I feel like their fights blow up quick and burn out fast. It’s a lot of yelling for about five minutes and then it calms back down and they talk things through.

They’d be great parents. Tyler would be worried she was a terrible parent and try extra hard to be a good one because of that.

Probably a lot like they are now. Never able to keep their hands off of each other, always coming back to each other no matter what. Niko might not have been as open about his feelings towards her, but Tyler would be over the moon for him and it would be totally obvious.

Her entire body was exhausted, the bead of sweat was still on her forehead but her breathing had gotten back to normal. She knew her cheeks would be hurting later but she didn’t care as she counted every little toe and every perfect finger in front of her. Normal couples fell in love first, get married and then had the baby, but normal couples didn’t have two countries to rule over. The small barely caught sounds coming from their baby was enough to make her beam up at him once again. For the next couple hours, the baby was just theirs. Only the two of them would know his name and his official title and they would be the one’s who would start to get to know every coo and every cry. Just a couple hours and then he would belong to the public and his little face would be plastered on every magazine in the continent. “We made this.” She said as best she could no longer trying to hide the small bits of a Spanish accent. “I love you the most now.” She handed the tiny boy off to his father, watching his little arms move around in the air from the change. “Si.” Her brown eyes struggled to find a place to stay, they went back and forth between her husband the blanket that had gotten lose but she was happy, happier than she had ever been, happier than she could possibly imagine on her wedding day.

Over the years he’d imagined dying would feel like this, he had been left behind too many times in the past and he’d made it a habit not to trust people after a while. She’d always been the exception if not the biggest of his problems, the flaw in his plans. She was the most beautiful part of all his plans though. Never would he had ever imagined the day he met her that he’d see her again some day, let alone spend as much time as he had with her. After she left he truly believed that was it but fate worked in funny ways sometimes and unknowingly he’d been drawn back to her once more. She was the girl from his past, there were too many girls in his past, but she could’ve been the one. She ended up being the one. Marco never expected his life to be this way, not until she was his own to love and care for, not until he was hers just as much. She’d given him so much more than anyone in his life ever could, she’d made him happy through all the pain, teaching him that maybe he wasn’t such a monster by loving him. He’d tried to do the same, she meant absolutely everything to him, he wanted to love her so she’d known, she was more than just lovable- she was the perfect woman for him. The right one. 

As he sat in the middle of the room in silence, a flashback of their every day togehter so far played before his eyes like an old Charlie Chaplin movie. Their story seemed comedic if you considered the ups and downs, but honestly they were the biggest tragedy to ever exist after Romeo & Juliet. The tragedy he thought at that very moment was that maybe, just maybe, fate had played an ugly trick on them. Maybe they weren’t supposed to fall in love, maybe they were just… well he certainly hoped they hadn’t been just a hand to hold until they got out of the darkness of their own paths, for he’d walk into his right back if she’d ever let go. It wasn’t her who was letting go this time, though. He had himself to blame and she was in her right mind to leave this time. Marco couldn’t quite remember much from that night but he knew in the end he screwed up, you don’t forgive something like that, not when you were planning a future ahead with them only moments ago. He’d gotten used to having Danica around, so dying would feel very much like losing her at this point. And here they were, her slipping from his fingers because he hadn’t appreciated what he had. She’d been precious and fragile and he hadn’t handled it with care, he’d screwed up and now it was all over.

Marco hadn’t said anything as she finished putting her things away, damn it he hadn’t even offered to help. He was too busy thinking about how badly it hurted to lose her. It wasn’t until she was walking towards the door that it hit him, that was it. He’d been so concerned with his feelings that he’d never thought about hers, she was probably hurting worse than he was, she was definitely mad at him for messing it all up and for letting her go. He didn’t want to let her go but this was the end and what he’d always regretted from their previous goodbyes was the fact he’d never been able to actually say it. The male stood up slowly and took a couple of steps forwards in the blonde’s direction. “Dan, I…” He struggled to find the words as he came all too close, deciding to stop. “I’m so sorry, you know it’s… I screwed up and if I could go back and…” He didn’t have to say it, she knew, she didn’t need to hear it. He offered a small smile, genuine like all the ones he’d saved for her and only her with the years. “Fuck it, I love you.” Marco told her, cupping the sides of her face and planting the softest of kisses on her forehead, it wasn’t time to ignore the boundaries but he couldn’t just let her go. “I always will. I love you so much, so I guess yeah, goodbye’s the right one to say now.” Scratching the back of his head, he picked her bags and opened the door to help her carry them outside, a heavy sigh as he stared right into her hazel eyes. That was he biggest I love you he could say before she left him for good.
