“You know what?” Niki sighs, staring up at the blue sky.
“What?” you ask, looking over at your mate.
“I actually miss school.”
You sat up quickly, glaring down at him, “Did I hear that correctly?!?”
Niki rolled his eyes but smiled so wide as he sat up, “Yes you did,” he wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you closer to him, “I didn’t stutter did I?”
“Don’t be an ass,” you teased, rubbing your nose against his, “Just never thought I would actually hear those words from you.”
Your mate chuckled and placed a kiss on your temple, “It’s a shock to me too. But I honestly very much rather be stuck in a classroom than doing with…all this.”
Both you and Niki sigh. It was true. You also wished nothing more than to be stuck in a classroom relearning the same bullshit over and over than having to be dealing with this war. It was draining, not just for you and Niki, but the whole pack. And with Heeseung still unconscious almost two weeks later…
“What are you thinking about, my love?” Niki asked, pushing a strand of your hair behind your ear, “I can see the gears turning.”
You sigh again, “What can we do? To help?”
Niki stared off into the distance. He wished he knew what could be done. To help Heeseung and his queen. To help Jay. To help Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and all the females in this pack. To get Lilly to talk. To find who the traitor is. To be of some help in whatever way possible. It was eating Niki alive. And with him being the youngest, what could he really actually do? His eyes lit up.
You faced your whole body towards him, crossing your legs underneath you, “I know that look, what did that mischievous brain of yours cook up?”
All Niki did was smirk, “I have an idea, but we’ll need to talk to Jay Hyung first.”
Jay grabbed a fist full of her dark red hair and flung her head back, hovering Heeseung’s blade over her throat, “Still not wanting to talk?”
Lilly chuckled. Sweat dripped down her face and her skin was pale. She hasn’t fed or drank since being trapped down here.
Jay scoffs, inching the blade closer, “I told you time and time again if you just give us the information we want, we’ll give you all the blood you desire.”
Lilly kept her smirk, “I'd rather die than spill what I know.”
“I can make that happen too,” he growled, barely touching the blade to her throat. She hissed as the metal burned into her skin. Jay kept it pressed there for several minutes before removing it and flinging her head forward, “Too bad for you, you’re valuable to us.”
Lilly was chained down to the floor, the chains made of the same metal as the king's weapons. If she even tried to break the chains, her hands would be completely burned.
“Why don’t you go ask the queen and the brat that’s mated to the youngest?” she spat, “Those traitors will tell you plenty.”
Jay quickly cupped her face and placed the blade on her right cheek, pressing it so hard against her skin Jay could hear the sizzling of her skin burning. Lilly cried out in pain, gritting her teeth together.
“Jay,” Jungwon said with a warning as he leaned against the wall by the door, crossing his arms.
Jay’s eyes flashed crimson and pulled away, “Don’t speak ill of our ladies.”
Lilly took a few deep breaths, tilting her head, “You’re trying so hard to fill the king’s shoes. It’s a pity, really.”
Now it was Jungwon who held a knife to the side of her face, his hand gripping her neck. Eyes crimson and fangs to their point, “I suggest you keep your damn mouth shut when it comes to speaking about the king in command,” he hissed, “And be grateful we are even being so gracious. Heeseung wouldn’t have been as merciful.”
Lilly knew that too. She studied Heeseung for the longest time after he became crowned king. Saw the lengths he went to protect what was his. Saw what he did to his now queen before they mated.
Jungwon shoved her back and walked towards the door, stopping beside Jay, “It’s almost time.”
Jay nodded, “I’m giving you one last chance, Lilly. Talk or you’ll go another day without blood.” She kept silent. So with a shrug, Jay and Jungwon walked towards the door, leaving her alone.
You watched as the oldest pack members searched the meeting room from top to bottom, checking for any cameras, mics, or any other bugs that could be used for listening and watching, thankfully finding that there were none.
“Okay,” Jungwon said, motioning for everyone to sit down, “Let’s begin.”
Niki sat down beside Jay, and you to your mates left, “Hyung,” Niki said, pulling Jay’s attention to him, “Are Jake and __ on duty?”
Jay nodded, “They are eating in front of her, trying to get her to break.”
Niki scrunched his nose at the cruelness, but knew it was what needed to be done. Each member and their mate (excluding the queen) have been taking turns watching Lilly during the day and overnight. With the possibility of a spy roaming the castle, they need all eyes on Lilly around the clock.
The queen quickly walked into the meeting room, “I am sorry for being late,” she quickly rushed to the other end of the table, “Had to wait for M to leave my side,” she sat down and looked over to the witch and elf, “How is the barrier on Heeseung’s room?”
They both smiled at the queen, “It’s holding up perfectly,” the witch said, taking Sunghoon’s hand in hers, “We double-checked his room before coming here, everything is in place and he’s okay.”
The elf nodded, “I would also be alerted if anyone who isn’t one of the pack members got too close to his room without permission. Everything is fine.”
The queen nodded, clearly worried for her mate.
“So,” Jay said, officially starting the meeting, “Has anyone gathered anything? Whether that is from any of the staff here at the castle or Lilly or anything else.”
The room fell silent and everyone glanced at each other. This was normal for each meeting. It was hard to gather information when there was no other information to begin with. It was a suggestion that Jungwon came up with two weeks ago about the possibility of having a spy running around here. But it’s also the only thing that made sense.
“My queen, YN,” Jay said, shifting forward in his seat, “I know I’ve asked both of you this multiple times, but is there anything you can remember about Lilly?”
The queen smiled, “Jay, I’ve told you many times that there is no need to address me as such when it’s just us. Heeseung has said so as well.”
Jay smiled back at her, “It’s gotten to be a habit being here, I apologize.” It’s become a big habit for everyone. The whole pack has had to stay on their toes since coming to this castle, always having their guard up and having to act in specific ways.
The queen looked over at you, “It’s hard to say anything about Lilly besides she was second to Dorian.”
You nodded with a sigh, “She wasn’t around much,” you looked over to Niki, him giving a nod that it was okay, then you looked over to Jay, “Being the youngest in the compound made it hard. I didn’t exactly have a voice and Dorian only used me to keep tabs on her enemies since I would be just disregarded as some kid.”
The memories flashed back to when you met Niki for the first time and how Dorian used you to get to Niki and get the information he needed. It all backfired quickly once you mated with Niki. Even worse once the queen had the red string slowly tying around herself and Heeseung. Dorian really didn’t stand a chance.
“She wasn’t around often, like YN said,” the queen continued, “I was third to Dorian, but I was with him more than she was. Lilly always had something else to do, or somewhere else to be. She was his eyes and ears on everything, after all.”
Jay sat back in his chest, bouncing his leg quickly at the frustration of it all. They were running in circles. Complete full circles.
Jay’s mate touched her hand to his knee, “Seong, it’s okay.” Her smile and touch were enough to relax him, his hand intertwining with hers.
Niki still wasn’t used to seeing Jay become so calm so quickly. His mate definitely changed that in him.
“What about any news on the rest of her army?” Sunghoon asked, “Jake and I were hoping we’d be the next sent out to look.”
Jungwon and Sunoo were the ones who were sent out earlier in the day. They came back covered in blood, so it’s safe to say it went well.
“We found one of their camps,” Sunoo said with a sigh, “But nothing to show where the other locations are.”
Jungwon nodded, “She was still in the middle of forming an army, so it might be safe to say there aren’t many left over. But yes, if Jay approves it, you and Jake can head out tomorrow.”
Jay nodded in approval, “Please do.”
The meeting ended quickly and everyone started to head out, all except Niki and you, catching Jay’s attention.
“We have something we want to talk about,” you said to Jay, your fingers gripping the sleeve of his shirt, “We want to help more.”
Jay looked back and forth between you and your mate, “What shenanigans are you two plotting?”
Niki just smirks and wraps his arm around your shoulders, “Ya know, just being the teenagers that we are.”
Jay chuckled, smirking back, “I am listening.”
To say you and Niki have been annoying is…an understatement.
But it was the perfect plan.
The way Niki told you and Jay, it would make it easier to watch the others. To sneak off somewhere and cause chaos to learn what they need to.
At first, it started off just you and Niki racing around the castle, running specifically past the meeting rooms when you both know there’s a meeting happening. Being loud with your feet stomping on the floor and how loud your laughs were. The racing turned into playing soccer in the lobby. Jake even joined a few times in passing. Which irritated the officials, but they minded their business besides scrunching their noses at you three. Because why would they say anything? You're in a pack with the king. Then soccer turned into baseball. Which Jake joined in as well and even Jay.
Which pissed off E the most. Jay was supposed to act as a king, not a child.
“You’re the king! Act like it!” E snapped at Jay after catching the baseball to quickly stop the game, “And you three!” he snapped pointing his index finger back and forth between you, Niki, and Jake, “Sports are for outside!”
Jay shrugged it off, taking the baseball back from E and tossing it to Niki, “Let them have fun,” E opened his mouth to protest but Jay burned his crimson eyes, “You won’t disrespect my family or my wishes.” And E left it at that.
You and Niki are now going on week two of the plan, and only so much information has been gathered. The most important one is that there’s a secret meeting that Niki figured out by the small number of keywords that he gathered while running chaotically around the castle and piecing conversations together.
“Hyung, how are we going to listen in on this meeting?” Niki asked down the bond only between him and Jay as they all sat at the dinner table with wine glasses filled with blood in front of each of them. The witch and elf had actual wine and boy are they a sight to see drunk.
The witch clung to Sunghoon with a massive smile on her face and Sunghoon just sipped his blood unfazed by his mate's silly behavior.
The elf’s face was slightly pink, but her people were used to drinking and having to overcome it, but she still giggled and laughed with Sunoo.
Jay smiled at his family before making a glance at Niki and sipping from his glass, “When is the meeting?”
“Tonight.”
Jay made another quick glance at Niki and then at you, “I have to watch Lilly tonight, you two will have to figure it out.”
“Hyung.”
Jay sighs, “Go sneak into the room and keep quiet, and don’t get caught.”
Without another thought, Niki took you by the hand and rushed you out of the dining room.
The two of you stood in the close on the far side of the king’s office. Or well, the previous king’s office. Niki hasn’t seen Heeseung use this office at all. And from the stories he’s been told, Heeseung avoids this office like the plague because of the memories it brings back. Niki doesn’t blame him.
To pass the time, you and Niki played rock, paper, scissors, or tried to tickle each other.
Honestly, it was obvious you and Niki were made for each other. Not only being stuck in seventeen-year-old bodies, but your humor and maturity levels are the same. It was a blessing, truly.
Niki cupped your face and squeezed your cheeks, giggling at the facial expression you were now giving him, “Shhh!!” you tried to hush his giggles through your squeezed cheeks, but it only made him giggle more.
You reached up and pinched his cheeks and twisted. A soft ouch escaping his lips and letting go of your face. But his giggles didn’t stop, slowly getting higher in pitch. “Shh!!” you tried again, now pinching his lips together but his smile forced your fingers to slip past his lips, “Nishimura Riki,” you whispered, once again cupping his face and bringing him closer to you, connecting your lips to his. And of course that calmed him down.
But his smile? Never faded away, “I am truly lucky to have been mated to you,” he whispered between the kisses, “I love you.”
You pulled back and placed your forehead against his, “I love you too, you silly duck.”
Before Niki could speak, the doors to the office opened. It was time.
Jay crossed his arms over his chest, tilting his head down at Lilly, “It’s been four weeks. Give it up.”
Lilly was barely able to look up at him, her skin so pale and her body weak from the lack of blood, “Just kill me.”
Jay walked over to her, kneeling down to her level, “You know that’s not how our pack works,” he pulled the blade from his belt, twisting it between his fingers, “Give me the information I want, and I’ll give you blood. It’s a fair trade.”
She tried to keep her head held up, to keep her eyes open but failed. She knew this pack would be good on their word…but, “They’ll kill me anyways for getting caught. Might as well get it over with.”
“Who?” Jay asked, furrowing his brows in confusion, “Who would kill you anyways?”
Your and Niki’s eyes widened. You covered your mouth to keep from letting any sounds escape. You couldn’t believe what you were hearing and from whom.
Jay’s eyes widened, “What is their plan, Lilly? Speak the fuck up now!” his eyes turned crimson, fangs slowly coming to a point, “I am not fucking around anymore! Our youngest is spying on them right now!! SPEAK. UP.”
Lilly sighs, “They want the throne. Always wanted it. They used Dorian as their pon, and when Heeseung killed him that responsibility was thrown to me. They didn’t tell us who the king was, only what area of the world to find him. That was until Heeseung showed up and officially took the throne. It took us years of planning. The final part is happening tonight.”
“We need to tell Jay, now,” Niki whispered, you quickly cupped his mouth, pleading with your mate to keep quiet.
“What are they planning?” Jay whispered, taking hold of Lilly’s head and forcing her to look up, “Spill.”
“Heeseung. They plan to finish him off tonight. But not until they kill all of your pack first.”
Niki’s eyes widened even more, “HYUNG!!” he shouted down the bond, “JAY!!” there was no response. The bond felt fuzzy, empty.
“Niki and YN are in that office with them!” Jay shouted, taking a step away from Lilly and running his hands through his blonde hair, stressing over finding a way to protect the two youngest.
“They have the power to mask speaking down the bonds,” Lilly said, “They probably already know those two are in that room and put that power to use.”
Niki kept screaming down the bond, not just to Jay, but anyone who would listen, “SOMEONE!!!!” Niki looked at you, “YN, what is going on?!” You just look back at him, trying to read his eyes, making it clear that the bond was cut off.
Jay held his hands at the back of his head, pacing the room, “We have a fucking problem,” he said, “Niki and YN are in danger.” Everyone spoke at once down the bond.
Lilly looked at Jay with pleading eyes, “They found them.”
The door to the closet opened. Niki quickly pulled you to him, his eyes burning crimson and fangs on full display, “Back the fuck off!” He snapped.
There was a chuckle, “You think I didn’t know you were in here?” Another chuckle, “Guess my plans are starting early.”
Jay gritted his teeth, rushing to Lilly and placing the blade close to her neck, “STOP THEM!!”
“I can’t,” she whispered, “They already cut that bond that tied me to them.”
Jay was freaking out. His heart raced so fast he could hear the beat in his ears. He did this. He allowed the two of them to snoop around. He was supposed to protect them, and he failed.
Before Jay could say anything back to her, he was pulled away, the blade taken from his hand and being completely sliced through her neck, blood spilling to the floor.
“Heeseung?!”
The king barely turned to look at Jay, his eyes their bright gold, Lilly’s blood splattered over his face.
Heeseung looked back to Lilly, her dead body limp on the floor.
“Does everyone else—“
“Know I am awake? They do now.” He softly spoke, “And so does the traitor.”
Heeseung turned, walking back to the door, “How!?” Jay asked, quickly falling into step at the king's side.
“I had a dream that Niki was screaming for help, turns out it wasn’t a dream and all my suspicions have been true all along.”
“You knew?” Jay scoffed, “And you never said anything?!”
Heeseung quickly turned to face Jay, “I did what I had to in order to protect this family!” he snapped, “I had eyes on my ass twenty-four-seven, you think I had time to speak up?”
Jay shook his head, “Down the bond!”
Heeseung shook his head, “Their power not only cuts off that access, but reads when it’s being spoken down.”
It made sense. It all finally connected together into one piece.
“Now,” Heeseung said, turning back to the door, “Let’s go get our kids.”

