So remember how in the pilot episodes they showed Jay trying to help Zane understand social cues and how to interact with others, and later on they keep showing how Zane is helped by Jay on how to be a human, how to express and communicate and joke and know that you and the people around you are capable of making connections?

Remember how Zane in the early seasons especially used the other ninja to help him understand others and so on?

Remember how Jay is the most emotional of the lot and how Zane wasn’t?

So can you see my point when i say that Jay was probably Zane’s first ever example of emotions and was probably taught by the other how to understand his own emotions?

Can you see my point when i say that when Nya died and Jay went into multiple panic attacks and let his emotions control him like nothing else ever has, lashing out at the people he considers a family, Zane took that as a reason to turn his emotions off??? Because he didn’t want to be like Jay???? He didn’t want to take the risk of his emotions effecting him like that???

Batejebej i love noting how much the other taught Zane how to understand others and himself and how that affected him.

for the first month after nya's sacrifice, storms raged.

buildings were lightning rods. the sound of thunder was commonplace. dark clouds covered the sky as far as the eye could see. nobody died, thank god, but there were close calls.

tests were run. studies were conducted. professionals were called in. even then, nobody knew what was causing such freak weather.

all they knew was that the seas remained untouched.
