would try to give you more food to try.

Hyungwon

Hyungwon honestly might have had feelings about you being different from the start, in a good way of course, and would randomly ask if you were different from others.

When he asked the question you were honestly shocked and said "yeah, I'm autistic.. why do you ask?" And he smiled softly at you and simply a lot of things made more sense.

Jooheon

Jooheon would notice that you haven't be taking proper care of yourself (not because of you hating yourself, because you genuinely forgot to) and he would ask about it.

He looked at you with a pout and said "baby~ why haven't you been taking proper care of yourself you haven't showered in 3 days! I'm really worried about you.." and saw your genuinely shocked face he was also surprised, when you explained that you need a proper schedule he smiled at you and immediately started making one for you to follow properly.

I.M changkyun

I.m. would immediately start doing research on how your mind would work and how to help you, he would ask after you calmed down from a meltdown.

He would be kind of scared to ask what was going on with you and so he said "you ok baby? Is there any way I can help?" You nodded with your weighed blanket on you and explained that you are autistic and that the environment that you were in was to much to handle he would immediately start researching on autism.

Hoseok/wonho

Wonho would be extra soft with you! He would do anything to make sure you are comfortable, even If that means eating the same thing 5 times a week.

He looked at you in shock and said "that food again? We had that 4 times already.." with a slight pout on his face, you explained that you are autistic and that you needed to eat this food a lot, he smiled and simply ate it again with you cause he loves you.

[INTERVIEW] 20 Questions With Monsta X

Monsta X will perform during an epic virtual concert, Live From Seoul with Luv, on Saturday (Aug. 8).

Presented by LiveXLive, the one-of-a-kind livestream will serve as the idols' only live music event for the year, and will feature them performing a combination of tracks from their 2020 English-language LP All About Luv and hits in their native Korean, including "Fantasia," "Follow," "Dramarama" and more.

Ahead of the much-anticipated concert event, (which was postponed to this weekend after originally being scheduled for July 27), the K-pop group chatted with Billboard over email about everything from the first music they ever purchased, the dream concerts they'd want to attend, what's left on their bucket list as a band, their devotion to their fans (known as Monbebe) and more.

1. What’s the first piece of music that you bought for yourselves, and what was the medium (CD, vinyl, digital download, etc.)?

Shownu: I remember buying Kim Bum Soo's album One Day as a CD.

Minhyuk: I bought a full-length (regular) album of Korean idol Sunbaenim.

Kihyun: A CD of SG Wannabe's 1st album, and that was my first CD.

Joohoney: I used to listen to a lot of songs as MP3 files.

IM: What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.

2. What was the first concert you each saw?

Shownu: I don't remember exactly, but it was probably Ne-Yo's concert in Korea.

Minhyuk: Hmm, the solo concert of Kim Junsu. It was amazing.

Kihyun: It was a concert by Kwill Hyung, a singer from the same agency as us.

Hyungwon: I guess it was a concert of YG singers (YG Entertainment).

Joohoney: Bigbang Concert.

IM: Psy Sunbaenim's concert, which is famous for being super high tension, was my first concert.

3. What was your dream job when you were little kid?

Shownu: Swimmer, office worker and singer.

Minhyuk: I’ve always wanted to be a singer.

Kihyun: President, scientist, pastor, etc.. I had so many dream jobs I wanted to be when I was young.

Hyungwon: It may sound very unexpected, but I had a time when I wanted to be a lawyer.

Joohoney: When I was really young, a soccer player was always on the side of my mind.

IM: I thought about becoming a scientist.

4. Who made you realize you could be an artist full-time?

Shownu: I think it can be simple and easy to start what I want right now, but it was the fans who really made me think that I could be an "artist."

Minhyuk: I think I've convinced myself that I've wanted this job so badly.

Kihyun: Friends or people around me helped me dream of having this dream and become a singer.

Hyungwon: I think I came to realize it because my parents supported me a lot.

Joohoney: Since I saw Michael Jackson’s stage. I think that’s the moment I’ve wanted to be an artist full-time.

IM: I liked to sing, and I started to have a dream of becoming a singer.

BS: You might have noticed a different voice in the booth. Minhyuk, unfortunately, is at home sick so we have a guest to help finish today’s episode. Some of you may know her as the host of Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-staurant as well as other KBS programs.

Y/N: Hello everyone, I’m Lee Y/N, nice to meet you. I hope we have a fun time watching the episode together. Let’s get started, shall we?

BS: This superman family lives in a spacious modern two-floor studio-style apartment. The big open windows bring natural light to emphasize the minimalistic design elements.

BS: Walking into the house we're immediately blown away by the neatly kept kitchen, breakfast bar, dining room table and spacious living room. The main hallway has two bedrooms.

Y/N: One is used as a storage room for clothes and other materials, while the other holds a neatly kept pink princess bed that looks brand new, a play kitchen as well as other toys.