Mercy (Arthur and Tommy Shelby) + (Luca Changretta x fem!oc)
Tumblr media
Summary: Who's that tall black woman entering the Garrison without asking permission? Arthur Shelby felt something when he saw her. She was looking around, when finally she saw his blue eyes. "Who are ya?" he asked. "Mrs. Changretta," she answered "and you're the one who killed Luca."
Warnings: None.
Words: 1.7k || I'm sorry if I didn't capture Arthur's voice perfectly. It's hard enough to write in other language 🙃.
Tumblr media
One of her friends was trying to comfort her. Kelly was a dancer in the same place that Aveline sang and the same as her, she was a black woman.
Rumours were too loud to be false. And that explained his disappearance. Aveline was walking to her home when she first heard it.
"Luca Changretta is dead."
"He was betrayed. A mad man killed him."
Luca was dead. Aveline felt her heart breaking in thousand pieces but she refused to believe it. Anyone but Luca.
Next time she heard it was at her workplace. She was leaning against the counter when one man said to the other that the Changretta clan were part of the history now.
"Arthur Shelby."
"The peaky blinder?"
"The eldest one, yes. He shot him."
Her eyes filled with tears. Luca was an assassin and she knew that probably deserved to die, but it didn't mean that it hurt less.
"I'm going to England," he had said to her their last night together "I have business with certain family. But I'll return to you, amore mio."
Aveline smiled at him, while Luca kissed her bare shoulders. "Will you be alright?"
"Of course, Linnie. As always. My sweet Linnie."
They made love once again. That same night Luca gifted her his pocket watch and a brooch made of gemstones. "So you can remember me," he said. "You know, beautiful lillies are Italy national flower and when I saw this brooch I thought it was a perfect present for you. You're a beautiful flower."
She kissed him. Months later, Aveline still could feel his lips over hers and his tongue in her mouth. Luca was as passionate as dangerous.
That was the last memory she had of him.
Now
Birmingham has nothing to do with New York. It was cloudy, cold, rainy and full of mud. And in comparison it was really small. You could hide in New York but apparently not in Birmingham.
Small Heath was almost empty. Very few people pay attention to her.
"Where's the Garrison?" she asked to a man who was selling milk.
"Two blocks away, ma'am. But be careful, not good people."
"I know. And I appreciate your help, sir."
Arthur was smoking and drinking whiskey waiting for Tommy who was dealing with new partners and Michael. Their cousin was starting to be a nuisance and they tolerate him only because of Polly.
Some men were drinking there as well, minding their own business.
The door opened again. This time the person who entered was a really tall woman. Arthur looked at her. Her slim and yet curvy figure was covered by a purple dress. Her gloves were black as her hair. And Arthur could say that she was a pretty woman but most of all, he was impressed by her height. Taller than him, for sure who was the tallest of the family. So different from his wife. The black woman talked quietly with the barman and he pointed to Arthur who gulped.
He stood up when she walked towards him. He wasn't used to see people taller than him. He had to lift up his head to look at her.
"Good afternoon," she greeted.
"Good afternoon, ma'am. How can I help ya?"
"Are you Arthur Shelby?"
"Indeed, ma'am. The owner of this foockin' bar. Who are ya?"
The black woman extended her hand and Arthur took it "Aveline is my name. I'm from New York… and I'm Mrs. Changretta."
A cold shiver ran through his spine. Luca Changretta was married? That killer bastard had a woman? How could Tommy ignore that? Arthur could see Luca behind his wife smiling triumphantly at him.
"Did you really think that you could kill me without consequences, Shelby?" He imagined Luca bitting his toothpick and smirking. "I just sent you my beautiful black angel."
Arthur blinked, still confused. Luca Changretta had a woman and she was there, probably, to kill him.
"May I sit down?"
"Sure, yeah. Yes." Arthur moved the chair and helped her. Then ordered the barman to bring her a glass of gin.
"How can I help ya?" He asked seconds later when they were alone once again.
"I need answers. I really need answers." Aveline touched the glass but didn't drink. Her long fingers grabbed it, feeling the coldness of it. "Why?" Now her dark brown eyes were looking at him.
Arthur drunk another glass of whiskey before answering. "He killed my little brother. My Johnny boy. Then he tried to kill us one by one. I had to."
"You talked as you didn't have another chance."
"I foockin' didn't. It was him or us."
.
"Who's the woman Arthur is talking to?" Tommy Shelby arrived at the pub and saw his brother talking to a woman he had never seen before. The barman shrugged.
"No idea, Mr. Shelby, she came in and asked for Arthur they're talking since then."
From the distance, Tommy studied his brother. Arthur clearly wasn't flirting with her, he wasn't trying to seduce her. Arthur was uncomfortable, but the question was why.
The leader of the Peaky Blinders walked towards them. He put his cap inside his pocket and approached the lady.
"Who are you?" she asked confused by his attitude.
"Don't you know who am I?"
"Should I? I have no clue who the hell are you, sir, but I'm talking with this gentleman."
"He's my brother," interrupted Arthur. "The one in charge: Tommy."
So that was Thomas Shelby? Aveline stood up slowly and looked at him. He barely surpassed her breasts. She saw his blue eyes trying to reach hers, so Aveline lowered her head facing him. "Good afternoon, then, sir."
But Tommy wasn't a man who could be easily intimidated, not even for a tall woman. Why was she so tall? So he didn't apart his eyes from hers. The woman barely blink.
"She's Changretta's wife," Arthur said looking at the table. Only then Tommy stared at his brother and then at the woman again. "Luca Changretta in any case," clarified.
Tommy wasn't sure about it. He investigated. He really did it and as far as he knew, Changretta was a single man. Too busy for love, for a woman. "I need proofs," he said.
"What makes you think that I'm going to show you some proofs apart from my words? Do you want me to prove you that I knew him and that I loved him with every inch if my body? Luca was everything to me."
"He was not married."
"Not officially. Look at me, Mr. Shelby. I'm nothing but a black woman, do you know the atrocities I have to hear day after day? The things his family said to me! But Luca… he was different. We didn't married officially because it's forbidden, because in the eyes of the law I'm less than person. But we did married. Alone, just him and me. I became Mrs. Changretta one cold night after a particularly bloody massacre. I didn't approve it, but I always accepted Luca the same way he accepted me. I'm Mrs. Changretta. Like it or not."
Tommy lit a cigarette. It didn't seem to him that the woman was lying. Only a wife could talk that way of a man like Luca. What she wanted, then? Money? He offered her a cheque but Aveline cursed him.
"I came here because I needed to talk to Arthur Shelby. His name crossed the ocean. Of course, the hero who killed the monster."
"Not a hero, ma'am. Just a man. I won't ask for your forgiveness, this just our job."
"I don't believe in forgiveness. I don't believe in mercy. And considering your job, I don't think you believe in it either. Don't worry about that."
Aveline studied the eldest brother. Unlike the other one, he looked defeated. She imagined Arthur Shelby like a knight in a shining armour. Brave, arrogant, despicable. Instead, he was nothing but just a man. Probably haunted by his own demons. Amazing that he was the one who killed her Luca. Her poor Luca. It seemed he was more willing to talk until Thomas Shelby appeared, now it looked like he was looking for his permission to open the mouth. Tommy Shelby was clearly in charge.
"Then, if you already talked to Arthur and if you don't want money. Maybe what you want is protection, a shelter… I know a woman in London. She works helping women in need. Her name is Rose Solomons…"
"Ya foockin' kill Alfie!! Ya don't want two widows, thanks to the Shelbys, together, Tom."
"Oh, another one. What a nice hobby. Killing husbands must be a nice entertainment." Aveline, snorted.
"Same hobby as Luca. Ask John's wife what she thinks about it." Tommy replied.
"The same wife who run away from your family with the kids? That one? Esme Lee-Shelby, nice woman… she wants you dead."
Tommy chuckled, "I see you did your job."
"I'm a Changretta, do not underestimate me. But, I'm not a killer. My hands are clean and so is my soul." Aveline closed her eyes just for a few seconds. "Do not fear me. I'm harmless. I'm just a singer and now I'm just delivering a message."
"What's the message?"
"The blood of Luca Changretta will chase you. From now and for the next decades."
"All Changrettas are dead," affirmed Tommy Shelby.
Aveline smiled at him, "Wrong. There's still one. Augustus Caesar Changretta my son. His son. Named after the founder of the Roman Empire. Fascinating, don't you think? Maybe he'd found a new Italian empire. It'd be interesting that in the future a tall black man appears in front of you claiming vengeance for a father he never met."
Their last night together, Luca and Aveline had made a baby. The boy was a little over a year old now. The kid was protected by a person she trusted very much.
Aveline stood up and walked through the pub until she reached the door.
"I don't have anything else to say. Good afternoon, a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Shelbys." She was ready to leave but stopped for a moment "Do you know what Italian word Luca taught me first?"
Arthur shook his head and Tommy just looked at her.
"Vendetta."

Ok hear me out: once the crew gets to bauldurs gate they have mini funerals ala good place.
(part 1)
I'll give you a taster (+ my beautiful redeemed bhaalspawn):
Gale:
Gales "funeral" would be at a library. He would pile books together as a makeshift coffin and wear a bright pink night robe with fuzzy slippers and curlers in his hair, as well as a dusty pink eye mask. Everyone would be wearing some sort of robe, his flowers of choice for the event would be lilly of the valley.
"gale died doing what he loved, learning."
"some might say this would be the ultimate fate for gale"
He would interject, eating the cucumber on his eye, "I do not think the best outcome for me would be turning into an ilithid. But I must admit- it is fitting."
Later events would be a wine tasting and going shopping for new books.
Shadowheart:
I feel like hers would be a moonlight bonfire, lots of ring dancing and setting her old sharran armor on fire.
"I think-" karlach would start up "a lot of us would be dead if we didn't have our cleric. So shadowheart has earned her props.. not only is she reliable- she is resilient, she is strong."
"despite our quarrels, I am glad to fight with you. I have watched you bloom into a magnificent warrior, for what force? We will see soon enough. May your death be glorious." La'zel quipped.
Her flowers of choice would be night orchids. she would then insist on learning how to swim and manage a doggie paddle.
Karlach:
I feel like hers would be on the beach with a fruity drink in hand as she floats around in the water. The fish around her have probably boiled, which is more incentive for a fish fry.
Everyone gets like a back breaking hug. Lots of physical activities party games wise, be drunk and merry. Most likely people get a bit sunburnt and burnt burnt.
There is no speeches as Karlach is too busy expressing her gratitude about everyone else.
She gets withers to do limbo with her
Her choice of flower is sunflowers.
La'zel:
She would like to opt out of this. a simple "thank you la'zel, may you die horribly in battle. May your wounds bleed out and may you suffer immensely" will suffice.
(her choice of flower is snap dragons)
Jaheria:
Hers would be a touristy walk of bauldurs gate.
She talks about her life, a sense of oral history to pass onto others. The night ends with root veggies chips and cheese, and a generous donation to animal sanctuaries within the cities from the Harpers.
Her idea of fun is bastardizing the ballads that volo wrote via mad libs. Which immature humor ensues.
The mighty _____ o' noble _____ (noun *x2)
Found ___ and sent them back to ____ and ____ (noun, adj*x2)
She would rest in a fainting couch in a puddle of sun in the wildshape form of a big cat, tail swishing idily as people read off their bastardized poems.
Her choice of flowers are jasmine blooms.
Wyll:
His would be a picnic in the park, as people read their speeches to him in comfortable sun dresses and loose cotton clothing, he would hold a little bouquet of daisies resting on a soft gingham sheet with a crown of flowers.
He would insist of going to his favorite pastry shops in the city. Sweet wine, tarts and small cakes. A day of sweets to remember the sweetest person in the camp.
His whole funeral was about allowing everyone to experience the childhood he knew, which wasn't much, but was something he knew they needed.
The look of pure joy in everyone's faces was enough to sustain him for the rest of his days.
The goals were, teach karlach hopscotch, double dutch with Wynne, climb a tree with astarion, and show la'zel some human dances. The older people in the group were less inclined to indulge, taking the roll of the gossiping parents to the 20 something aged other members in the band.
The night ended with dances and fiddle music.
His choice of flowers are thistle blooms

Utter Chaos
Oof, this may be the dumbest and most chaotic thing I've ever written. I'm writing the second part to the fic where the Party forgot Steve's birthday so stay tuned. Please leave your thoughts in the comments!
~*~*~*~
Robin was his best friend, his ride or die, his Platonic soulmate with a capital P. He knew she still wasn’t comfortable enough  to come out to the Party just as he wasn’t. So when she accidentally made a gay comment that outed herself, of course Steve jumped to focus everyone’s attention on himself.
Robin was talking to Nancy about the failures of dating or something when it happened. She laughed at Nance’s comment about having crushes on poor choices.
“Yeah, I had a crush on Vickie until I found out she had a boyfriend.” Robin’s eyes widened as soon as she realized what she said.
“I mean-“ her panicked eyes whipped over to Steve’s and he knew he had to fix it.
“How’d you get over it? My crush on Eddie just won’t go away.” He asked, sounding confident and nonchalant but his insides were riling.
His words caused Eddie to suck in a deep breath of air and start choking. Steve looked at him and patted his back which only seemed to make the choking worse.
“Dude, are you okay?” Eddie just gave an undignified whimper in response.
Nancy’s eyes narrowed on Steve, “so what, you’re gay now?”
He felt oddly defensive in the face of her scrutiny and narrowed his eyes in retaliation. “No, I’m half-gay. What’s it to you?”
Robin cut Nancy off from the tirade that was sure to come, “Steve, it’s called bisexual.”
“Yeah, I’m that. I like guys and girls.”
Nancy paled a few shades, “that-that’s a thing?”
“Um yeah, obviously. I didn’t really realize it until I saw Eddie in the boat shed though.”
Eddie’s back tensed under Steve’s hand and he made a muffled shout of frustration and outrage. Steve just gave his shoulder a pat in commiseration. Yeah, he’d been there for months. Welcome to the club, Munson.
The rest of the Party was silent. Dustin was staring between him and Eddie in unbridled glee like all of his wishes had come true. Lucas and Max looked unperturbed like they’d known for months which knowing them, they might have. Will looked hopefully ecstatic and El was smiling happily. Mike though, looked pissed.
“That’s disgusting!” Mike yelled with his lip curled in disgust.
“Shut the hell up, Mike!” Nancy yelled at her brother.
Robin, Steve, and Eddie whipped their heads toward her but she just shrugged. “He shouldn’t talk to you guys like that. Plus, I’ve had a crush on Robin for weeks. I just didn’t know it was okay.”
Robin gasped obnoxiously and started hitting Steve’s shoulder over and over again. “Oh my god, oh my god, Steve! Oh my god! Can you believe this? Oh my god, no, does this violate our bro code? Oh no, she broke your heart. Of course you wouldn’t want me dating her.”
Steve just shook his head, “Robs, I just want you to be happy. I don’t mind if you want to date my ex. But if Nance hurts you like she hurt me, I’m gonna go after her and make her regret it.”
“Oh, thanks Steve!” She hugged him and he closed his eyes. At least everything had turned out right in the end.
He didn’t notice Hopper and Joyce at the top of the stairs. They were both staring into the basement in confusion at what they’d just heard. All Hop could do was look at Joyce in utter befuddlement and mouth “what the fuck just happened?”
She just shrugged her shoulders, how the hell would she know?