BS: We’ve seen the majority of the house on this point but still haven’t met a single soul. Who on Earth could this superman family be?

Carefully carrying your daughter from your bathtub onto the bathroom floor of the master bathroom, she grabs a cute green spring dress sitting on the towel rack to put on herself.

Turning away for a second to grab the hairdryer and brush in the sink drawers.“Do you want to brush your hair this time?” you ask your daughter.

BS: That voice sounds oddly familiar, perhaps they’re friends of ours.

Y/N: I know right? Maybe they're outside of seventeen. I know Krystal Wang has been a popular tv host lately.

BS: That’s right. I’ve actually talked to Jackson Hyung about joining the show, and he seems interested. But I'm not 100% sure about that."

“Yes please, mommy!” Your daughter nods energetically handing her the brush. She begins brushing her hair while you turn the hairdryer on.

Once completely dried you turn it off and begin applying lotion onto her face.

You gently wipe the remainder of the lotion residue and leave a kiss on her button nose.

“Mommy, can I have another kiss?” She asks sweetly with her lips in a pout. Laughing at her expression before kissing the top of her head and finally revealing your face to the camera.

BS: Oh my gosh, Noona that’s you and Seol-hee. I can’t believe you didn’t tell me you were going to be on the show.

Y/N: Your favourite Hyung and I made a bet to see who’s making dinner tonight. I’m glad it worked out in my favour.

BS: This means our final dad for today’s episode is none other than Dokyeom-Hyungie!

“Can daddy also get a kiss?” you and your daughter turn to see your husband leaning against the doorway.

Seokmin struts into the room before picking your daughter up naturally into his arms.

The weight of your body shifts as you're tippy-toeing to leave a quick peck on his cheek. He jerks his head fast without thinking causing the two of you to accidentally touch lips.

Both of you are left in a blushing mess shyly looking away from each other as your daughter begins complaining about not getting any kisses from her dad.

Hello, my name is Lee Seol-hee, I am 4 years old. My mother is Y/N and my father is Lee Seokmin. Please take care of my family.” Your daughter bows respectfully to the camera.

A contented fatherly smile can be noted on your husband’s face as he watches. “I’m Lee Seol-hee’s father, musical actor and Seventeen’s main vocalist, Lee Dokyeom”

I’m her mother Lee Y/N, an experienced journalist, singer and host of varying KBS programs. Thank you for welcoming us into your family.

How did you two first meet?

“I got hired at my first journalist job and was asked to interview the EMK Company when they first put on the musical ‘Xcalibur.’ Seok was one of the final actors to be interviewed.”

Seokmin laughs thinking about how that day had planned out for him. “It was so embarrassing. I had just finished a Seventeen schedule, so I had to run from the studio straight to the theatre all sweaty and as soon as I saw her my eyes went wide in disbelief.”

“Disbelief?” You presented him a questionable look.

“Yeah, I couldn’t understand how on Earth God let one of his most beautiful angels come to and bless me with her presence.”

Quickly place your hands over your cheeks to cover the embarrassing redness from showing up on the camera. “Ah stop, you’re making me blush. There’s no way you thought that.”

“Did too,” he pouts while insisting, “that’s why I was so awkward and nervous during the interview. Even more so when I asked for your number and you said yes. Every day since then has almost been like a dream.” He receives his hand in yours caressing the back of your hand with his thumb lovingly.

When did you realize you wanted to get married?

“Oof, that’s a good question.” nodding enthusiastically before turning to your husband, “Did you want to go first?”

“Sure. I would say it was during one of our late-night pillow talks, and we started talking about the future. I had never had a relationship where we openly spoke about it.”

He stares at your eyes lovingly, his lips producing a smile as he spoke. “ With Y/N, we both discussed the idea of an apartment, kids and a dog. It was the first time someone ever reciprocated the same hopes and dreams I wanted.”

You gasp, surprised by his answer. “Are you some kind of mind reader? I was thinking the same thing.” You grasp his hand to hold before showing it off to the camera. “We really have the best teamwork.”

How did you react when Seol-Hee was born?

“Y/N and I had been trying for a baby for almost a year straight and almost gave up.” You squeeze his hand reassuringly before picking up from where he spoke.

You smile at him before speaking towards the camera. “We tried one more time, before deciding to take a break. In some twist of fate, I got pregnant.”

“The months leading up to her birth were stressful mostly because Seventeen was preparing for a comeback.” He explains, getting exhausted just by the memory of that day.

“It was during a performance Y/N had called my manager saying that her water broke.”

“When we finally got to hold her in our arms that day, it was almost as if all the worry and doubt had left my body and was replaced by the love that I had always longed to feel.” You look down at your daughter, who had managed to fall asleep on your lap during the interview.

What can the viewers look forward to with your family?