Nozel Silva x Reader
Quote: "Fall in love with someone with someone brazen." & "Fall in love with someone that's filled with youth."
Someone You Loved Featuring: The Auteur
Nozel, contrary to popular belief, was numb.
Numb.
Such a dumb word.
They called him an eccentric. That he would burn the world down to the ground with his anger, drown the world in his tears, and brighten the future when he laughed. If only he ever laughed.
What a funny world this was.
Especially right now - when all he could feel was devoid. Devoid of any and all emotions.
He supposes going to a funeral would do something like that to him. Yours will be the first he attends after his mother’s. The first one he attended himself. The first with such strange instructions and set up. The funeral of his first… well you were a lot of his firsts. It seems almost unjust for him to simply sum it up when those moments would forever be so much more.
Growing up in a household like his own Nozel rarely had to share. In fact, he rarely even had to borrow things from others. The idea of borrowing something from another had even repulsed him at one point. He didn’t understand why or how people had done it in the first place.
Didn’t understand it at all until he met you.
Now he would never go as far as to say that he was borrowing you from another but it certainly did feel as though he were only borrowing your love.
That it was never something meant for him to keep. That he was merely a tourist in a world named your love.
And that idea, to a man that hated sharing, was absolutely horrifying.
He wishes that you weren’t so fickle.
Weren’t so far away.
Mostly though, he wishes that you never felt a need to keep a space between yourself and him.
While you may have been his first love he knows that almost for a fact that he is not yours. You’re simply much too experienced in matters of the heart for it to be any other way. And he was okay with that. He imagines that most people that fall in love with you are. It's simply just the way things are.
The funeral is nicer than Nozel thought. Not that he expected something shabby but he did expect something a little simpler. Something that would have suited your taste best. This event is perhaps even larger than your most popular exhibit. Though Nozel expects that whoever had been involved with the planning had likely wanted it to end with a bang. It would, afterall, forever be the last one you would ever host.
Your manager seemed like the most likely candidate. An older woman who Nozel had once mistaken for your mother. She was always scolding you for little things (despite your age) and fussed over your clothes much like his mother had when he was young. She would have wanted people to remember you for everything you were rather than an artist that was taken before their time.
Before their time, huh?
Most great artists die young, don’t they? Or at least the ones he hears about. The ones he hears about because they are the most tragic. Because they didn’t have the time in their lives to make mistakes that would have had them condemned or their work forgotten. Instead they went out with a bang - loud and clear - so that the world would always hear them. Left only with the echoes of who they were.
When the form of request to use Nozel’s photo had reached him Nozel had signed it without a second thought. He knew, of course, that the other Muses were likely contacted as well but he hadn’t been prepared for the sheer brilliance that lined the walls.
Large photos blasted up in dark wooden frames hung up against a stark white wall. Large hanging lights over each photo in an attempt to illuminate them further. All pieces being photos you kept to yourself because of love? Nozel doesn't know and he never thought to ask either.
At least they were all nice photos.
The nicest one, at least in the opinion of Nozel, is the Detective’s.
There’s a subtlety in the photo. A hint of a smile on the face of a man that looks as though he doesn't smile often. Something that screams ‘look at me’ in both a humble and modest way. An expression Nozel so desperately wishes to capture when he takes scenes of his own movies and films.
More is less.
Subtlety is key.
The man doesn't look like someone Nozel would’ve liked. He seems stubborn and stiff. Uncreative and overall an unpleasant man to work with. Makes sense though considering his occupation and all that. Those are traits needed for someone working in such an environment in the first place.
You must’ve found pleasure in teasing the man though. Made fun of him. Poked and prodded until you managed to worm your way into his heart. Or at least into a familiar enough position to be able to take a photo like that.
Nozel almost doesn't recognize the Detective in person when he sees him face to face. There’s no hint of a smile and his eyes are sharp and piercing. Nozel almost thinks that he might’ve been able to see the souls of others with how fierce his expression seemed to be. Something interesting but not malleable. Of course, such a state of being is expected of someone older. At least someone older than him.
The Detective looks as though he has a sour personality. Someone that’s seen too much in life. Someone that’s had too much to deal with to be someplace like this, yet here he is.
That makes Nozel wonder how much you must have affected this man’s life to be here today at all. It’s not everyday that such a large collection of people (from various different walks of life) come together in celebration of a single person. Though, Nozel suspects that all of these also would’ve come to celebrate your birthday if you asked. That they would’ve made the time (much like they did today) to see you. To be there for something that was important to you.
Nozel certainly did.
It’s a shame that you’ll never have a birthday again.
Nozel has never cared to celebrate such things, and neither were you, but he thinks it would’ve been nice if you had cared. At least once. Perhaps at one point you did but he doesn't look to ask.
Your family has arrived but it looks as though most of them had chosen not to attend today. They did have their own private service yesterday but it’s surprising that they haven't decided to come again. Perhaps they also suffered at the hand of the space you so always sought to keep.
As if other people could ever hurt you as much as being alone.
Nozel knows that better than anyone else.
But perhaps that is why you constantly sought the attention of a new muse.
He asked you about that once. Why you perfed to keep your space?
You laughed, laid down and thought to count the stars. A vast and endless amount yet insisted that he count along with you. Told him that the stars here looked different from the ones that you had grown up with. That it was not just the very land but the sky that has changed. Spoke about how you felt as though this world was constantly moving and shifting - and you wanted to move and shift with it. Whispered that you never wanted to stop moving onwards.
Then you looked at him as if that answer would be enough.
And it should’ve been.
Afterwards, you looked up at him and asked why he did the same.
Nozel, from a young age, had been placed upon a pedestal by everyone else. They smiled and praised him. Told him that one day he’d be brilliant. That he’d one day leave them all behind. Always for him. Never with him.
To put it simply, Nozel didn’t know how to be close to someone. Not without them disappearing on him like his mother had. Like how you had.
A salmon haired man, the Storyteller, catches Nozel’s attention next.
He has a samilair sorta pep to his step that you had. Glows with this familiar brilliance that you had when you were young. Nozel wonders if you would have been something like this man if you had managed to make it to his age. If that youthful glow Nozel loved so much about you would still be as bright and evident as the day when he first met you.
Nozel imagines it would be because despite your inability to stay still your personality never seemed to shift. You never seemed all too affected by the world around you. And it was a good thing. At least it had been.
The Storyteller looks almost familiar to Nozel but from where Nozel can’t quite place. Perhaps the two of them crossed paths once during one of your exhibits? He isn’t all too sure. Living a life like he did brought him to countless different people in such a short amount of time. It doesn't help that Nozel has never been all that good with memorizing names and faces either. Was he one of your earlier Muses?
Later ones?
It was kind of hard to tell.
Nozel did his best to attend your various exhibits but it was hard when work required so much of his time and attention. Even today, Nozel barely managed to get the time off. The upper management was hesitant but his casting crew were insistent. Almost going off on strike if not given this particular day off. And it pleased Nozel to know they cared so much about him but it also felt strange. He hadn’t been aware just how highly they thought of him.
The photo of the Storyteller is one where he’s much younger than he appears to be now. His face is devoid of stress lines that life gives you and his eyes look bright. Have a certain sparkle that says he’s going to change the world. He looks as though he’s just about to laugh at something you must’ve said before taking the photo. Bets he’s the kinda person you would’ve loved being around when you were young.
The Storyteller looks as though he’s the kind of person that sweeps others up in waves. That he must’ve spotted you and then decided that the two of you would be friends. He of course, wouldn’t have known just how brilliant you actually were and would then find himself thinking about you constantly. Wondering about all the different things in this world that you would manage to complete. And soon, he would end up as your second Muse.
A pretty story, Nozel thinks.
Something befitting of such a man like the Storyteller.
Nozel thinks you brought up the Storyteller once in conversation. You didn’t name him, either by his given name or title, but Nozel feels as though it must’ve been about him regardless. Something about the way you smiled.
You told him about how your life had been when you first fell in love. How it was like holding a bright balloon. How there’s a part of you that wants to hold onto it forever and another that wants to let go and watch it float up into the big open sky above.
Most people, Nozel thinks, struggle with holding onto that balloon. That when finally faced with the choice of letting it go or keeping it they choose to hold on. They hold on tight because to them there will never be something else like this. That every other time they hold a balloon in their hand they will always compare the moment to this. That they’d be disappointed if it doesn't feel the exact same. Doesn't give them the exact same feeling that it had before. And it won’t, of course, no two balloons are ever the same, but sometimes they hold on too tightly. Force the balloon to pop.
You are not everyone.
You choose to let the balloon go.
You choose to let every balloon go, as if waiting for a different outcome.
Perhaps you were finally waiting for a balloon to come back.
Nozel wonders why no one ever did.
The most beautiful photo left up upon the wall isn’t any of the photos you have taken but one of you. The composition of the photo isn’t all too brilliant and the background is plain and white but Nozel thinks that it absolutely encompasses who you were. That it captures you beautifully. It’s exactly how he hopes to remember you when everything else is said and done.
He leaves behind a bouquet of flowers for you beneath the frame.
It was something you always did for him when attending his movie’s premiere. Always gifting him something graciously even though you knew everyone else would too.
Once you’d brought him Dandelions. Nozel had been furious - but you simply laughed in response. Told him that you’d spent all day picking these flowers in the fields because you thought he would’ve liked the message behind them. Laughed because you wanted to show him that it was his wishes coming true.
Nozel didn’t get it back then.
In fact, he still doesn't get it all too much now.
But he was at least grateful for your gift. It wasn’t everyone that would spend a day out in the fields to pick flowers. Even if those flowers happened to be a common weed to the area.
He leaves behind bluebells and lilies for you because he thinks they represent you better than anything else.
Fall in love with someone brazen.
---
Bluebells and Lillies
Even from a young age, Nozel knew that he was special. Important. That he was unlike the other children around him.
His mother herself had whispered it to him before bed and in the mornings when he was called awake. He was special. Different. And he would go on in this world and make a difference. That he would take this world by the reins and steer it into a different direction. A direction that he saw fit and proper.
He was quite like most brilliant children.
Pulling in the attention of those around them as if it were second nature. Garnering the hopes and wishes of those who hope to see them succeed. Gathering crowds of people behind them through sheer existence.
Overindulged which leads to arrogance and pride.
Which leads to loneliness.
Ah, the loneliness of being brilliant. To be placed upon that very same pedestal that separates you from everyone else. To be seen not as you are as a person but a product of everything that the world has wanted you to be and the collapse it so wishes you will have because as much as people love brilliance they also yearn for downfall. It is simply the destructiveness of human nature.
It’s why, despite being the director of a high quality film Nozel sits alone.
People walk by him not as if he is a human but rather a ticking time bomb. Overindulging themselves in his own brilliance only to later run away when the explosion they deem inevitable ultimately happens. To claim themselves a victim because it is simply human nature.
It is simply human nature - so why is it that Nozel just can’t seem to understand you?
At first he had assumed you to be like him. Thrust into the midst of infamy and fame at a young age you clearly must have been a brilliant child. Called one of the greatest artists of their time before even reaching the midpoint of your life with your various collections of photos. Placed upon a pedestal almost as high as his own so how is it that you can sit amongst the others laughing as if you were simply normal?
A foreign concept. A puzzle for him to solve. Perhaps even a chance to see something different in this strange world.
Perhaps the very skill you were gifted in is not your affinity to art but rather your ability to connect to others? To seem so genuine and normal in a world where people are anything but. They must find it captivating and… alluring. Nozel certainly does.
But he also thinks that among all the skills people can acquire, this is perhaps the most dangerous. The one that forces someone to tread more carefully as they traverse this world. That leads to a much bigger fall from grace than anyone else could ever fathom. Certainly not something he can fathom.
His eyes meet with yours from across the room.
You smile sweetly.
He looks away.
Ah, to meet another person like you. It most certainly is possible, just unlikely in a world like his own.
Nozel had been rather skeptical when he was first assigned to work with you. Of course you were basically famous for your skill with a camera but he saw no use for another creative mind for this particular project. Everything, from the breathing of the actors to the time of day would be decided by him. No need for something as silly as someone that specializes for their skill behind a lens.
But, Nozel did have to admit, you were good. Almost as if you intuitively knew what he wanted before he himself did. You needed less direction than anyone else he’d been working with and seemed to have good instincts for the job.
He wonders if you’ve ever been lonely. You certainly don’t seem that way from the outside but it’s impossible to know what kind of person you are beneath the surface. It’s impossible to know exactly who someone else is unless you are that person yourself and even then an argument could be made otherwise.
Nozel’s never been a big fan of human psychology. Seemed more like a waste of time than anything. Why bother to learn that people smile because they’re happy when it’s already something you know? He’s certain there are more delicate and intricate parts of it all but overall he doubts it’s something he’s going to need further on in life.
“Director.”
Nozel looks up, almost surprised to see you taking a seat across from him, “(L/n).”
“What’re you doing here sitting all alone?”
“Working.” Nozel points to the script in his hand that’s been scribbled all over with notes all over in various colours of ink. It looks almost as though he’s written an entire second script from the sheer amount of notes he’s taken down.
You nod, “very admirable.”
“Simply a trick of the trade.”
“That’s surprising.”
“How so?”
“Most would think that someone so disliked in their own profession wouldn’t care to put in so much effort.”
“Meaning?”
“Usually those that work hard are liked.”
Ha! Nozel’s almost as amused by your impudence as he is annoyed. Of course you’d say something like that. You’re young.
Obviously Nozel’s offended. Anyone would be after hearing someone say something like that to their face but he’s more intrigued than anything. You’re lucky, otherwise he most certainly would’ve had you removed from the filming premises. Most people aren’t so blatantly disrespectful though the only reason you can even like that in the first place is because of how much influence you happen to hold coming into this film set.
Quite a bit like how he was when he was your age.
It’s always interesting to see into the minds of others. To see what they think about the current situation of things and to see if they like the way this world has turned out. There is, of course, the chance that you’ll be coy the entire time but at the very least he’ll have an interesting conversation.
Besides, it’s not as if Nozel will lose anything by talking to you about something like this anyways.
Nozel scoffs, “if being a man with standards makes me disliked than I will gladly accept the hate.”
You shrug, “nobody likes a bossy know it all.”
“Agree to disagree.”
“You know,” you say, “it was actually very exciting for me to come here! I’ve been a big fan of your work for a long time.”
Nozel raises a brow curiously, “since when?”
“Back when you were in University. I actually attended the same one as you. Though, you were already a Graduate student while I was in only in my first year.” You explain, “I absolutely loved the piece you wrote about your mother. Very eye opening and thought provoking.”
“What did you find thought provoking?” Asks Nozel, “I personally thought that piece was fairly simple and straight to the point.”
“Throughout the entire piece you’re talking about how someone needs a spark of… brilliance if they hope to live a good life. But the feeling you leave behind in your readers is that simply being born makes you worthy of having a good life.” You smile, “both ideas are very… dangerous. Especially when they lead to such extreme ideals.”
“Extreme ideals are only extreme when extreme circumstances are pushed upon it.”
“I suppose you’ve got me there.”
Nozel chuckles, “you’re surprisingly agreeable.”
“Surprisingly?”
“What can I say? Most people in a position like your own have a tendency to be argumentative.”
“So are you?”
Nozel laughs at that, “yes. Very much so.”
You raise a brow clearly not understanding the joke which only seems to make him laugh more. Eventually you reach into your bag and grab a newspaper article from your bag. The paper looks fairly new, from what Nozel can tell. Another surprising thing. It’s rare to see someone your age (much less someone at all) reading the newspaper. Online articles have almost entirely taken over in this day and age.
Personally Nozel isn’t all to big on the news. Sure, there’s plenty of interesting stuff that can be learned from the news but most of it is just depressing things or hand picked crazy headlines meant to draw attention.
He’s never been all too big on gossip either. Talking about other people in such a crude sense never looks good on your own character. Makes you seem shallow and indulgent in the lives of others in both a creepy and uncomfortable manner. Plus, Nozel would much rather focus his attention on his work. At least there he’s able to accomplish something actually worth talking about.
“What’s that?” Nozel points to the newspaper.
You look up and smile teasingly, “a newspaper.”
Nozel rolls his eyes, “I knew that much. I meant what’re you reading about.”
“Perhaps you should have stated that in the first place.”
“Come on.”
You laugh, smiling fondly in a way that Nozel is unfamiliar with, “just an article on a Detective back in the Leaf City.”
“Leaf City?”
“I got the chance to meet the detective a few years back. He’s a surprisingly nice man. It’s nice to hear of all the things he’s accomplished since.”
“The Detective.” Nozel test the familiar title. He remembers having heard it before in relation to but can’t name when or where. Perhaps it had something to do with the Muses? He isn’t all too sure.
“Has anyone told you you’re much too pretty to be someone behind the lens.” You ask, your voice teasing as you lean forward.
His heart flutters.
Nozel isn’t too sure if you’re doing this on purpose or not.
It’s annoying.
In his time as a Director there have been countless women that have tried to seduce him before. From beautiful actresses to young hopefuls. He was no stranger to such an attempt so why did his heart flutter so?
Ah, Nozel thinks, to be young and so unaware of the feelings of others.
To be able to say such words that reach so deeply into another’s soul without a second thought. To be able to jump head first into your feelings. To be in a position where you only have to think about yourself; your feelings; and your wants.
Nozel knows, perhaps better than anyone, of how reckless the youth can be with an expression of their feelings.
Presently, he is by no means a young man (he’s a middle aged man). But he, himself, had lived a vast majority of his youth pushing away his younger siblings. Pushing them out of harm's way in hopes of further preserving their life. It’s a shame then that he was unable to see all the pain he had put them through because of his own wants and needs.
He, in his youth, had been so unaware of the feelings of others.
But such is the privilege of being young. Such is the leniency of being youthful.
Adults, like himself, on the other hand, are not privy to such expressions of emotion. Instead they are called irrational and senseless. Careless and irresponsible. Titles and descriptions Nozel thinks he might one day place on someone like you.
You leaned over on the desk, resting your head on your arms and your arms on the table, looking up at Nozel with a warm and dreamy look, “it’s Romantic, isn’t?”
“What?” Nozel let out a scoff like laugh, “being a bossy know it all is Romantic?”
“No. Even people like me don’t think being ‘a man with standards’ is Romantic.” You laugh, “being good at something is Romantic. Even if people find you snobby, arrogant, narcissistic and rude you will still be liked and admired simply on the basis that you are excellent at something. Oh, and that you’re attractive.”
“And is that why you like me?”
“No. I like you in spite of your brilliance.”
“So what, it’s my bad traits you're attracted to?”
“It’s you. Simply as you are.”
Ah, Nozel thinks, to be young and so unaware of the feelings of others.
Fall in love with someone that’s filled with youth.

Still thinking about that Tik Toker that read Louis in the most uncharitable way possible. Truely she lost me when she said Paul killed himself because of Louis. Suicide doesn't work that way. But even narratively Louis behaviour is just one part of what Paul has experienced, because Paul was put in a facility. And Louis said he came out worse than when he went in. I believe that because any expert will tell you that the methods used to treat mental illnesses back then were aweful. Even now we're still learning a lot. And Louis doesn't have to be the perfect beacon of emotional balance to love Paul and Paul doesn't need him to be that to understand that he is loved. Like there is a reason why Pauls last words were I love you. There is a reason in the narrative, which is to set up his skepticism of his own happiness, but also obviously to show that his qualms where not with Louis. I mean this is fiction but that's a yikes ass take. The issues they had with each other where normal issues. The knife pulling was a bit much, but siblings get into heated discussions and sometimes those get physical. Not condoning it. I just truely don't believe that Louis is at fault for Pauls suicide.
And if this was just to take the heat of of Lestat. There is actual narrative motive. Louis has that fear. That why it makes sense for us as the viewers to suspect Lestat because Louis is telling the story. And also Lestat literally read Pauls mind and used his powers on Paul. He also killed Miss Lilly who was also a form of comfort for Louis. Basically isolating him. If that was intended by Lestat is up to interpretation but we know that it happened and that that's how Louis was turned as he was.
The whole video was just full of Louis being at fault for everything. Basically sounding like Mama duLac came to life.
Even saying the trial was Louis fault because why did he think he got away with it. And Louis didn't start out thinking that. He thought they were going to die. He wanted to leave, but Claudia wanted to stay. So he stayed with her. He was almost killed, but then the leader of the coven said no I'm not gonna kill you lets date. And instead of just doing the trial immediately they just kept on keeping. Of course he thinks if they were gonna do it they would have done it.
Louis is deeply flawed. Yeah he's responsible for a lot of his own misery and has treated those close to him terribly, but he's also been treated terribly and kept in the dark about a lot of shit that he would not have cosigned if he knew the truth. To act like everything was his fault is so uncharitable that my eyes popped out for a moment.
I had a much longer response to the actual post but it got lost while I was switching apps. So yeah. That was more than just Louis hate that was like they despise Louis. I would kill that man with my own hands if were real, but there isn't much to despise him for if you're watching the show, because he's not worse than any other character on the show. Aside from personal taste of course.

Jerk Rivals = Just young boys with bad/no family lives
I'll be covering the following "Jerk" Rivals -Blue Oak -Silver -Gideon -Bede -Arven (at first)
Secondly, why do you think they are jerks? What is the one thing all 5 have in common? Shitty or no families. Thirdly I am not covering Carmine since she's more of an "I don't want my home to become a tourist destination," kind of jerk
Let's get into this Blue: In the games (not counting let's go) Oak shows he likes Red more then Blue. When the Professor take you to the lab and Blue say he was sick of waiting, Oak makes it know he forgot Blue was even waiting for him and allowed Red to pick first.
In FR/LG if you lose to Blue, Oak says it's disappointing that Blue won. How much do you think it hurt to hear your own grandfather put you down for winning your first every battle?
When you become champion after beating Blue, Oak tells his grandson how disappointed he is in Blue and that he doesn't love his Pokémon which is why you win. It doesn't matter that Blue worked as hard as we did to reach the same point.
Silver: Having Giovanni abandon him when he was only 7/8 years old had to be hard on Silver. More so when he was raised to only see Pokémon as tools. Having to unlearn all of them while he's still a child might have been easy, but it could have could still have been a hard lesson to learn.
Gideon: His father went missing which sent his mother insane causing her to be obsessive of both him and his sister Lillie.
Bede: A orphan boy who was take on by Rose, only to be thrown away after one big mistake. Who knows how long he was orphaned for or if he saw his parents die.
Arven: Having one parent be a workaholic and the other get up and leave while he was still young basically left him with no family. Then to have the workaholic parent be killed (Arven most likely saw it) and having his best friend almost killed would make him hostile to anyone who has Maridon/Karidon
So all in all, I don't think they wanted to be jerks. They just had shit home lives and lashing out is all they knew till they could improve.
(I have missed something Gideon and Bede so if I have let me know)

So, i'm currently experiencing artblock and have been kinda busy with college, and since I've seen a lot of twdg AUs lately, I'd love to share some headcanons for my Tenn lives! AU :)
Note: Most of this AU follows the original plot and includes some scrapped content from The Final Season (Yes, Tenn was supposed to live)
(This time, I'll only focus on Violentine's route since I chose Violet, but I can make a Clouis version later)
And feel free to ask if you would like to know more :)
• If Clem chose to trust AJ, he won't shot Tenn like he actually does in the game
• During the bridge scene, Tennessee doesn't die. Neither does Louis or Violet (except if Clem didn't trust AJ, ofc)
• Instead, AJ purposely shoots Louis/Violet in their right shoulder so the bullet could hit a walker behind them, saving their lifes.
• After being shot, Violet reacts immediately. She throws Tenn across the bridge so he can reach safely to the other side, while AJ keeps shooting at the walkers behind her
• Then, she jumps too. She barely makes it to the other side, so Clem rushes to help her climb up
• Once they are all together, the four friends hug each other thigly, tears streaming down their faces while Minerva keeps screaming in anger and pain. They are all hurting, bleeding, scared
• But safe
• And most important: alive
• Violet was bleeding, and so was Clementine. Tenn, in the other hand, was completely in shock
• AJ tried to make him react. The gunshots caught the attention of a large horde in the woods, and this time, they were almost behind them. They needed to go, and fast
• Just like in the original game, they got separated by the fence. Violet climbed up first since she was bleeding the most. Once they were surrounded by the herd, Clem insisted that she needed to go
• Violet insisted, but she could barely stay on her feet. She needed to go back to Ericson and find help as soon as possible
• So Clementine stayed with the kids
• When they tried to climb up the rocks, Tenn didn't move
• AJ went first, so he could shoot at the herd from above while Clementine and Tenn followed his way. However, Tenn was still in shock, and no matter how hard Clementine and AJ insisted or how desesperate they were, he didn't move or say a word
• When the walkers were almost touching their backs, Clementine pushed Tenn and forced him to climb as fast as he could. Once he made it to the top, Clementine began to climb up as well, but her leg got caught by a walker and we know what happened then
• She got bitten
• After realizing what had just happened, AJ started crying
• He was devasted, but also furious
• He knew Clem was gonna die
• But not because of bad luck or an accident
• He knew it was Tenn's fault
• So, if Clem stopped AJ from shooting Lilly, AJ won't react this time. They kept moving forward until they make it to the barn. But once they got surrounded by the walkers, Tenn will desperately run into the woods to escape, leaving Clementine and AJ behind
• Just like in the original game, AJ found him a few weeks later wandering by the river
• But sadly, it was too late. He had already turned
• On the other hand, if AJ shot Lilly, he slaps Tenn. Even though he was furious and wanted to kill him right there, Tenn immediately reacts after the hit and apologize for what happened
He's still in shock after witnessing his sister literally died in fron of his eyes
• Just a few weeks after finding out she wasn't actually death like Marlon and Brody made him believe
• One year mourning over a living person
• Even though she wasn't the same Minerva he knew and loved
• When they walked into the woods and got surrounded, Tenn insisted on going to Ericson and find some help
• Clementine didn't feel right about this idea, but before she could even respond, Tenn was already running towards the school
• Or at least, he tried
• He got lost. He was so shocked and disoriented that he didn't recognize the way back home. He wandered in the woods until James found him
• But his effort wasn’t in vain. Tenn dropped one of his crayons while running, so Ruby and Aasim could follow the trail towards the barn and find Clementine before it was too late
• Yes, AJ carried her on a wheelbarrow, but he's only 5 so I don't think he got too far away
• Tenn was so ashamed and felt so sorry for what happened that he didn't want to go back to Ericson or face AJ again. He genuinely thought Clementine was dead because of him, and he couldn't bare with that guilt
• James took care of him for the next weeks. At Ericson, everyone thought Tenn was dead and stopped looking after a few days
• Except for Violet. She kept looking every single day
• She was so mad at Clementine she didn't even speak to her after she woke up. She was relieved because her girlfriend was alive, of course, but she was also grieving the kid she raised for almost eight years
• She didn't speak to AJ either. He missed her, so much
• AJ found Tenn wandering by the river, just like in the original game. Tenn explained him what happened and that he lived with James in the woods for a few weeks, because he was not ready to face him after putting their lives at risk and almost killing Clem
• AJ was relieved. Now, he knew Tenn was alive, and James was also okay
• He forgave him and went back to Ericson together
• After all, Clem was alive
• And they both were best friends. But not like Clem, cause she was old.
• Like real best friends
• Cause they were only kids
• They didn't deserved to die just because they "weren't made for that world"

18. Who is your least favorite OC?
ouhhgggh ok this one is hard bc . if i dont like an oc they dont become an oc dkfjgndkf;; so on some level i like all of them a lil too much t call em a least favorite.. orz.. at best i just kinda cycle em around until they become something else i Do like. if i had to pick Least Liked th closest ihave is This Motherfucker solely bc hes giving me a hard time re: writing >:// (he shrimply hasnt had th time to Be yet.)
Tumblr media
7. What things in real life make you think of an OC?
so so many things but most frequently. i have this lotion ive been using lately that smells really nice but its labelled Radiant Cocoa and every time i pass by it i just have to go. :] hehe.
2. Who was the first OC you made?
OHH OK SO. NOT A PM OC (obvi) BUT. when i was little my favorite pkmn ever was riolu, to like. an Absurd amount. so when i was little i would always imagine little stories around a riolu doing things whenever i went to bed; called her The World's Cleverest Riolu, and it became this super long Thing that i loved to death. it kinda grew n morphed over time but i still love her dearly. her name is aura she makes me happy :]
Tumblr media
shes significantly chilled out and is now just kinda baby. shes been through a lot of iterations but th core stays th same. ^_^ though she might be getting another iteration soon, imnot quite sure though.. /shrugs
25. Are there any two characters that are like a dynamic duo/group?
lilli and inigo!!! i havent talked abt them very much bc theyre still in the exposition process but mannnnn. MANNNNN. augh. i dont know if id define them as a Dynamic Duo but they sure are Two Of Them and you Should Not Separate Them they will get SEPARATION ANXIETY.... a lot of the cast has it, but they are the very peak of If Only They Met When They Were Kids.
Tumblr media
by all means they should be enabling each other into being worse (and maybe they kind of are) but they also happen to be fixing each other inadvertently bc ":( wait if i do that itll make them sad nooooo". they r like the glass cannons of character dynamics. theyre trying their best.
. also because they mean the world to me and ill cry if i dont talk about them they COUNT in my HEART nobody look at me ok. these dorkasses.
Tumblr media
YES theyre my silly swap au guys YES ive pretty much shaken them around till theyre new characters dont LOOK at me ok. everything 2 me. literally their entire thing is "im super not supposed to be a relevant character i Cannot fucking handle this" mixed with "this death flag is starting to look like a death quilt" mixed with "why are you bothering me i dont like you." mixed with "if you die im going to fucking kill you."
a bunch of stupid motherfuckers miraculously avoiding death solely because they keep tugging each other along because youre not letting me deal with this shit alone fucking get it together. trainwrecks, the lot of them. haunted me for like a fucking year straight. No I Still Havent Expanded On The Amount Of Bullshit They Have Going On bc im SHY. if yall KNEW. grabs and SHAKES U ALL