“Being in an idol group as well as musical theatre has definitely influenced my own family. There isn’t a time where either Y/N and I or even Seol-Hee aren’t singing, laughing or cracking the cheesy jokes.”

He utters a chuckle as he speaks. “We hope you enjoy the silliness of our quirky family.”

MONBEBES COMEBACK PREPARATION

Hello! As you may or may not know, Monsta x’s schedule has been updated to the usual “comeback syung syung”, meaning in a week or two we will get the first comeback announcement. This means it’s definetely time to get ready for them as well!

How?

The main things you can do in this period of time are:

1. get points on different voting apps

2. testing out MV streaming

3. save up money, if possible (not fully necessary though!)

So let’s get through these three points

1. GET POINTS ON VOTING APPS

Almost each music show has a prevoting/live voting system based on a phone app. I’ll go in order by the week day of the show.

A. STARPLAY (THE SHOW APP)

The Show is now using Starplay app. On this app, you can get 5 silver stars every hour by watching advertisements or more by doing missions. Since a birthday poll for Minhyuk and Kihyun is going on, I suggest keep some silver stars for them and then change the stars to the show points. If you don’t swap. silver stars expire every month, so please remember that. On contrary, The Show points never expire, so you don’t have to worry!

REMINDER: Starplay has both prevoting (unlimited) and Live voting (3 votes) so make sure to have 3 points to vote on tuesdays!

B. IDOL CHAMP (SHOW CHAMPION APP)

Show Champion uses Idol Champ since basically always. To sum up, to actually vote them on Show Champion, you just need to log in daily, as it takes 3 red hearts. Usually, though, we try to also win polls, champ of the month and to get the free promo through star advertisements. Since there’s a very big Idol Champ organizatioon on twitter, please head HERE for any question or to keep updated on what we’re trying to wi and what not. There is no live voting.

C. WHO’S FAN (MCOUNTDOWN APP)

Mcountdown actually has different system of voting, mostly on their website based on your location, but also this app. Actually, to vote on Mcountdown, you just have to login in voting days once, get the voting point and vote. Usually, though, we also try and get the BUS advertisement, which is available with normal who’sfan points, that you simply get by logging in daily on the app. Live voting is through messages (+822336)

4. MUBEAT (MUSIC CORE APP)

Music Core decided to get a international voting app as well. This app, which will probably be The Show app as well anytime soon, has heartbeats points, available by watching 15 adv by day and through missions. Prevoting is totally unlimited and the points expire after 3 months, so if you can please start collecting.

5. AZTALK (INKIGAYO VOTING APP, ONLY FOR VERIFIED MELON USERS)

Inkigayo always used AZtalk app for prevoting, but, as the show itself is very Korean and not open to the world, the voting system is as well. Personally, I was never able to vote even with a rented Melon account because they’re somehow very special, so I believe that it works with fully verified accounts only. All I know is that AZtalk is where to vote for it, so if you happen to have a Melon working account please check if you can vote!

2. TESTING OUT MV STREAMING

As you know, streaming the MV throughout the comeback is very useful and important and also free. Noone really knows how the most efficient streaming works, so the only way is to test it out on old videos that barely get views. All I know is that, apparently, you don’t have to log out of your account, change video AND channel often, wait around 10 minutes before replaying it, interact in the comments WITHOUT using emojis, search their name or the song name often. Another tip I can give is to get a free month of Youtube premium, so that every view should count!

3. SAVE UP MONEY, IF POSSIBLE

As you know, Monsta x don’t really do well on Korean charts, so all we can do is helping kmonbebes to stream on their platforms.Unfortunately not even a single Korean music platform is free or have free trials, this means that if you want to help, you have to pay. There’s another way though! If you have a lot of free time but no money, there will be many streaming projects asking for volunteers to stream the songs 24/7 on the top two streaming sites: Melon and Genie.

So, first, I’ll leave the general costs of passes from trusted accounts:

MELON: verified acc + 30 days of streaming pass > 23$

verified acc + 30 days + 30 downloads > 36$

1 song download > 3$ (please note that downloads help a lot!!)

This is the main site we always try to chart in, that the boys check and care about the most. so please, if you even can save up even just 3 dollars for a song download, do it

GENIE: verified acc + 30 days of streaming pass > 20$

verified acc + 30 days + 30 downloads > 28$

streaming 50 times > 3$

30 download > 15$

these are the cheapest options I’ve found for both sites, but there’s more, so if you want to check them out, this is the prices masterlist.

Now let’s get to the “free ways of streaming”.

For Melon, all you can do is join streaming projects or win a random giveaway on Twitter. For Genie, instead, “limited streaming times” are what can help in a free way. You can create a Genie acc no matter where you are and use these links once a hour that some monbebes accounts leave. Every stream you do on those count on charts and all you need is ¾ minutes to stream the song every hour. Since it’s limited streams, they will expire once the count gets to zero, so if you want I’ll try to make a list and update it often!