Would love to hear u talk more about Clem and Minnie mirroring one another if u haven’t already 🦅
i have Not >:) cracks knuckles
talking about minnie can be hard since she Really only exists in eps 3 and 4. eps 1 and 2 keep the twins pretty mysterious we only learn a few things about them. i think the most important thing we know about them tho is that they (or at least minnie) provided a sense of relief for the ericson kids. tenn saying how minnie would sing them "dont be afraid" when they were feeling scared. i think its safe to assume she wrote the song Specifically to have a way to make the other kids feel better when things were rough
when the twins die the kids lose this emotional support and we can tell its been hard on all of them (some more than others). but then in comes clementine. our girl whos been carrying the "light in the darkness" motif since season 1. and although she got that shit a little dirty in seasons 2 and 3 (ava going off in s3 about how clem and aj are light and hope and shit so we're still supposed to see it (and recognize that clem has become so Dark in s3 without aj)), she got her light back when she got aj back and she'll die protecting him
clem (and aj) fall very quickly into the hole the twins left. now its clem who makes them feel safe. first with finding them food then protecting them against the raiders ("youre our savior clem" "we were more scared than we let on when you met us. you made that go away"). its not an accident theyre put up in the twins room. and with the way violet grabs the frame and looks at it sadly we can even assume clem sleeps in minnies old bed (also the old torn down paintings seem to only be on ajs side of the room and hes got his whole "i wanna be an artist too" thing going on). clem has unintentionally taken on minnies old role of making the kids feel safe and reassured
then we finally meet minnie. and based on how the others described her there is definitely a piece of herself that shes lost (that shes killed). her light is gone now. and although her motivations have been warped, they remain the same. i do genuinely believe she is still trying to protect the ericson kids and do whats best for them, but just in the only way she thinks she can to stop more people from dying. she might even think the pros of living with the delta are worth the cons. clementine is the one teaching them to fight back but minnie knows from experience that fighting back just gets you killed, so she feels like if she can just stop clementine then everything will be fine ("youre the FUCKING problem here" "i wont let you get them all killed" and she does seem genuinely concerned if clem and vi are fighting in the cell. and obviously we know she doesnt want anything to happen to tenn). both minnie and clem want to protect the ericson kids they just have conflicting opinions about which is the right way to do it. but minnie Does show her ass when she ends her "if you just do what they say you can live" speech with "you can be rewarded just like i am" 👀 oh girl... she didnt just give up she gave in. killing sophie was her breaking point and i really wish we knew more about how that scene went down outside of lillys dramatic retelling i would like to see it objectively please. but based on the way lilly tells it, minnie (im sure begrudgingly) accepted her place at the delta before it even came to that, and was probably just pulled along by sophie when she tried to escape. which is probably why (im assuming) lilly gave her the choice to kill sophie to stay with the delta (her New family), and she did... she kills a piece of herself when she does this (only compounded by the twin imagery), and i think her seeing clem fight back reminds her of sophie and brings all those feelings to the surface. and if she can just kill clem everything will be ok, cuz it worked last time....
minnie singing "dont be afraid" when attacking them on the bridge. a song that once brought them peace now being used to herald death. but since she approaches already singing it she was probably singing it to soothe herself as she succumbs to her bite, walking away from the wreckage she blames on clem, her delta family dead (she Did care about them in a fucked up way), using a herd of walkers against them the same way clem used a herd of walkers to attack the boat. all minnie cares about at this point is finding tenn, and she does, and shes gonna take him with her. just like clem looking for aj, finding him, and taking him. but where clem would die to protect aj, minnie wants to kill tenn to take him "home" with her. add to this ajs feelings about ending up alone without clem and wanting to be walkers together if it came to it. this is why tenn dying on the bridge feels narratively fulfilling to me even tho i hate it 😭 tenn wants to be with minnie (and sophie and their parents) and death doesnt scare him. it kinda comforts him. him and minnie dying together here is like the dark fate clem and aj barely avoid
and then vi fitting into this as she became tenns caretaker after the twins left. she also wants whats best for him so her and minerva fighting at the end for tenn is interesting. especially since violet (and louis but he wasnt tenns caretaker the way vi was) can die throwing him over the gap. i like the layers violet adds to being in the bridge scene, and it makes it even more sad when she cant protect him because thats all shes been trying to do since before clem and aj even showed up. plus aj shooting tenn puts violet in a similar position to louis in regards to marlons death
i really love the ways violets route adds to all the minnie and tenn stuff. and the way we can see clems influence change her. how a saved violet is ready to fight with clem but a kidnapped violet believes in minnies goals and thinks giving up is the safest plan for everyone. because regardless if you save her or not violet ALSO wants to keep the ericson kids safe and just doesnt know the best way to do it. clem encourages violet to step up and minnie encourages violet to give up (warping her character growth which is why i cant Not save her 😭 and the betrayal of it all). using violet as a common denominator is another way to differentiate between clem and minnie. then throw the romance on top of that.... you can see why i get a little...Sillay.. this is ALSO why i dont like vinerva in any romantic capacity post the events of ep3 and why i love seeing vi with clem. its what they each encourage in her. minnies weakness, clems strength.... why seeing vi and minnie fight clem makes me want to cry but seeing clem and vi fight minnie makes me jump off the walls LETS GOOO
and i havent even talked about lilly yet.... how if lee took lilly up on her offer in S1 about stealing the RV together clem couldve ended up in her custody.... i definitely believe clem looks at minnie and sees some broken scared part of herself in there. she is Fiercely Loyal and would do anything for her family so if she was raised (or broken) in that environment (and it seems very "ends justify the means" with the delta as it sounds like its actually pretty good over there if you can look past the intimidation and torture and kidnapping) i could definitely see her being the one standing behind lilly in some other universe. its what lilly still tries to do with her but its too late (and so lilly tries it with aj instead which is still a way to get to clem). but clems grown now and shes been making her own choices for a long time. shes already been through this with the new frontier (and hell even with carver at howes). she'd die before she gave in. and minnie made the choice to kill her sister to save herself
even with the little info we actually have on minnie she still works pretty well as a foil to clem. this is why i find it easier to talk about minnie when comparing her to clem like i feel like its her main purpose. i feel like theres still more i could say its just eluding me. its not a coincidence that minnie almost takes clem down with her in the end. why shes the reason clems able to get bit. minnie blames clem for her own demise and she's gonna get in one last fuck you. and minnies fate is one clem is desperately trying to avoid. kinda 👀 to be taken down by your narrative foil

Okay then! Moving onto your ideas for a fix-it time travel style fic for TWDG, do you have any concrete ideas so far of what you'd want to do with it? Who'd be going back in time, how drastically things would change, plot points, that sort of thing? If you don't mind sharing of course, I'd understand if a lot of that would be spoilers should you decide to actually write it.
Would you believe I’ve spent the better part of last night thinking of this very fic idea? I couldn’t land on WHO the heck would I send back.
I’d send them back as the age they were during that time, so Clem going back to S1 from S4 would be 8-years-old all over again but with the mind and knowledge of 16/17-year-old Clem.
Clementine would be an obvious choice, right? As a character from the start to finish, she could easily make the most change. Depending on what point she travels back from in the series, she could very well change a lot of things. For starts, Clem from any season after S1 could:
Not talk to the stranger over the walkie.
Knowing her folks are dead, and probably want to avoid Savannah all together.
Be aware about the St. John’s, not trust them and campaign for them not to go. But then comes the fact that she’s a child and possibly the only person who would take her seriously would be Lee. So that could be something she might not be able to fully change.
If she doesn’t or can’t stop the event of EP2, then there could be a chance that she can intervene on Ben’s deal with the bandits. She would have to keep an eye on him specific pay attention to him whenever he leaves the inn or is on watch, which she’ll have to do w/o raising any attention.
If she can do that, and convince Ben to listen to her, even if she’s just a kid, they might be able to warn the group and get out of dodge before the bandit’s raid begins, so they could leave for the road a few days early.
If that happens, Lilly’s meltdown might not happen. If Larry died during EP2, then she’d still be depressed and in mourning of course, but not paranoid since there’s not a conspiracy going around the group about betrayal. Meaning Carley/Doug might not get headshot.
This also means Katjaa & Duck survive for now, and thus Kenny doesn’t have his complete character arc in S2 if his whole family is alive, since that loss played a huge part in his arc.
That also means that Lilly might stick around longer, and we may not get a Delta!Lilly.
They still take the train, as Clem can’t do anything about the train being in the way.
But then Clem realizes the train rolls right through Savannah, and there’s no avoid it anymore.
But Clem knew not to listen to the Stranger, so her sneaking away to meet him only to be kidnapped possibly won’t happen.
Meaning… We don’t lose Lee, which would’ve been Number 1 on Clem’s list of things to fix.
If that happens, the group has no reason to leave the house, meaning Vernon and the cancer group can’t get the boat.
Speaking of the boat… it’s WAY too small for their group.
Lee, Clem, Kenny, Katjaa, Duck, Chuck (since our group is big, I doubt they’d let him die the way he did), Lilly, Carley/Doug, Ben, Christa & Omid? That’s 11 people on this boat meant for at most like… 4 or 5.
Cue the talks of changing their plans. And much to Kenny’s chagrin, Katjaa agrees.
The group decide to put a pin in the boat plan and mull over their next move. This is where Clem chimes in and says they should head for the country, and get out of the city ASAP.
At this point, Lee would be way more trusting of Clem’s intuition and agree, so would Christa. Katjaa, Lilly, Doug/Carley, Ben would agree with the majority, and Omid would pick whatever he thought was best for Christa and their unborn baby.
They gather their bearings and plan their route out of Savannah over the night. The next day they discover the boat’s gone. So, Kenny really has no choice but to agree with their plan.
I feel like once the group is out of Savannah, and Clem has time for, well, downtime, she’ll want to think about how she’ll get back the other important people in her life like AJ, Javi and his family, and the Ericsons kids (especially if she romanced Louis or Violet). She wants to see them again, albeit not in the same circumstances as before.
On the other hand, is would I send back Lee? Another start to finish character (at least for S1), Sending Lee back from the end of EP5, Lee could make changes as well, his only hold up would be protecting Clementine even more since she really is 8-years-old:
He’d probably train her earlier, like between EP1 and EP2.
EP2 is the hardest to change, because it’s a group choice. It would probably go down similar to that deleted scene of them voting, where Lee would vote against going but be out voted by everyone else.
He doesn’t trust the St. John’s in the slightest, and when he goes back with Mark to check the perimeter, he tells him keep his guard up and watch the trees. Since Mark’s a bit more attentive, Mark gets grazed by the arrow instead of full impaled, and the scene plays out the same.
They make it back and Mark’s still a bit injured but not remotely as bad as before, so he’s able to attended dinner without having to go through Brenda’s, ahem, “check-up”.
So, who’s for dinner then?
Mr. Parker! Mmm, barbequed band teacher-
Let’s for back a bit, during the hunt with Lee, Mark & Kenny. They find Ben, Travis & Mr. Parker.
They don’t cut him out in time, but this time Lee doesn’t try to hack his leg off, remembering last time how he still bled out and died by time they made it back.
Lee instead tells Mark and Kenny to grab the boys and go. Before they can protest, the walkers are coming in, not many, but enough.
Travis makes a go at Mark’s rifle, but Mark shoots him in the leg. So now they have to carry him back.
So, Ben and Travis live! And Mr. Parker… for now.
Hypothetically, let’s say the dairy boys got to Mr. P before the walkers did.
So, he’s for dinner.
Dinner scene plays out the same, but this time Parker takes Mark’s place.
The Larry in the locker moment plays out differently. Since Mark is there, he’d help Lilly revive Larry.
Unfortunately, leaving Lee to argue with Kenny about not killing Larry. He’s trying to prevent as many unnecessary deaths as possible.
I believe Kenny and Lee would actually tussle over this, but Kenny would lose.
And by some miracle, Larry would win. As in he’d live.
Rewinding to where Lee was investigating the farmhouse, in the cabinet he found the morphine and wire in, he’d also find nitroglycerin pills. Lee kept them on the chance the moment in the locker happened.
Rest of the scene plays out the same until they make it out the locker.
Lee meets Carley/Doug, Ben & Travis outside the barn.
Since Mark’s arm is still a bit injured, Lilly shoots Andy.
Fight goes the same. Lee spares Andy and leaves him to his fate.
Interesting change, when it comes to the Stranger’s car, Lee purposely tries to distract the group from hearing the car.
Unfortunately, Mark sees it.
Lee is adamant about not taking from it, and doesn’t give Kenny the keys.
This almost prompts another Kenny v. Lee fight, until Larry steps in and argues they need it since the dairy was an absolute bust.
Lee uses Clementine’s argument that it’s more than likely someone’s car, and they might not be far. Since he knows it’s the strangers, he’d mention it probably belonged to a family.
A dreaded vote, and it’s Lee, Clem and surprisingly Lilly vs. Kenny, Katjaa, Travis, Carley/Doug, Mark and Larry.
Outvoted, Larry snatched the keys from Lee and they pillage the car. Doug/Carley comes up to Lee with batteries for Clem’s walkie, but Lee takes them instead, saying they might need them for something important.
EP2-3, Lee is aware that at this point the bandits are going to attack the inn because of Ben’s deal. So, Lee decided to nip the bud and go to Ben directly. He’d say something along the lines of “Don’t talk anyone in the woods, especially bandits who claim to have his friend.”
Sprinkle in a little, “Or else” because Lee’s DEAD serious on nothing that happened in EP3 happening twice. And Lee’s threat worked…
For Ben, at least. Because the difference between this time and last was Ben’s deal with the bandits.
He didn’t account for Travis being made the same deal.
So, color Lee terrified when Lilly comes to Lee about missing supplies.
He didn’t think she’d be paranoid, now that her dad was still alive.
He knew everywhere to check by the back of his hand, the signaling system, the chalk, all of it.
First, he trucked it over to Ben and immediately called him off the RV. Ben climbs down and Lee lays into him (well, where only he and Ben could hear) and accuses him of being guilty.
Ben’s confused more than defensive, which throws Lee off. Ben asks is it about what he warned him about a week ago, and says he hasn’t seen or talked to anyone outside the inn after he warned him about the bandits, and is generally confused as to what Lee’s blaming him for.
Lee apologizes and leaves. He checks the grate and what’s in it. Meds, of course.
He brings it to Lilly. The motel gets held hostage, but this is different; when they get held hostage, Mark taps on the window Lilly would exit from and warm them before they eventually hear for themselves.
While Lilly tells Lee to stall them, Larry does something stupid. Stubborn as an idiot, he refuses to be held up like he just was a week ago and goes for one of the bandit’s guns, getting shot in the process, causing all hell to break loose.
Lilly leaves her vantage point and goes to get Larry while Mark takes her place, the group splits up like they did before.
Lilly manages to pull Larry behind cover and tries to save him, so Mark has to deal with the bandits and keeping enemies off of her while she’s distracted.
The fending off goes the same, each group gets inside the RV, Duck is still bitten.
Lilly has to leave Larry, so now freshly mourning, and losing the inn, Lee knows all hells about to break loose.
Lilly pins it on Carley if she’s there, or Ben if Doug’s there.
Lee would defend Ben, saying he thinks it was someone else, and for the first time asks Travis.
Travis gets immediately defensive, just as Ben did before. Lee knows he did it.
But Carley/Doug would tell Lee to lay off him. Lilly would believe Lee’s claim that it was Travis since he’s helped her before.
Travis pins it on Carley/Doug.
Ben defends Travis, getting hi back under the microscope.
RV hits a walker, they’ve got to stop. Everyone exits.
Lilly shoots Travis in the head.
Lee knew it was Travis. But even so, the act alone caused the group to vote to leave her behind.
Katjaa calls Lee up front and tell him Duck’s bit.
Lee is angry that he’s failing to stave people this time around.
The train scene goes the same, they meet Chuck, Duck and Katjaa die, but instead of training Clem, since he already trained her a bit more and cut her hair, he decides he should tell Clem the new plan for Savannah.
Chuck compliments Lee on teaching the girl to survive.
He tells her that even though Kenny’s deadest on finding a boat, he thinks their best bet is getting out of the city ASAP and making it to the countryside.
Clem wants to find her parents, but Lee tries to gently tell her that they’ve been gone for so long that the chances of them being there or alive are slim to none.
Clem hates that answer.
“You can’t tell me what to do.”
“Clem—”
“I don’t want to talk about it anymore.”
Well, at least that radio won’t be a problem.
They meet Christa and Omid. The next morning, Lee is horrified to hear Clem’s radio go off.
She’d been talking to him again.
Again.
Kenny says he thought the thing was broken, to which Carley/Doug will admit they gave her batteries for it when she’d asked.
Without a second thought, Lee angrily chucked the radio out the train. He’d be damned if that bastard gets his hands on Clementine again.
The they get to Savannah. Molly tolls the bell, they make a break for it. Ben runs from Clem, Chuck saves her and gets split from the group.
They get to the house. And get inside, Doug/Carley keeps watch. Everything plays out the same. Clem goes to Crawford with them. Carley/Doug actually gets killed instead of Brie, however.
Lee saves Ben at the bell tower.
Since Ben isn’t guilty, Kenny has no ill will toward Ben, but also threatens that if he leaves Clem like that again he and Lee will tag team his ass. Ben gets the message quick.
Vernon still offers to take Clem. Lee knew it was coming but isn’t as mad as he was at the suggestion to give away his adoptive daughter. He still declines.
I should note that Clem has definitely notice her walkie’s missing, but Lee says she might’ve accidentally dropped it while they were one the train. She’s really sad about this, and a bit anxious.
Clem asks Lee if they’re going to get on the boat with Kenny. Lee says they might. Due to him trashing the walkie, cutting off all contact with the Stranger, they may be able to all get on the boat; He, Clem, Kenny, Christa, Omid and Ben.
Clem asks if they’ll have time to look for her parents, Lee tells her what he said on the train.
She cries and leaves the room.
Since the group is downstairs, Lee lets Clem have her space. She’s probably really upset with him.
He tries not to fall asleep, but dozes off for a bit.
Lee jolts awake when he realizes. He looks around and doesn’t see Clem near him before remembering she’s downstairs.
He turns and looks out the window, expecting to see Kenny working on the boat.
Instead, his blood runs cold as he sees Clementine, standing outside the fence, talking to someone beside a car.
A station wagon.
A station wagon that looked horribly identical to the one from the woods.
From the one that was parked in front of The Marsh House.
He could’ve sworn his heart stopped beating for a minute as she willfully climbed inside the backseat.
Lee booked it downstairs, nearly falling as he slammed through the backdoor as the car peeled off down the street. Lee runs out the back yard but is too late.
And that’s all I have for now! I spent a minuuuute conjuring this all up! Keep in mind, this is all a rough idea of what I could try, not definitive!

1906-1908

The next two years of the Walshes’ lives went by quickly. Giselle, turning six, started school that autumn. It felt odd that none of her siblings were there with her. If Byron had not skipped three years of school, they could have walked together to and from the schoolhouse. Instead, because Rebecca was so terrified she’d get sick, she’d walk her daughter every day to school. After a while, it was almost embarrassing. It was a ten minute walk. Giselle didn’t think she’d fall over and die in those very short ten minutes.
Her least favorite of school when she first started was recess. Everyone else got to go outside and play. Giselle couldn’t. Giselle wasn’t allowed. The first few months of school were spent staring out the classroom window, watching her classmates play outside, both upset and envious of being able to play. It was lonely, and even though she’d been there for months, she still didn’t have friends.
Miss Wilson realized how lonely she was, and during lunch and recess, she’d bring cards and books so Giselle would have something to do. The little girl was grateful for her teacher, and she realized that she had to make something out of it, and what wasn’t a better way to practice her embroidery while at school?
Even when she wasn’t at school, Giselle spent most of her time in her room which had once been the nursery, sitting in the little rocking chair, stitching foral patterns on pieces of fabric.

Edeline found friendship like no other at finishing school. Her roommate Lillie Hayward quickly became her best friend, and when they befriended Clare Hamilton, who roomed across from them, the trio was destined to be best friends, doing everything together, much to the annoyance of their teachers.
But Edeline had a goal in the back of her mind. She was going to be a doctor, and she would do anything to achieve it, meaning when she wasn’t in the classroom or with her friends, Edeline spent her free time in the library studying any biology or medical book they had. Lillie and Clare teased her, but they were excited that their friend be would a doctor. It was always good to have a doctor friend.

Byron still read as much as he could and just to see if he could, he managed to teach himself Latin, exclusively from the book kept at Willow Creek College library. Needless to say, when he began Latin the next year, the Latin teacher was shocked by his fluency, transferring him to the Greek class instead.
And such as time does, Byron finally turned 13, meaning that fall, he would stop rooming with his brother Alexander and have someone his age, even if they weren’t in the same year. He felt the same at first, other than a major growth spurt and a newfound passion for taking afternoon naps.
Becoming a teenager opened his eyes to a lot of things he didn’t notice before, the most important thing being his and Reggie’s friendship.
Tumblr media
Being at a boarding school all year meant they only saw each other at Christmas time and during the summer. Since Reggie had always struggled with his spelling and handwriting, he rarely sent letters, so normally it was just Byron with updates on their life. Both were now spending more time with those who were in the same social class as them. He hated the idea of class causing the end of their friendship, but he knew deep down that it wasn’t something to be ignored, especially while he was off getting an education and Reggie working on his family’s farm, no longer in school now that he was over 13.

That fall of 1908, Byron met his new roommate, Joel Mungrove, and the pair instantly became friends. They liked the same books and music and talked for hours about poems, stories, and other things that had usually annoyed Alexander whenever Byron had tried to bring it up. Joel was handsome and had an infectious smile that always brightened Byron’s day when he saw him, and soon it was like the duo had known each other for their whole life, not just the school year.

Alexander found Willow Creek difficult at times, but he probably should have spent more time studying than slacking off with friends or writing letters to Edith. Edith was such a kind, funny, and beautiful girl, and the more he wrote to her, the more he envisioned a future: him and Edith taking care of his parents while he was a very successful lawyer. Well… he still had to tell her that he was in love with her.
So summer of 1908, two days after Alexander returned from school, he asked Edith to meet him by the pond where they had first spoken to one another.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Alexander?” Edith called.
Alexander turned and smiled. “Hello.”
She grinned back. “When did you arrive home?”
“Two days ago. I wrote to you the moment I arrived, but Mama insisted we spend family time before I see friends.”
“Friends?” She mused, walking over and holding his hand. “Are we just friends?”
His heart fluttered, and he tried not to blush. “No, of course not.” He swallowed. “Do you remember what I said in my letter before last?”
Edith nodded. “You said you more than fancied me. You said you loved me. Did you truly mean it?”
“I did. I do. I do love you. I love you very much.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She blushed and turned to face him, clutching the sides of his arms. Her grip was firm but soft, and Alexander thought he’d die on the spot, her touching him. “I love you too,” she whispered.
His heart leaped with joy, and never before had he been so happy to hear such words. He looked into her bright eyes, shining like the sun, and he thought he’d never seen something more beautiful. Involuntarily, he leaned forward until his breath was upon hers. He didn’t know what he was doing, only a flurry of such strong emotions running through like a river, and he let his body do what his heart desired.
Edith stroked his cheek gently before craning her neck and pressing her lips against his.
Tumblr media
Alexander nearly moaned at the touch of her lips against his. They parted briefly before he kissed her passionately, hugging her sides as she wrapped her arms around his neck. This was heaven, he thought. This was pure joy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, after what seemed like only seconds and hours at the same time, Edith broke their kiss and giggled, resting her head against his cheek, still clutching his arms. Alexander gathered her into his arms, and they both closed their eyes, staying still for quite some time.

Xander
The pain was excruciating. Breathing was growing increasingly more difficult.
This is it. He thinks to himself. There’s no coming back from this one.
“Xander?” His wife’s voice, dripping with desperation, rings out from somewhere nearby. “Can you hear me?”
Xander opens his eyes. Vision blurred, he struggles to focus on her face. What appears to be relief rushes over her.
Lillie was kneeled on the ground next to him, dried blood on her hands from trying to stop the blood flow. The bleeding had stopped, at least for now.
“Oh, thank goodness.”
“Lillie?”
“Yes, I’m here.”
She gives him a small, unconvincing smile.
“Don’t worry. Your mother is on her way over here. We’ll get you all patched up.”
Xander shakes his head to the best of his ability. He felt weak. Even the slightest movements were difficult to manage.
“It’s no use, Lil.”
“Don’t be silly. You’ll get through this like you always have.”
It’s obvious that she’s trying to convince herself that everything will be fine, however, the look on her face indicates that she knows the opposite is true.
He’s going to die. There’s no denying it.
“Anise… She laced the blade. The poison is spreading. I can feel it. There’s nothing we can do.”
Shock flashed across Lillie’s face. It’s clear that she didn’t know that little detail. She frowns, tears welling up in her eyes. Any hope that she had been holding onto was gone. She’s trying her best to hide it, but he knows what’s going through her head.
“You knew about this, didn’t you?”
Lillie averts her eyes, a telltale sign that he was right. She sighs, then turns back to him.
“I’m so sorry, Xan.”
Xander attempts to place his hand on her shoulder to comfort her, but fails. Numbness was starting to take over. His mind was getting foggy and his vision growing even more blurry. Darkness was closing in. He didn’t have much time.

idk if you’ve said / written smth abt this before but i was rereading josh’s tftp and jia’s comment abt lilly loving ari had me thinking abt an au where lilly was still alive and the three of them were together !! do u have any ideas what their dynamic would be like? if u feel like writing a drabble i’ll always read more tftp content but also i know ur work is tiring so i’d be interested in any headcanons too !!!! <3 hope ur doing well
i don't think i've ever mentioned anything about this tbh, and while i don't think joshua would've ever imprinted on ari or even found her had lilly still been alive (because if his powers did stop working he would've immediately went to a doctor because of lilly so he wouldn't have shown up at the same time that ari was brought in, and if lilly didn't die i don't think ari would've been fated to be with him. honestly i think if they had found ari by some chance, lilly and josh would probably treat her more like a little sister or something), i do think this idea is pretty cute so i wanted to write it even though i don't think this would be canon. it's just too cute to pass up hehe
»»————- ————-««
All Lilly wanted to do was get the dishes done in a timely manner, which was why she had Chan on drying duty while she scrubbed at them. But of course, Joshua had to come up and wrap his arms around her waist, kissing her neck softly before whispering, "You need to go wrangle your mate."
She let out a sigh and put the sponge down by the faucet, looking straight ahead with annoyance on her features, "Why is she only our mate when it's convenient for you? Otherwise, she's only mine?"
"I think you answered your own question," he chuckled.
In the beginning, after Lilly and Soonyoung found her while following Eunjin one night when she was in a trance, Joshua didn't want Arinya being anyone's mate. He didn't want another mate and he was perfectly fine with sending her back wherever she came from despite his instincts wanting otherwise. But from the get go, Lilly wanted her to stay. Even if feeling another pull was a little confusing, she was willing to figure it out.
It was thanks to Lilly that Joshua even warmed up to the young werecoyote -- probably because it warmed his heart so much seeing the pair do almost everything together. Lilly was more than willing to teach Ari everything since she was so curious and naïve. She was also more willing to keep up with the younger girl's energy even if she got tired.
Even now, after Joshua finally accepted her, he would give up after a bit and hand her off to Lilly when Ari was too energetic or too curious.
"Is she chasing squirrels again?" Chan laughed.
Josh rolled his eyes, "How'd you know?"
Lilly let out another sigh and dried her hands off with a dish towel before turning around, her mate's arms sliding away from her, "You're annoying sometimes, Hong."
"No, that's kind of my only setting. You know that."
The two boys followed her out to the backyard just in time to hear a loud yelp, followed by a series of whimpers. Eyes scanned the area until the saw Arinya coming from the forest. Joshua took off running immediately getting to her right as she shifted back to her human form. Chan kept pace with Lilly as she followed right behind him.
"What happened?" Joshua demanded, cupping her face in his hands, her blue eyes filled with tears. He searched her body frantically for any signs of injury, hands moving over her body to turn her arms this way and that and to bend all of her joints to make sure nothing was broken as Chan shrugged off his button-up to hand off to Ari.
Instead, Lilly took it and went around behind her, helping her into it so she wasn't just naked in the backyard, because she knew the rest of the pack would probably come to see what she had whimpered at. But that was when she noticed welts on her back.
"Hey Shua?" she asked.
Ari cupped her left cheek and whined, "My face hurts."
Josh gently moved her hand out of the way to find a bee stinger in her cheek, and it was starting to swell. His hand was covering it before so he didn't notice it.
"There's a ton more back here," Lilly sighed, meeting Joshua's eyes over Ari's shoulder.
Josh held her upper arms and turned her around. Seeing her back covered in bee stings, he closed his eyes and sighed, "What did you do?"
"What happened?" Seungcheol called out, coming around from the front yard.
Arinya stayed facing Lilly as the older girl buttoned up her shirt.
"I followed a squirrel up a tree and there was a bees nest," Ari explained through sniffles. "I didn't mean to touch it, I promise!"
"We're not mad," Lilly promised.
Joshua, however, was chuckling at her, "Have we learned to stop chasing squirrels?"
Lilly frowned up at him, "Leave her alone."
"How bad is it?" Seungcheol wondered as more of the pack started coming from around the front or inside the house.
"She's got at least 20, probably," Josh shrugged.
"Are you allergic to bees?" Chan wondered.
Ari turned back toward him and shook her head before she looked up at Josh again, "My tongue feels funny..."
He noted she was talking with a little bit of a lisp and couldn't help but laugh, "Let me see your tongue, goofball."
She stuck out her tongue, and he immediately noticed the sting near the tip of it. He let out a loud laugh and asked, "What, did you eat one?"
"I don't know!" she whimpered, obviously distressed over her bee attack.
"Joshua, heal your mate!" Lilly scolded him. "Stop making fun of her!"
"Come on, kid," he sighed, obviously still amused. "Let's go to our room to heal you up."
Once upstairs, Joshua removed Chan's shirt from her body and Lilly started carefully pulling out the stingers that were still there, softly apologizing whenever Ari flinched or whimpered.
"Alright, open up. Let's fix your lisp," he chuckled.
She opened her mouth and Josh pulled the tiny stinger out. Instinctively, her eyes squeezed shut at the pain and she recoiled away from him, but he softly gripped her chin to keep her still before plucking the one out of her cheek. Despite her head turning away, he kissed the spot quickly and chuckled out a, "Sorry!"
"You should probably do her back first," Lilly told him.
"Am I supposed to heal her tongue?" he asked as Ari went to lay face-down on the bed. "How do I do that? I've never healed a tongue before."
"Just do her back, please," she sighed in annoyance. "I'm sure she's still in pain."
Josh just made a face at her before going onto the bed and kneeling beside the younger girl. He moved his hands across her back, healing the welts and removing the venom from her body to stop the pain and the swelling. After that, he had her sit up to do her cheek, and then he held her jaw and asked her to stick out her tongue again. All the while, Lilly sat behind her and kept her arms around Ari's waist.
Once Josh was done and Ari was back to normal, she slumped back into Lilly's body, "I think I need a nap."
"I think so, too," Lilly agreed, pressing a kiss to her temple. "Wanna lay down?"
"Yeah," she mumbled.
Joshua moved to get in bed with the two girls but Lilly quickly stopped him, "No way."
"What do you mean?" he protested.
"She's my mate, remember?" Lilly reminded him with a shit-eating smirk.
Joshua rolled his eyes and pounced on top of both of them, taking Lilly by surprise but getting Ari to giggle very loudly.
"Mates heal better when they're together. It's a medical fact," he stated. "So you can't fight me unless you want Ari to be uncomfortable for longer."
Ari's head tilted to one side, "But I thought you already heal--"
"See, she's delusional," he nodded. "She really needs both of us."
Lilly snorted and rolled her eyes, "Whatever, Hong."
"Yeah, whatever, Hong," Ari tried to imitate Lilly, but it just made both of them laugh.
"Y'know what, I think I'm gonna give both of you up," he decided.
"I think you're stuck with us," Lilly stated with a smile and a sure nod.
"Yup!" Arinya grinned.
Seeing his two mates smiling up at him, Lilly's head resting against Ari's, he couldn't help but just feel a wave of happiness and love. So he smiled even though he was rolling his eyes.
"If you're gonna twist my arm about it," he conceded.

I made a girlfriend for my transfem Leo headcanon.
Her name Is Eris Usagi. Yes, she is a descendent of miyamato Usagi.
(I actually like the leosagi ship, but in the 2012 series Usagi is most likely in his 40's while Leo was most likely 17 or 18 at the time they met.)
She is an English Spot rabbit.
She met Lilly while eating at the restaurant she worked at with friends. Lilly was their waitress on that day.
All she did was ask them what they'd want to drink, causing Eris.exe to stop working.
Like, her foot was stomping like that one scene from Bambi with thumper.
Tumblr media
(this scene here)
Like this girl was love struck by cupid's arrow and was making it 'really' obvious.
Lilly wasn't sure how to respond to her actions, only asking if Eris was alright.
__________
"is she alright?!"
"uh... Yeah she's fine. Do you mind coming back later, we haven't made up our minds yet."
"oh uh, of course. Take your time."
___________
She was just genuinely worried and left them alone.
Meanwhile, after she left Eris's friends managed to finally calm her down.
________
"dude, are you alright?"
"what happened? All she asked was what we wanted to drink."
________
Eris, still in a love struck haze, only managed to utter the words "beautiful" as her ears flopped and her tail began to wag.
Her friend group already knew how she felt about women, so it wasn't hard for them to realize what was going on.
I say that because literally after that they continue to tease her until one of them sees Lilly walking by with another table's drink.
(they basically pull this move)
Lilly only saw this as a compliment, giving Eris a smile before thanking her for the compliment.
Let's just say that Lilly's smile was enough to cause this poor rabbit to pass out.
After that, the restaurant became the new place where Eris and her friend group would meet up.
(totally to not see a certain turtle. Of course not)
_______
Over time Lilly and Eris soon became friends after always requesting her as their waitress.
They'd go off the first name basis when they see each other while Lilly works.
Even her friend group would call her by her name. (They felt like they adopted her)
There was one evening where Eris and her friends were eating their food, until a loud commotion was made across the dining area.
A plate of food was laying on the ground, smashed from being thrown.
Most of the food staining Lilly, as it was thrown at her.
"you stupid freak! I specifically told you, no fucking onions!" A customer yelled.
Lilly was still processing a plate of, hot, food being thrown in her face. Staining her uniform.
"Hey, I'm talking to you! My wife is allergic to onions! Are you trying to get her killed?!" He screamed as he began to get in her face. Snapping the turtle out of her trance.
"No-no sir, I wasn't aware of onions being in her food. My deepest apologies, I'll get you another plate ma'am." She said.
The enraged customer grabbed hold of her arm.
"You really want my wife to die?! Is that what you want!" He screamed before slapping Lilly across the face, causing her to fall to the ground due to the force.
And at this point, Eris has seen enough.
She gets up from her seat, ignoring the protests from her friends as she walks towards the customer.
Once she got close enough to him, she drew her hand back and landed a hard punch across his face. Knocking his over.
He got up once again and tried to land a hit on Eris, but she was quick to dodge. Causing the man to fall into a couples table.
Eris took this opportunity to grab hold of the man's shirt, forcing him upward and slamming him on the ground.
And at this point Lilly and Eris's friends try to pry her off the enraged man. But she just continues to punch the man in the face.
Even the Man's wife tried to stop him from fighting, the whole restaurant was just a mess.
That is until Tiger Claw comes out, demanding an explanation.
________
"Mr. Tiger Claw, it was my fault. I didn't check if there were onions in her food. Her husband got upset with me because of it. I take full responsibility for this mess." She says as she bows her head before her boss.
Tiger Claw took notice of the food staining the floor and her uniform, along with the bruise forming on her face from the slap.
Before he could even speak, Eris and her friends tried to defuse the mess by saying that Lilly was assaulted by the customer and that they were simply trying to defend her.
Even when he was upset that his restaurant became a mess, he had one simple rule that many people knew about the restaurant:
'Don't harass the employees'
He, calmly, asks one of his employees to escort Lilly to the back to treat her wounds and tells Eris and her group to, please, meet him by the front while he 'handles' this customer.
------
Listen to this. Once you get hired at his restaurant you're only seen as his employees. But once you've gained his trust and earned his respect, you're seen as his cubs. (He treats everyone in the restaurant like he would his family)
So if you mess with his cubs, you might be banned from the restaurant. Along with some threats, he's not just the owner. He's a very powerful person in general.
--------
So while Eris and her friends laugh at the guy getting tossed out by security, Lilly comes out to thank Eris.
"Eris, I just wanted to thank you for what happened. I'd normally handle people like that, but since I was working I had to follow company policy. So thank you very much." She says with a smile.
Eris gets all nervous again when standing in front of her.
"No-no problem! You're welcome!" She says, nearly sounding too loud for her liking.
She takes sight of the forming bruise on her face.
"sorry I wasn't able to stop him from hurting you. I should have tumbled that guy the second I saw him being a jackass to you!" She said in anger.
Lilly took hold of Eris's hand before speaking.
"it's alright. I'm just glad he didn't hurt you. You were actually pretty cool back there. I've.... Never seen anyone go out of their way to beat the crap out of someone for me. I'm very grateful to have someone like you in my life." She says.
After she said that, Eris is left a blushing mess. Like her tail is wagging and she's doing little foot stomps.
__________
These two are meant for each other.
Even when they start going out, Eris is never bored around her.
She's grateful to have her and would gladly drop everything just to be with her.
She even gets along well with her brothers.
And when it comes to relationships with Lilly, if her brothers don't like you then she won't be with you.
Her brothers mean the world to her, so when she sees that her brothers get along well with Eris, then she knows that she's with the right person.
__________
If you have any questions about these two feel free to ask.
I also wouldn't mind you guys coming up with scenarios for them.
(for the previous TMNT post with the same character with the name Eris, I just could give this one a different name. But I can change the Sirens name)
